We rested on Koh Samui with my husband last year in July. We really enjoyed! The weather was wonderful, the rains, if any, were insignificant and did not cause us any discomfort at all. Yes, probably the prices for hotels are cheaper at this time. We rested at the Chaweng resort 3. This is a bungalow. It's very cool there. Near the center, a lot of inexpensive cafes and shops nearby. The beach near the hotel is great. We flew from Bangkok to Koh Samui with Bangkok Airways. The flight is honestly not cheap.
