We rested at the Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach hotel in March 2013 with the whole family (me, husband, child 6 years old, grandparents), the hotel was booked through the website of the Ivan Susanin travel agency www. ivan-susanin. com, they were very satisfied with the rest We plan to go there again in 2014! 1) The weather-season was wonderful, sunny, blue sky, for 16 days there was no rain at all, a slight breeze blew, the heat was easily tolerated.
2) The hotel is fully designed for families with small children - a large room with an additional sofa-sofa, where a child up to 12 years old can sleep separately. The room has a kitchenette - microwave, kitchen sink, cupboard with utensils. Many pools with different depths and water slides. Every day there are animated events for children, in the evening there is a children's disco. In the hotel restaurants, meals for children under 12 years old are free of charge according to a special menu, they pay only for the order of adults. There is a children's room with a nanny. They rent strollers, pots, children's chairs, inflatable toys and everything else for babies. There are a lot of children! (mainly from Sweden and Germany).
3.5 minutes walk to the beach, the sea was very calm and clean, however, there were a lot of people. Along the beach there are many restaurants with a Russian menu and good cuisine.
4) The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the colorful Phuket Fantasy show, the same amount to a supermarket and a bank, only in the other direction.
5) Near the hotel on Fridays a large market of things and products arrives.
6) Spa with individual cabins, and not as often happens - all together.
7) The hotel itself offers many excursion programs at a reasonable price. Every evening in the hotel itself there is a musical program and a disco for adults.
8) There are not many Russian vacationers!
9) The food is varied and fresh! (compared with other places), for 2 weeks did not even have time to get bored.
10) Everywhere is very clean! The rooms have good soundproofing, despite the large number of children in your room you can not hear them.
Of the minuses:
1) The old air conditioner in the room, which, when turned on, imitated the sound of a plane taking off, so we had to cut it down at the most interesting place.
2) A 4-star hotel, there is no particular luxury, it reminds many of the IKEA store, but children can safely run everywhere, climb, touch everything without fear of damaging it.

5. There is a shop at the hotel (more expensive than on the street), but the main thing is there.
6. Breakfasts are good - overeat (Thai dishes and fruits are especially good)
7. Restaurant at the hotel - prices and food quality are normal (almost like on the street) - very convenient when you don’t want to go anywhere in the evening - you order to your room.
8. Gym - high-quality modern simulators (small - but everything you need to eat)
9. Massage - right on the beach - cheap - from 300 rubles for 1 hour - convenient, close, cheap.
10. The rooms are large and equipped with a mini-kitchen-sink, refrigerator, microwave (this was a fundamental issue for us in general) without tiles, though (they brought their own and used it, they prepared it for the child themselves). There is a free safe.
11. There is animation for adults and children, though in Swedish, our children are not very interested (and the Swedish, like in the camp, are always doing something).
The cons are very few, practically non-existent.
1. Some kind of pump or generator was noisy for several days (at night, several half-asleep nights) - the whole building was shaking and vibrating - they complained to the reception, it seems they stopped turning it on at night
2. The exchange rate at the hotel is not profitable (although there is a good exchanger on the beach, but it closes early at 17-00).
3. A bit far from street entertainment places - you have to go 1 km (about 100 rubles), and to the mass and most interesting places even further 6-10 km (1200 rubles in both directions) - although this is not necessary for families with children + on the purity of the sea affects, where the entertainment is dirty.
4.
