To stop in Tver for the so-called first May holidays, I had to choose from what was, although it was still mid-April, when that May tourist project was conceived. Yes, and about non-working inter-holiday days, granted by the president, no one even suspected at that time. Therefore, rather rigidly and very long ago they began to “staff” precisely on well-known and long-term certain weekend dates for hotels in cities and villages in the district closest to Moscow.

So, in Tver there were either completely indecently expensive options for our family, or some apartments that I don’t consider in principle. Well, I don’t like it... A couple more roadside hotels on the outskirts of the city. Frankly, in that May trip there was no particular need to stop in the city, various options were considered in the Tver lands. But then, unexpectedly, an interesting option for us in terms of cost was highlighted on a popular hotel website, and besides, in the city center - the Rossi hotel - we must take it!
When traveling with children (and this is exactly the case), I always contact the hotel directly, as they can often offer a more convenient and cheaper accommodation option. Same booking as: yep, 2 adults + 2 kids = get 2 standard rooms. There are times when the hotel does not meet halfway, they say, it is not supposed to have an extra place and that's it. Well, okay, then I take it through the aggregator, I have my own goodies there... In Rossi, we were able to discuss a convenient option for us, agree on a suitable price, which we confirmed by email. Everything is clear and without delay.
As a result, we got a room with a large bed and one extra bed, provided that the second child sleeps (and kicks) with his parents.
In my feminine cunning, I already thought that dad would be sent to a cot, but she seemed flimsy in appearance. So the deceit remained aside, did not risk hotel property : )). In general, with such a huge bed, in order to avoid children's disputes “who threw the backpack on the cot first”, you can put the whole family, yeah, in a stack : ))
Well, what can I say… We liked the hotel. Firstly, it is located in the very center of the city. There is parking for guests, which is very important in our age of auto travel boom. The hotel occupies a small mansion, as we asked later, with only 13 rooms. And it is new, though in the old walls - this is second. The fact is that we love new things very much, we are bastard, one might say. Vooot, and this hotel, here, right from scratch. It opened in the spring of 2020 on the eve of the tourist season, but you all know what happened next in our World. . .
The interiors are designed in soothing light colors. Still clean and shiny. You know, when it still smells of new, even with a crunch. For now, anyway : ).
In our room, at the entrance, at first it was embarrassed by a pillar, rather, out of surprise. But it turned out that even somehow it is convenient or something, it performs a fencing function.
The room benefits in the form of a refrigerator, TV and hair dryer are present. There is no kettle and safe, according to the status it is not allowed yet : ).
The bathroom is tiny, but not cramped. Half of it is occupied by a shower cabin, which our dad defined as a clear advantage - a man, let's say, of a large appearance : ).
I would like to note that the room was immediately equipped with linen and towels in accordance with the number of residents. And this is a plus for the maids. It's just that there were often cases in our hotel practice when children were forgotten. But in fairness, I’ll say that over the past year of domestic trips, I can’t remember such a nuance.
Hotel Rossi, as I wrote above, is quite small, it does not have stars. But it offers buffet breakfasts to its guests. It is very convenient when the hotel offers breakfast. And then go and look for where to eat in the morning. And with the cubs, in general, this very table, which is “Swedish”, is just a salvation, something, but there will be a taste for picky bastards.
Breakfast room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast set is standard, everything you need is available. And yes, let it be ordinary, it would seem, scrambled eggs and sausages, and porridge, but they are tasty and have not cooled down already, as sometimes happens. Butter, jams, sweets, juice, yogurt - everything is as it should be. All in all, a great start to the day! Perky and nutritious.
If you choose a place to stay in Tver, take a closer look at the Rossi Hotel - a good location, decent breakfasts, comfortable, new. And the cost, even for us, very greedy economical individuals, seemed quite acceptable for the indicated advantages. This is not advertising, if, what, just sharing my experience, so to speak : ).
Now the staff is working hard. It is visible, it is felt. I really want to believe that the enthusiasm will not dry up over time, will not degenerate into a routine job of simply registering guests, and the administrators will remain just as sweet and caring.
