The manager at any time got in touch and did her best to help us in resolving issues and just to find out how we were doing. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly reception staff, immediately placed in the room. I really liked the staff, responsive, quickly respond to questions and requests, ready to prompt and explain. We were given a very cool room, double and overlooking the lake. The decor of the room is simple but cozy. Large bed, TV, safe, mini-bar. Bathroom with good plumbing, cosmetics were only soap, towels were changed in a timely manner. Heating is good. Cleaning daily. Breakfast is quite varied. Large selection of vegetables and fruits, milk porridge, eggs, cheeses, meat cuts, sausages, sweets and pastries, coffee, tea. Dinners on the menu - there was always a choice of meat, salads, side dishes. Sweets and desserts were a delight. You can dine inexpensively and tasty at the ski lift. By the way, bass takes you to the lift in the morning, and you can return back by regular bus. The hotel has a rental of skis and other equipment, which is much cheaper than at the ski lift. The nature here is simply unreal, clean fresh air, spruce forests, snow-capped mountains. The photos come out very beautiful. The spa at the hotel is not bad, they offer massage services, you can swim in the pool or soak in the jacuzzi. The hotel is excellent, quite corresponding to all the ideas of the "four". I recommend!

But we chose an alternative for ourselves - there are a lot of rentals near the ski lifts, one of them is so green, they pick it up perfectly, you can secure equipment for yourself for the entire stay and you don’t have to shove it all back to the hotel. In fact, from the hotel to the ski lift, 10-15 minutes of leisurely walking through a beautiful coniferous forest, roads and paths are cleaned and illuminated. The price of the "skipass" is 37 euros with a refund of 15 euros if used up to 2 hours and 33 euros without a refund for one day, for several days there are discounts within 5-15%. Near the hotel there are two restaurants "Kolyby" with national food, the food is rustic, but fresh. For a company of 4 adults and 2 children, they spent about 90-120 euros for dinner (knuckle, first, second, beer, pickles, dessert for children). The hotel rooms are not large, they clean ashamedly, there are towels, bathrobes, plasma TVs with USB in the room, it is very warm, and in general the hotel is very warm, keep this in mind when collecting things, a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers will not interfere. There is a children's room, you can safely leave the children, than they will find something to play there. From Strebský Pleso to Poprad there is an electric train, it is beautiful to ride during the day, it is convenient to ride it to the lifts of other towns. If you go by car, check with the hotel the cost of parking, because initially they say that it is free, but in the end they issue an invoice. When paying for a room at the reception by accident - accidentally tried to charge 80 euros, do not hesitate to check the bills. For those who have read my chaotic monologue, I want to say - go, you won’t regret Strbske Pleso, these are the High Tatras and there is always snow there until mid-March, so for sure, if you don’t want snow, you can also find many interesting entertainments in the hotel and its districts.

There was a chic New Year's banquet with a huge variety of different dishes, with a concert program (dance group, live music, disco). Go to the ski lift not far (300 meters). It was more convenient for us to go there on foot and rent skis there. The price of ski rental per day for an adult is 13 euros. The price of the lift for an adult is 29 euros without discount. The hotel gives a discount coupon for a ski pass (30% discount on it), but it is valid only for the purchase of a ski pass for three days or more. You can ride a ski bus from the hotel for free. Between the villages there is an electric train from the station near the hotel "Crocus". for 6.4 euros, the three of us went to the Tatra Lomnica and back. According to other tourists, Patria is the best hotel in the village and I share this opinion.
