Kure daglari milli parki

A little information.

Cure National Park, established on July 7.2000, is a national park in northern Turkey. The national park stretches over the mountains of the Cure Mountains and is located in the areas of Pinarbashi, Side, Spanpazaré in the province of Kastamonu and Ulus in the province of Bartin. It occupies an area of .3.

753 ha with an average height of 500 m.

The western part of the Kuri Mountains has been included in a list of hundreds of European forests. These forests need urgent measures to preserve them. The Kuri Mountains are distinguished by their wild nature and amazing beauty.

Most of the mountain range is inaccessible, so it has preserved so many unusual flora and fauna. More than 1.000 different species of plants grow in the mountains of the park. As many as 47 species are listed in the Red Book and 49 are rare species.

There are 132 species of mammals in Turkey. Forty species are in the park area.

Of the 129 bird species within these limits, 46 species are at risk of extinction. It is simply surprising that the nature of Turkey is still preserved at least in the parks.

There is a lot of precipitation in the park area. And so the forests are very dense lush vegetation. Soil structure is karst-limestone.

Therefore, in the park there are many caves, deep gorges, valleys and waterfalls.

Here is the famous Valla Canyon. On the steep cliffs of which you will see proud eagles. Another Chatak canyon is called a natural phenomenon of Turkey. It was supposedly created for people who wanted adventure.

The length of the Chatak canyon is about 14 km. All the wines are in deep, almost impassable gorges. Surrounded by high cliffs and forests. Ilitsa waterfall is located here. Its height is 15 meters.

Ilgarini Cave is known among researchers and speleologists. To the left of the cave were found two temples and 11 graves. There were 3 floors near the graves. Near the graves there are openings, the depth of which is 250 meters. There were also ruins of buildings, various pottery, as well as other objects of ancient life.

You will be amazed by Ulukai waterfall. Its height is 20 meters and the width of the stream is 10 meters.

The highest point of the Kure ridge is Mount Yaraligiez.

The track started from the road, but then it was a normal trail with mushrooms, there were a lot of them, and it was very difficult for me as a mushroom picker not to collect them (collected directly near the parking lot so as not to carry excess weight on my back). Literally one and a half kilometers after the beginning of the stitch came to the first monument - MEDIL MAGARASI

The cave has a total length of 100 m, a ruined church and water basin of the Roman and Byzantine periods, it has water that can be collected, the cave has stalactites and stalagmites plus the roots of trees. Because we are not particularly speleologists did not climb the burrows and did not go far from the entrance.

From the cave to the observation deck of the Chatak canyon, most of the way there is a stitch, which suddenly leads to a wooden deck which is very nice to walk, it's a pity we didn't finish and go to the observation deck with a great view of the canyon.

Admission is paid (it was 3 lira) if the ticket agent is not too lazy to work. There are tables near the terrace and there is water. It is very easy to pass the turn on the trail, there were no markings, but we came out. On the trail and spent the night.

In the morning we went to a picturesque semi-living village, where we had to go first on the primers, sometimes making straight cuts, as a result, went on the asphalt on which we wandered to the waterfall Ilica, 15-meter picturesque waterfall can not be banned IMHO. At the entrance to the waterfall there is a cafe where you can have a snack.

Next on the loaded tracks to the Valla canyon you need to go by road, but it's unbearably boring, so go along the river, keep in mind the trail rests on a landslide and then you have to either go along the riverbed or wade through the thickets, about 500 meters of such entertainment. you can spend the night by the water. The river is shallow in places to the waist. Very wild tomatoes grew on the coast and islands.

Valla canyon

It begins at the confluence of the rivers Devrekani and Kanliç ay. It stretches for 10 km to Jeddah to the north, has high rocky cliffs 800-1200 m high.

The canyon can be passed along the riverbed, but without wetsuits and ropes it is better not to do it. In general, if you have an hour you can try to walk on it.

Above the canyon is equipped with a wonderful observation deck, there is a cafe in the village but did not work.

From the canyon we went to the tastiest part of the track.

The transition to it is not very interesting, some are on a new road which is not on the map, some are overgrown with trails but with markings. The mountain begins with beautiful landscapes that brighten up the part of the road that will pass along the road. In the last village, before going into the woods, I advise you to collect water, but in the ILGARINI cave there are puddles of water and it still needs to be reached.

The path to the Mushroom Cave (Mantar Magarasi) is pleasant and deceptively easy. The cave itself is a very good height of the cave about 15-20 meters. Inside there is a stalagmite in the shape of a mushroom, which gave rise to the names, however, there are plenty of mushrooms nearby, but you must be respectful of one random movement and you can get into some other cave, trekking poles just fell into the ground. Meanwhile, the stitch marked to the next caves leads through a fireplace maze where the previous ease of movement along the trail is not left.

The next dragon cave on the trail can only be seen from the entrance, as it is vertical and ends at the bottom of the lake, but with a hole at the top looks quite picturesque. Then, after wandering along the trail, we go to the ILGARINI cave.

ILGARINI MAGARASI

The cave is 858 meters long and 250 meters deep. The cave has many stalactites and stalagmites, as well as chapels, tombs and cisterns belonging to the Late Roman and Byzantine periods. In the list of world values of the caves -Ilgarini is in fourth place! (Hz from which sources taken) It was inhabited by people 2000 years before the so-called. е.

The cave is really monumental, beautiful and resembles the entrance to the subway, for its sake it is still worth going this route.

After walking around the cave, they set up camp at the entrance, squirrels fell from trees near the camp at night, chanterelles barked, bears wandered carefully down the slope, some robbers from the animal world tried to steal sausage.

To my delight, the trail to Jide (Cide) was marked, I naively thought that if it can not be walked through the woods straight, then that descend from the mountains, though scary, but quite possible. This is where the sights that deserve special attention end. Well, except that you can still look at malyas kanyonu on it arrange rafting in the first half of summer. After that it is better to take a taxi and go to Jeddah.

Jide (Cide) A local seaside resort, most hotels and guesthouses you will not find on booking, but the place is out of season easy to arrange, but there is a place for tents on the beach.

Or it is better to walk behind the hill behind which the bays begin, we, for example, had water and firewood. And mushrooms also grow on the hills. Still, on the very hill above Jide with the flag, it is possible to spend the night in Thai and the view is beautiful, but there is a landfill.

From Jeddah you can go to Istanbul and Kastomonya, find out the schedule in advance, for example on weekends only two flights to Kastomonya.
