Just got back from Thailand!! ! Sea of pleasant impressions!! ! We flew from Koral, there are no complaints about them - everything was well organized. Before the trip, I read a lot about the hotel, I was ready for anything. The hotel did not disappoint me. If we take into account its three stars, then it corresponds to these stars. There is no super repair in the rooms, but everything is clean and tidy. We lived in a building without a tower, the type of room was "superio", there was a safe in the room, old chairs-chaise lounges on the balcony, a new TV with 3 channels in Russian. Almost everyone writes about small ants, they also lived with us, but they do not bite and we decided not to pay attention to them, only everything sweet should be hidden in the refrigerator. The room was cleaned every day for four, we left 10-20 baht and our Russian sweets (there is a problem with sweets in Thailand), they didn’t steal anything from us, they didn’t delve into personal things. Stock up on raptors - SEA OF MOSQUITOES in the entire building. We ran out of our pshikalka from these animals, we bought a Thai one - these mosquitoes don’t care, they suffered at night.
The breakfast is quite tolerable, it is difficult for me to stuff a lot of food in the morning, I ate watermelons, pineapples and a little bit of meat with thin rice noodles. My husband said that sausages are much tastier than in Turkey and Egypt. There is enough food for breakfast, but at lunch you can refresh yourself. We also took food on the beach, on the street near the hotel, and ate in cafes (in the Kondoboran cafe we liked the tom yang soup and seafood dishes). They took fish, shrimp, pork on the street, they immediately put sauces and greens on the food. On the beach, everything is already more expensive. Fruits were bought on the nearest street and a little further away there is a local market, fruits and vegetables are cheaper there (ask the girls who work in tour agencies for its location). The beach was clean enough, we compared several beaches, the dirtiest is the central one. Our beach was already closed at 6 pm, so in the morning you come to clean sand, and where there is a courtyard, the beach is much dirtier. Getting to the beach street, where shopping centers are located on the famous Volkin Street, was not difficult: it was a few minutes walk to a tuk-tuk along the street, you take a tuk-tuk and for 10 baht and you are in the center. How to get where you need to ask the tourists, guides, they will tell you everything. For the first few days, carry a map of the city with you. Tuk-tuk can take you like a taxi and like a regular minibus. We always paid 10 baht, and if you talk to the driver, he will quickly drive you to the place for 150-200 baht. Excursions were taken on the street, everything was well organized, only I recommend taking a trip to the Kwai River from guides, because the route is different (our friends rode with Pegasus, we liked their tour of their photo report more). I tried massage in several salons, I liked LILY's massage salon the most - the mistress is Thai there, and her husband is Russian, you can always explain what you want and make an appointment with a massage therapist you like.
Holidays in Thailand are active, you need to walk and travel a lot, so there is no need for expensive hotels, if there are excursions with overnight stays (and there are many such trips and they are very interesting), then you will not spend so much time in the hotel. The main thing is a positive attitude, a clean beach for moments when you are not on an excursion, the availability of money for travel and shopping centers, markets where you can buy summer things. Another point - when departing from Thailand, airlines are allowed to take out 15kg of luggage, not 20kg !!! ! Hand luggage was not weighed, we carried fruits both in our luggage and in our hands. When collecting things for a trip, try to limit yourself to small things, you will buy a lot upon arrival - T-shirts, shorts, etc. , do not take a lot of soap and bath accessories - gel, shampoo, toothpaste, shaving foam, cotton pads and sticks, etc. d. everything can be bought at the nearest seven-eleven or family-mart store. And you don’t need to take all this to Russia if you bought a bunch of souvenirs, things and fruits, because. payment for 1kg overweight 500 baht!! ! GOOD DYKHA AND GOOD MOOD!! !
