What can I say: Tunisia is a country to which not everyone would return a second time if it were possible to fly at least to Egypt and Turkey, Tunisia has not yet reoriented to wide tourism, apparently not a priority direction of development. Everyone who arrived this year (our hotel was 100% full) ended up in Tunisia for the first time.
At the same time, I can say that everything is OK with security. Those who are thinking about this, let them be calm - there is a patrol on every corner, the state guard periodically drives along the beach on quadrics, plus security guards on the territory of the hotel. At the same time, you do not notice them, but if you pay attention, you understand that everything is under control. It seems to me that now the situation with Turkey and Egypt is much worse.
We liked the hotel, good, family, the quality of the Turkish fives. The water park is great. Animation works out for 5+, unobtrusive and at the same time constantly doing something with someone. The sea for children, all conditions are also for them - starting from the children's menu (a small selection, but still... ) in a restaurant with high chairs, children's animation throughout the day and an evening mini-disco, pumping up a special pool with children's slides. Food - norms, ice cream as much as you want, round-the-clock food and so on; alcohol, as in most hotels in Turkey, only local and without alcohol), but the beer is delicious!

In terms of cleanliness in the room - acceptable, cleaned every day, but the lack of carpeting, and the type of rooms - detached houses, make themselves felt... Upon arrival, you pay attention to this, but then everything is ok.
The territory of the hotel is large, you can walk for 10 minutes from one end to the other, there is enough greenery for Tunisia (compared to Turkey, of course, not enough), mostly palm trees.
Compared to the living conditions of ordinary Tunisians, this hotel would seem like paradise for them)
Of the minuses - the sea. In 2/3 of the cases it is polluted with algae and debris, although the bottom is sandy. The beach is also cleaned poorly, almost always a bunch of algae on the shore. During this period of time (beginning of July) there were many large (10-15 cm in diameter) jellyfish, which now and then stung someone. The sand is not white, as many people mistake about the coast of Tunisia. They say that really good beaches are in Hammamet, which is about 1.5 hours drive from Monastir.
In general, I can say that you can go if you plan to spend the absolute majority of your time at the hotel and if there is no opportunity to relax in Turkey / Egypt.
As for the hotel - I would recommend it to the rest (with a reservation about the sea).
