We were there in June 2011 with my husband, 3-year-old son and grandfather, that is, four of us) were also constrained in funds and choice, and in general for the first time went abroad; also scared of the reviews, but everything went fine! Yes, the hotel is small, far from the sea, around the golf course ... But! a free bus runs to the sea every 30 minutes, the food is not very varied, but no one (!!!!, and there were 3 men with me !!!!) I wasn’t hungry, everything was enough for everyone))) The hotel has 3 swimming pools + a children’s pool, a water slide, a free sauna and a hammam playground. We had 2 animators, they tried to entertain both children and adults, free tennis and billiards ... not everything is so scary! don’t try to be positive, it all depends on your perception !!! and take sun cream with you, money for strawberries (there is a plantation next to the hotel, they sell very cheaply) and a good mood)))) have a good rest!
