We rested in the country of smiles for the second time. Last year, the choice fell on the northern part of the Long Beach Hotel. As a result of the rest, we decided that in Thailand it was a waste to spend money on hotels with 4-5 stars and a location on the first line. The hotel was chosen for a long time, by studying information on the Internet. We chose Wongamat Privacy Residence and did not lose a single drop. The hotel is located next to the Mirage Hotel. To the sea on foot for 5-10 minutes, it all depends on the pedestrian. For the entire time of the holiday, they themselves went to the beach only 4 times, since there was enough communication with water on the islands, excursions and near the pools. On the territory there are three pools, which are interconnected. The depth is different, the smallest with elements of a jacuzzi, very much liked by children, as well as adults. The water does not smell like bleach, the pools are cleaned regularly. The hotel has 5 buildings, 7 floors high, building C and D includes 1-2 room apartments (rent a 2-room apartment - 2800 baht per day, which includes cleaning and linen change). We lived in building A on the 4th floor, room 45-50 sq. m. - very large spacious, balcony overlooking the Mirage hotel, tiled floor. The room had a good refrigerator, TV, wardrobe for things, a table with 2 chairs, an ottoman, a sunbed like a sofa, and two beds with a bedside table. Also in the room was a 3-liter thermopot. The toilet was in the same room as the bath and shower. There was also a hair dryer, shampoo bottles, soap bars were updated daily. Two towels per person. A bottle of water per person was brought daily. The staff cleaned the room well. There were no insects in the room even with the balcony open. The balcony deserves a separate description - large, the railings are high, unlike Long Beach. On the balcony were two rocking chairs and a table. The hotel area is clean and green. There is a gym, but we didn't use it. Breakfasts were held in the restaurant in the main building. The dishes on offer were completely satisfactory, of course, the Thai-style cooking bias. It was also possible to order both lunches and dinners, the average cost of a European-style dish is 200-250 baht. In the main building on the ground floor there is a massage parlor, the girls work well (Thai massage - 200 baht per hour, foot massage 200 baht per hour). We got to the center with the help of Tuk-tuks in about 10 minutes, it all depended on traffic jams. Walk to Naklua Street, five minutes.
