Elevators did not work, had to walk 7 floors. The medical base is very weak. I do not recommend with children. There is no pediatrician. According to sanatorium resort vouchers, there are very few procedures. WI-FI only works on the ground floor, not in the rooms. The nursing staff is disrespectful and unfriendly.

We visited the May holidays in the glorious city of Svetlogorsk, which is located in the amazing amber region, and stayed at this hotel. The hotel building is 7-storey, there are elevators (German, but very thoughtful, melancholic... ). As for the pros and cons, I would like to note the following. The hotel building is 7-storey, there are elevators (German, but very thoughtful, melancholic... ). As for the pros and cons, I would like to note the following.
Pros:
- clean rooms with European-style renovation and cozy interiors (standard rooms have a TV, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, a balcony, a bathroom with a shower corner - you can’t call it a shower cabin... in short, a corner in the bathroom, fenced off by a ledge of tiles and a curtain - here such a shower : ), apparently, without further ado, slyly transferred during the reconstruction of the hotel, from the USSR)
- good buffet-type breakfasts (our tour included only breakfasts, and there are no complaints about them - you can eat quite hearty and plenty)
- free internet via Wi-Fi in the rooms (it was not officially announced, but 2 cells out of 5 were caught in the room, so you could more or less use it)
- there is an opportunity to improve your health with medical procedures (there is a medical and preventive department, but we didn’t go there, so I can’t tell you more, there is also a SPA-salon)
- there is a bar, a computer club
Minuses:
- far from the sea (400 meters, but keep in mind that you still have to go down to the sea either along a steep serpentine path or along the local "Potemkin" stairs, the city has a lift - a cable car, but for some reason during our visit it did not work and in general its state was somehow running)
- Standard rooms do not have air conditioning
- in the bathrooms, the smell of sewage was periodically observed (I suspect that due to the peculiarities of the drain in the bathrooms, dictated by the specific arrangement of the shower enclosure... and this drain tends to clog periodically)
- for some reason, the maids sometimes forget to put soap and shampoo, but you can always ask (soap is given in small bars, shampoo in bags....well, you know what bags they give on the plane, say, mayonnaise? well, that's the same size ; toothbrushes, pastes, slippers, bathrobes, shoe polish and other accessories, unfortunately, they don’t give out in standard rooms, maybe there are in suites... however, there is a brush for clothes and a “spoon”)
Summary: for a small town like Svetlogorsk, the hotel is a confident average, even, perhaps, above average. I can fully recommend if you are not picky tourists and prefer to walk more with your feet or go on excursions than to sit in your room.

Arriving here at 6 in the morning, I just wanted to put on a gas mask !!!! ! The smell is unbearable! The beaches are littered! Everything is in the garbage and bottles!
At the base you will be met and shown to the room. A woman, Claudia, will meet you, show you the room and give you bed linen (there are a lot of stains on it, of a different nature). Everything seems to be fine until you enter the room. Bare cracked walls, mold in the corner. room temperature, the toilet is set at an angle of 45 degrees, and a washbasin. There will be a shower with hot water in the building opposite. !!
As for the kitchen. It is only called a kitchen. There are no pots, a kettle, spoons, forks, there are simply no matches. I had a chance to ask Natasha (room cleaner) for matches, I will remember this look for a long time.
Room for ironing clothes. Here you have to go according to a schedule that you are not familiarized with . . yes, they come up with it on the go. When I came at 9 pm to iron things, again this Natasha expressed her dissatisfaction. Let me know when to come to you. As a result, we came to the conclusion that I had to go to Turkey, Natasha knows better !!!! ! ))))))

We met the New Year 2012 at the Volna Hotel, we came from afar. The holidays were just wonderful! Attentive staff, spacious clean room! On the first day of 2012, the charming fairy-tale town of Svetlogorsk pleased us with clear sunny weather! We walked along the promenade, admired the sea, drank mulled wine! And in the evening, near the hotel, a walk under the "wishing oak" was organized. Music and fun contests! Both children and adults played. My 5 year old son was overjoyed! We were treated to mulled wine, tea and hot pies. Those who were cold, despite the sultry dances with Teletubbies, warmed themselves near a huge fire. The neighboring Olimp Hotel has a large heated pool. The price for a session for adults is 150 rubles. Water - +26, air - +4. At first it seemed that it was cold, but we quickly warmed up and felt a special buzz. They swam every day, so, despite the plentiful banquets, she came home built. I advise everyone!
