BUT there is no beach in any of its manifestations, we had to go to neighboring hotels to swim, from where we were constantly driven away. Walk to the place of possible bathing 10-15 minutes by land; closer, 5-7 min. , along the sea. But you have to wade a river - a garbage dump.
The hotel restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, the prices are high. The prices at the pool bar are insane. There is no entertainment. But you can go to Chaweng, it's about 10 minutes by taxi. The cost of a one-way trip is 300 baht. ($1=40 baht). Excursions in the hotel are insanely expensive, it is better to use the city travel agencies.
The date of our trip coincided with the rainy season, but the rains did not strain at all, warm and cozy, they only added exotics.
