We gave in this hotel 20 dollars for a room with a sea view and a dollar for cleaning. But then they left with difficulty: they didn’t want to let us out until we paid $ 80 for the allegedly broken door by us. We did not break it, it was like this before moving in. They could not prove their innocence, since the bus had already arrived for us and the guide could not wait for our clarifications. But upon arrival, we immediately wrote a complaint to our travel agency. The travel agency turned to the tour operator, they contacted the Turkish Embassy, those with the hotel, and in the end, our innocence was confirmed and the money was returned after 2 weeks! We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives! Be careful, the hotel is not decent!

As for a better room, I would first advise someone from your company to go see what number they will offer you at the reception and act according to the circumstances. If the number suits you, then you can thank with some money, if the number does not suit you, then we gave 20 USD. and the issue was resolved. It may be that you paid for a room, for example, with a garden view, and ask for a sea view and at the reception desk they can set a condition to pay the difference between these rooms (50-200 c.u.). If you definitely decided that if you only want a room with a sea view, then it’s probably really best to pay for this room at a travel agency. Regarding tips, they left 1 USD, but not every day. They cleaned both with tips and without them very well. We didn’t make swans out of towels in any hotel (with tips, without them, we were probably not lucky), but our favorite toys were very beautifully folded in the child’s crib (it was very nice).
