Already in the second half of September there may be frequent rains, the air is somewhere +25, and the sea is +23, then it gets worse

better go at the beginning of September, last year it was already raining on September 15th. if you want a quiet holiday - Hammamet, you can choose a hotel near the Medina. It is noisy in Yasmine, but there are a lot of entertainment, souvenir shops, Modern Medina, port nearby.

for the questioner: do not listen to "burtsev_ilya" - one year was not lucky, that's okay. I rested at the end of September from 20, 24, 27 for 2 weeks in different years. The weather is even better than in June. !October 0 sea - 27, air - 35. Everything is fine, not hot (about Hammamet), bearable (about Monastir). Until the end of October, go, do not hesitate. Katerina00 - hello, on the site... as you can see, I'm not in Tunisia yet. My favorite number and nearby are busy for another week - I'll wait until 11.06.

safsaf - - mutually, glad to read your posts again! I already thought you were landing on our hot-loving land!!! :) well, for the sake of good numbers, you can wait a week. And you still haven’t admitted which hotel is your favorite :)) Be sure to share your stories about your vacation when you return! :)

What do you mean don't listen to "burtsev_ilya" - look at the data yourself, and I was in Tunisia in August - even then it was +30 and didn't smell.

SW. "burtsev_ilya", I personally last year was in the period from 09/01 to 09/11 - the air temperature was much higher than 30 degrees during the days, and until the end of September (I know from reliable sources, and not just by studying the weather on websites) there was hot weather and rare rains . But in mid-October, it seems to be getting colder.

Ilya,
I personally don't mind your feelings. I have, that is, triple personal data just in the autumn period. Therefore, I repeat that until the end of October you can ride safely. And even for the school autumn holidays (who needs it) it will also not be cold. You must have just been caught in a cyclone. And I wonder what didn't smell there??

Last year we visited the Marabut 3 * hotel in Sousse from September 1 to 12, the first line is almost in the center. The sea was very warm. The hotel operates on half board. The location of the hotel is excellent and the hotel itself is good (read reviews) The only thing - was Ramadan. This year - from 19.08 to 21.09 pay attention to it, in Tunisia it is strictly observed. But it didn't bother us much.

it is better to fly in early September - so as not to get caught in the rain (suddenly a cyclone again)
if you need both a city and tranquility - then really Hamammet
if calm and warmer - Mahdia (the southernmost resort)
аватар DegusT
Dear travel specialist, Djerba is the most southern and calm seaside resort!

And by the way, it rains in June. Half a day of rain - then the sun. And in the Sahara, I got caught in the rain both times !! So how lucky...
аватар PlyusheMonstr
dear safsaf))))
I put it wrong - the southernmost mainland resort :)
Thank you for such an ardent snomaniya to my posts and timely correction of errors :)))
hope for further cooperation

As for the personal experience of each of the respected experts, the weather has been generally unpredictable over the past few years. And not only in Tunisia - all over the world, what the hell is going on.
Last year, snow fell in the UAE and Morocco, people died from the cold.
In Hammamet, for example, last year it was stormy all May, but it was sunny and dry. In the first week of June, the water temperature was no higher than +17.
As for autumn ... In Tunisia, the velvet season falls just in September-October, the most comfortable weather - the scalding heat has already subsided, the water is as warm as possible, and there are no jellyfish)))
Usually, you can swim comfortably until the end of October, in early November, the water temperature slowly drops.
But still, almost the whole of November, you can also swim.
By the way, this year we swam in the 20s of December, the water was about +20 - it was very sunny, and the shallow waters in the North Hammamet area warmed up quite well. (Although in the first ten days of December there were real cold weather - for almost a week the night temperature in Hammamet dropped to -3, and during the day it rose to +5.)
And after the winter, the swimming season was reopened at the end of March - the water, of course, is cold, but it is very possible to quickly swim back and forth for 100 meters.

Well, it's nice to read a normal comment .. from tigana. Exactly, last year in Hammamet in May it was stormy, and in June the water was cold. At the 3rd week, it seemed to become warmer in shallow water, it was possible to plunge a couple of times. And it was overcast, and the rain ... well, not intrusive. And about autumn - the truth, as I said. The most important thing is that there are already much fewer Russians, and especially schoolchildren. And jellyfish are more of a rarity, if a couple is taken ashore (or children are pulled out), the whole beach will come running, be sure to take pictures. Well, further observation of the weather is obvious with permanent residence in Hammamet. Well, is it the jumps T -3- +5? Here in Algeria last August there were jumps from 25 at night to 40 during the day in the shade!! And the sea is not more than 23-25 degrees. So there is something to compare with about the same latitudes.
So sergei117, go anytime - the weather is always good in Tunisia. There is no sun - there are SPA and excursions, or independent trips to nearby resorts. There is the sun - the beach, the sea, anyway, from 9 to 18 on the sand you can’t lie out !!!

Dear SAFSAF! If you are back please share your experience! I'm looking forward to!!! :)))
