Been to this hotel twice. The first time was in February 2008. I was shocked by the hotel with a plus sign. The rooms are all brand new, beauty, an elephant walks around the territory, for breakfast there are 12 types of freshly squeezed juices, and the rest cannot be conveyed at all. We returned to May, and there is complete devastation. : ( The hotel is very dilapidated, apparently due to high humidity, the TV broke down four times. There seemed to be no Russian channels. Breakfasts are poor, freshly squeezed juices or not, or only from carrots or papaya (not tasty). Food is very expensive, salad 800 - 1000 rubles, juices, cocktails from 400 rubles Dinner for two, without alcohol 6-8 thousand rubles The only thing that has not changed is the beach. Gorgeous, clean, warm ocean. But here, too, an unpleasant surprise awaited. The first 4 days, could not get out of the water, warm, clean, with a wave, but we somehow adapted, we didn’t leave the water for 2 hours (water +28), but that was it! we didn’t go into the sea again, and not only us, no one swam, and there was no chance to enter the water, red flags were hung out on the beach, it’s forbidden to swim. I tried, one day, the wave seemed a little smaller, so I was thrown out of the sea, I almost broke my arm, I was all in abrasions. And we were afraid of the rain! It turns out that in Phuket the wind is the main problem since May. There were also rains, but they were short-lived. Although twice the electricity was cut off for several hours, due to strong gusts of wind and rain. So, if someone is planning to Phuket in May, I really do not advise. And in the hotel, until the renovation is done, there is nothing to do.

It was my first time in Thailand. We were helped to choose the hotel in the office of Natalie Tours. We said we wanted silence, great service, beautiful scenery and no animation. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we immediately realized that this was what we needed. We got a room with a garden view, and I didn’t even think about changing it to a sea view, although I usually live everywhere with a sea view. It was just that the garden under the windows was so magnificent that I did not want to move anywhere. Well, the room itself - with a huge bed, perfectly clean, spacious, with massage chairs and everything imaginable and inconceivable for personal hygiene - made an impression.
The hotel grounds are huge and very well maintained. My husband and I were happy to find out that bikes are available for rent at the hotel. Moreover, there are many of them and they are advanced, it was comfortable to ride on rough terrain. Riding a bike in such beauty, then grabbing fruit in your room, replenished every day by the staff, and diving into the pool's hydromassage area is a treat for the gods.
Breakfast at the hotel is good. You have to pay a lot for lunches and dinners, you should not expect the usual Thai cheapness here. But everything is very, very tasty, and not only local cuisine, but also, surprisingly, Italian cuisine - usually in Asia they don’t know how to cook such things, but here is another case. In general, all the attendants are on the level - they are not seen or heard, but everything is done quickly and very well.
On the territory of three large pools, there is plenty of space. The beach is huge, but there are no sun loungers near the water - it is still a nature reserve. For me, it's so beautiful - it gives the impression of a real wild beach, untouched by civilization. The entrance to the water is convenient, but the coast is steep - it goes quite sharply into the depths. Swimming, at least in January, is excellent.
Sometimes we still wanted to have fun, so we left the hotel twice - once by taxi to Patong (1000 baht one way, baht is approximately equal to the ruble) and once we took a long excursion to the Similans. I didn't like the first one at all, but I highly recommend the second one.
Now I can only remember how every morning, about half an hour after dawn, I left our room into the garden, inhaled the intoxicating aromas and went to the sea to practice yoga on the beach. In Moscow, I have been going to a yoga studio for two years already, went on two yoga tours, and I can say with confidence that there is no better place in the world for practice, meditation, peace than the far corner of this wonderful deserted beach in the early morning. As it is correctly written in one of the reviews about this place - you come back from there as from another planet. One of the best holidays in my life.
