Can you please tell me where is the best place to eat near this hotel
We are going to Thailand for the first time, I have already broken my head where to take the child to eat. Tell me who was there, where better to go, so that without problems and not super expensive :) Thanks in advance :)

Everything is very simple:
1. Upon arrival, strain the host tour operator on this topic !!!
2. Go outside and walk past cafes .. where there are most Russians with children, you eat there ..
3. It's full of cheap fruits.. a couple of days the child can live on them until you find a normal cafe..

From Tsentar to the right and up goes the street to the central avenue (I don’t remember the name) there are about 10 quite decent cafes on it. Only they work somewhere until 22-23 hours. If you don't like it - in extreme cases, to the left of the exit to the street there is a small Family Market and a little further there is a bigger store. You can buy everything there 24 hours a day. If there is a problem with the child’s food and you don’t feel like going anywhere, pay extra for club rooms in Tsentar and you can eat quite tolerably five times a day in a rather beautiful and comfortable lobby on the 12th floor.

there will be no problems with food, you go up the lane from Centara to the avenue, there are cafes at every step, Italian, German, Russian, Thai, etc. We really liked the Tavern, they cook very tasty, the prices are normal. Ask for Thai food without spices, know spicy, otherwise you won’t be able to eat. I highly recommend trying Tom Yum soup, it seems with shrimp - lick your fingers! shrimp recommend fried in garlic sauce. I also liked the entertainment center Plaza, there is a good Japanese restaurant ZEN, at the level and inexpensive. Fuji didn't like Japanese fast food. There is also McDonald's and stuff if the child wants something familiar. By the way, in all cafes there are meat steaks, chicken steaks with potatoes (tapioca) fries, very tasty. I do not advise you to eat in the hotel itself - it is 5 times more expensive than in cafes, and less tasty. Just a good breakfast...

Well, first of all, don't stress. in Thailand, you can almost everywhere normally, and especially in Pattaya, you can eat inexpensively. Indeed, there are supermarkets where you can buy food for your child in the first days. You didn't say how old the child is. if 2-3 years is one thing, then what kind of McDonald's can we talk about? and what kind of soup? - if the child is 7-10 years old, then you can try chicken soups, chicken in different forms, fish - just not very fried, if you like it, it’s better not to yam, but to that with coconut or plain milk - they cook it without pepper, and you can really give your child - there are boiled seafood, it can also be chicken. don’t even worry about it. worry about high humidity and stuffy heat. some did not like it. good luck.

Family Market, seven ileven, the best - Lotus Tesco - there is food even for kids - and milk powder and cereals and mashed potatoes in jars and not very expensive.

Don't worry. In Thailand, you can always eat delicious food. I don't know where is your hotel, but in Pattaya 2 Tosco Lotos. There are various cuisines on the second floor. Lunch there is very cheap and, as in all of Thailand, VERY tasty. So lunch for 3 (I am a wife and a child of 10 years old) with freshly squeezed juices will cost you 250-300 baht. (Rub.) There are also rolls and sushi very beloved by children for 10 baht. per piece We even just took a tuk-tuk and went there to eat. And on the streets in the evenings along the roads there are macarons (motorcycles with an attached kitchen) and they cook amazing pancakes with bananas for 30 baht. 2 pancakes are given for 50 baht. The children are all squealing with delight. Be sure to try the fried wide noodles with seafood! And everywhere be sure to say PIT NIT NOY or KNOW SPESI, which means without hot spices. GOOD LUCK! Tai you will like it. And eat more yellow mangoes! Don't break away. It is cheaper to buy them in the markets: 45-60 baht kg., And on trays -20 baht pcs.

... in the center between the 1st and 2nd roads there is a shopping center "Festival" .. there is a food festival on the ground floor ... if I'm not mistaken, about 10 different cuisines of the world are represented .. near each kitchen there are samples of dishes on the plates .. at the entrance pay money at the cash desk, they give you a credit card and pay for it .. the remaining money on the card will be returned at the same cash desk ..

In April we were in Thailand for the first time with our 7 year old daughter. My principle for choosing a cafe (worked flawlessly): 1. walk down the street and look at cafes where ordinary foreigners mostly sit 2. be sure to have a menu in such establishments where dishes with prices (with pictures) are written in Russian, in English, see if the price range suits you and make a decision. First of all, I looked at how much fried rice costs, if the price is 30-40 baht, then many other dishes mean in the range of 70-150 baht. In such Thai cafes, chicken noodle soup is very tasty, usually at a price of 70-80 rubles, but we somehow overcame a portion with my daughter. We never took drinks in cafes, because. a little expensive, we usually brought water with us and asked for glasses, this is a normal practice, do not be shy. Be sure to visit a Chinese restaurant in Hyper Big C - there are terribly ridiculous prices (a pot of soup, three dishes with duck cost us 295 rubles!). Japanese restaurant Fuji is also not expensive 300-500 rubles for a family of three. Do not worry here and there, but in Pattaya there are more food than people. And most importantly, everything is delicious and CHEAP!!!

This is the best answer. From myself, I’ll just add that, having settled in Naklua Beach, which is next to the fish market, we spied on the Japanese for another type of food — you buy live shrimp and crabs at the fish market and give the chef of the restaurant at the hotel and 50 baht for work. And in ten minutes a delicious fresh dinner is brought to you either in your room or wherever you wish on a tray. Yummy - words can not describe. And the prices at the fish market - see my trip report - very acceptable. Another important detail - no matter where the tourists of our race ate, no one had poisoning, so relax and learn the phrase-know spice!

There is a Family Market nearby. But he's not very good. We ate and our five year old child in different restaurants. But if there is no desire to try different things, then we often ate in a German restaurant, which is located: leave the hotel and turn to the right. Go to the turn. There the street went up. There is a restaurant at the end of the street (almost at the top near the main one) on the left side. There, opposite him, there are also Femeli Mart and their interior is yellow. And the Russian menu is written in capital letters. They really cook for a long time, but the portions are large, very tasty !!!!!!!!!!!! (She explained how to leave the hotel, since you won’t understand the main one. And so you got out, turned to the right, continue until you turn to the left and calmly go up until you see this restaurant on the left, it is recognized well!).
And so we walked on the face and went into different cafes where different people sit, of all nationalities! Mostly foreigners, Europeans. And in all cafes there is a menu in Russian and pictures. So bon appetit and have a great rest!

You can't eat in Femeli Market and Seven Eleven, you'll be hungry. There is nothing but water, chips and all that rubbish.
Fuji is yes! Very tasty and not only 300-500 per family, but more expensive. Located in the Center Festival. In this festival, we ate ..... cheaper, tastier nowhere. By the way, for lovers of Japanese cuisine, they sell rolls and sushi by the piece for 10 baht !!!!! I don’t recommend Russian cuisine, it’s expensive and that’s not why you go there. Thai food (if without spices) is even nothing))) We even tried "field cuisine", i.e. taken on the street. Try different fruits.

oddly enough, here in Thailand there is one rule: the better the conditions and the type of cafe, the worse the food in it. And you need to eat not where foreigners eat (this is food for visitors, ate and left), but where Thais are, because they are regular customers and a Thai will not eat poor quality food. But whether the mentality will allow to eat there. Only with this, foreigners have problems here, there are no more problems, there are more places to eat in Thailand than ants in an anthill. Sometimes it seems to me that Pattaya is such a big kitchen where everyone eats all the time.

The way it is! We didn't have a permanent place to eat. We chose different cafes, as we wanted an interesting rest and a variety of cuisine. Have tried a lot of things. I am more European, my husband is all in a row - but mostly Thai. My child was not deprived either. She is 5 years old and ate rice, potatoes, fish and shrimp! She loves seafood and there were no problems with food for the child, and breakfast with fish broth is very tasty at the hotel!

Dear forum users! Thank you very much for such a number of information :) I am very, very grateful to you all!!! I can't wait for my vacation)))) Thank you again!!!!
P.S: the child is not small (11 years old), but finicky is just awful :)

oooooh 11 YEARS - ESTABLISHED TASTES, BUT DO NOT EXPERIENCE such a variety and different tastes as in Tai - there is nowhere (in my personal opinion). For a child who knows how to chew, there will be no problems! good luck
