Pattaya launches an extensive campaign to introduce a universal ban on smoking. Under the new rules, the smoking ban has moved from beaches to all public places, including hotels and city streets. Even an unlit cigarette in the hands or in the mouth is now considered a violation.
For smokers, special places were equipped, marked with special signs. Smoking in the wrong place will be fined 5.000 baht (about 9.000 rubles).
Recall that the campaign to ban smoking in Thailand is in full swing. It is forbidden to smoke on popular Thai beaches, including the territories of Phuket, Krabi, Krabi and others, not excluding the islands. It is noteworthy that the ban also applies to electronic cigarettes, which are even prohibited from being imported into the country.
