My name is Dmitry and my family and I, unfortunately, had to spend the New Year holidays with my wife and two children in this supposedly 5 * hotel. I’ll clarify right away that I’m not the first time in Turkey, but already the eighth, and have already visited 33 (yes, not 3, namely 33) countries of the world today, lived in expensive hotels and inexpensive ones, in RIXOS networks, many Radisson, Marriot, Savoy, Le Meridien and many more. Was in the UAE, Ibiza, Mexico, Maldives, half of Europe, cruises and a lot, where else. I am writing this in order to confirm my tourist competencies, so that the hotel’s defenders do not have arguments that maybe I even “escaped from Russia for the first time” or “yes, where were you at all. ” Despite the fact that I travel a lot, I have not written reviews for a long time because I am almost always generally satisfied with everything, I am one of those travelers who are served out of turn by bartenders and waiters, because I smile at them, communicate with them positively and I give a tip.
Therefore, I never have problems with the service, but this case is so extraordinary that I simply have to write about it. I don’t know how to write briefly, because I prefer to argue my position, including sorry for the many letters.
Important - I didn’t choose the hotel, it was advised in the agency to my friend, he booked it back in August with his family and we agreed to join them.


We stopped at Adalya "Elite" Lara on January 2 in the evening and immediately it turned out that our room, which we had paid for (two-room family sea view), of course, could not be provided to us, we could spend the night in a regular room, and tomorrow we would be relocated right in the morning. We are sane and adequate people, we didn’t throw tantrums about this and agreed to this temporary downgrade. At the same time, no one particularly apologized to us, and no one even offered any bonuses (for example, visiting an additional Ala Carte, we would use it).
In the morning we managed to sleep longer than usual, and go to a not very long breakfast, even take a walk to the sea, but our room was still not ready. Then, when we were told at 12 o'clock that it was finally ready, we waited another 30 minutes for a porter who would bring the keys and carry the suitcases.

Thus, half a day was lost in moving from room to room, and we, already tired of this, came to the new room, saw strange stripes on the glass in the interior door. We ran them on both sides - they are perfectly smooth, not a single scratch, that is, they are just stripes inside the glass, around the glass itself the cashing is all collapsed and with traces of glue, it is clear that they have already tried to fix it somehow, but to no avail .

We looked around - peeling wallpaper, WEB on the floor lamps, in general, for an allegedly new hotel (built in 2016) a very tired state, and we thought, well, that means the glass is also from this series of “artificial antiquity” and did not bother about it, and we are already tired of these crossings, and glass does not create any threat. In general, it looked like a dull pattern (there are many such “solutions” in this “Elite” hotel). So they scored and went for a walk. Moreover, the room was not prepared - some papers were lying around, there were not enough towels, the minibar was empty. On January 9th, we leave the hotel at 6 am and then on January 8, exactly after 6 pm, they call the room with Guest Relation and start to run into my minor daughter that “you broke the glass and the director said that you urgently pay $ 150, otherwise we will not let you out of the hotel on the plane. ”
I tried to write about this problem to a guide from Coral / Odeon (we are basically used to the fact that in normal 5 * hotels and with normal operators, guides can be in touch at 23:00), whom we asked the day before to book an individual transfer for us, to which I received an answer that, in fact, his working day was already over and he was purple about our problems, he knows his job duties very well, call some hotline, whose phone he did not even bother to reset. How can you say that to CUSTOMERS? Especially to whom you have already sold excursions worth tens of thousands of rubles and also FORGOT to order an individual transfer (of course, there is a commission there, after all, from only $ 45 - why waste time). In general, Coral is definitely the worst of all the operators that carry to Turkey.
Then the employee from Guest Relation began to lie that you were compensated for the room, you went to Ala Carte 2 times. I say that no one even offered us this, because we would have used this option. He began to name the dates on which we allegedly went, and after the first date (correct) he fell silent. He began to lie further that the cleaning lady noticed this only this morning, although these stripes were there all week.

It should be noted here - I am very sorry that I also left a tip for this cleaning lady for her mediocre cleaning - there is always sand in the room, 3 towels for 4 people, a towel for the feet, which would not interfere on the ICE tiles (on the heated floor in "Elite" do not know how) put only 2 times for the entire holiday. I had to throw face towels on the floor so as not to freeze my feet.

In general, none of our arguments were accepted, no one was going to go look at this glass together, there was allegedly an appraiser and calculated everything, on the demand to give a price list for damage to things (it should be in the hotel) - we will give it to you tomorrow afternoon (they know that check out is at 6 am). They delayed everything on purpose until the evening of the last day of our stay, when neither the guides nor the tourist support services are no longer working and we have already left in the morning.

I said that, in fact, no one compensated us for the difference between the cost of the rooms, to which this “employee” urgently came up with the idea that there was only $ 20 (of course, he refused to provide the price again), and that “the director said that if it’s so important for you , then we can subtract these 20 dollars, ”which simply extinguished the hope for some kind of adequacy of the negotiations. The question is, what do you understand - that I will post all this on all Russian reviews - we don’t care, post it.
For them, $ 150 for nothing (despite the fact that we left $ 4.000 for this mediocre vacation for a ticket and even at the hotel for all sorts of massages), more expensive than the reputation on Russian sites - there was definitely nothing to discuss here. As a result, even when paying at the terminal, they transferred everything to lira, but not at the dollar rate, but at the euro rate, which once again confirms that this is not a hotel, but a massive scam.

Well, in general, this “Elite” absolutely does not correspond to its price, there are no 5 * there, including because:
• In the room after cleaning, there is a constant stink of disinfectants, apparently it reminds them of a remotely expensive perfume and they do not consider it annoying.
• I already wrote about the cleaning itself - it is not 5 *, just the usual replacement of towels, and even then not all. Tips don't affect anything. It is generally common with them there - a DJ takes money to put on a song and explains that there are no such songs (although he has the Internet), but of course he does not return the money.
• But maybe it's all about the Internet - it's not there at all, it feels like the whole hotel is connected to one home 100 Mbps channel, everything slows down terribly, I turned it off and used LTE, it's not a fountain in Turkey either, but much better than a hotel " us WiFi everywhere! ".

• Peeling wallpaper on the wall adjacent to the bathroom, under which mold has most likely already appeared.
• The installation on the toilet is turned off every other time, and moreover, it can spontaneously turn on the drain! At night, including, and she is only 3 years old, I'm afraid to imagine how these toilets will work somewhere even this summer.
• The air conditioner makes sounds CONSTANTLY, even when it is turned off, regularly it seems like the kettle is boiling in it, if it were not for fatigue from rest and fresh sea air, it would be problematic to sleep there. And here the situation is reversed than with the installation - it turns itself off at night, and does not turn back on when the temperature drops and it is necessary to heat the cold room again.
• There was a very strong storm on January 6, so the wind whistled through the windows so much that it seemed to us that they were about to fall out. In reality, if this is put in Russia, they will simply be torn apart in winter through such cracks. The balcony was flooded with a full puddle of water, there is no runoff.
• The room is large, but empty, there is not much sense from this area. There is not even a bedside table with shelves near the bed, just a small table. Outlets don't all work.
• Despite the fact that the hotel is overcrowded (New Year holidays) and they knew about it very well in advance (already in November there were no free rooms for this period), they did not endure the scheduled repairs - we constantly bypassed some Tajiks laying tiles on the street , the sound of hammers was constantly heard from the room, there was construction debris in the pool, there was such a feeling that we were purple on you, we want to quickly make repairs, while the money was cut down from you.
• In the indoor pool there is a terrible stink of CHLORINE, even at the time of the construction of this hotel in 2016 there were a lot of other methods of disinfection WITHOUT color and ODOR, but the director clearly does not know about this, he has no time, he throws customers for money.

• The sauna is located behind the wall from the pool, but it never occurred to anyone to make a passage there;
• No one cleans up the garbage on the beach, and it's not the season, but it's really rubbish there, the employees work there - they could go out at least once a week for a subbotnik. The daughter played environmental activist and in half an hour collected a huge bag of non-biodegradable trash. There were even syringes! We were in Goa last February, there in Candolim the beach is CLEANER! Goa, Carl!
• The food is very monotonous, there was lamb for a couple of days, maybe a fish day once a week, yes, there were crayfish and crabs, but there is no sense in crabs if there are no utensils for them, and breaking them with your hands leads to an explosion of the contents of the claw in half the restaurant. The children were fed with French fries and pasta with mayonnaise, there was no children's table and absolutely monotonous, at least there were bananas.
• The time for breakfast and lunch is very limited, as early as 11 am you are left without breakfast. Despite the fact that there seems to be a disco there is no place to eat after it for nightly soups. This is such an Ultra All Inclusive Very Very Light.
• There are very few imported drinks, yes, they poured them for me, of course, but most are drunk by locals. And here everything is far from Ultra.
• Most non-restaurant staff don't smile or say hello, it's definitely not even a 4* level.
• I won't lie about bartenders and waiters - almost all of them are quite adequate and positive, but I rarely have problems with this service, I already wrote about it.

In the end, I can say one thing - NEVER go to this hotel! This is a real example of complete disrespect for Russian tourists and money scam in the style of the 90s. At the same time, it is absolutely not worth the money either in terms of infrastructure or in terms of service. It is sold as "Well, it's new! Built in 2016! ", but in the end it is ALREADY falling apart! If you are not going to rest on your last money and they see it, then there is still a huge risk of such a scam that happened with us. I specifically looked at the prices for the May holidays - yes, there are a lot of excellent hotels for less money, which are incomparably better than this under-Elite! I will not write their names so that they would not be considered an advertisement, but they are also in the same Lara (although it did not work in the winter), it costs much less, but it is directly AT A LEVEL better.
