Good morning, afternoon, evening everyone (depending on who reads my short story about the rest when)! I rested in Turkey for the eighth time (3 times in a 4 * hotel, 4 times in 5 * and 5 + *, so there is something to compare with). This is my first review. I'll start with accommodation. We arrived at the hotel on 05/06/2017 at 17:00, within an hour we were settled in a family room for a day, because the standard rooms were all occupied. The next day we were settled in Papa Karl's closet (super economy room), we booked a standard room. They apologized very much, but they said that for a day. Super economy room - a double bed and a cot was placed in parallel with it, which folded in half when you sit on it. We slept together in a double bed. It was a compliment from the hotel as it was my birthday that day. There is nowhere to put suitcases, the toilet lid is broken off. In such conditions we lived for two days. On the third day we won a normal room in size, but how we managed it is another story. The guide from Anex did not make any effort to change the room. On the third day of our struggle for a room at the reception, they stopped understanding English, after I said in Turkish that they ruined my birthday, they were completely dumb. On the fourth day, we managed to unpack our suitcases and unpack things, but alas, we did it in vain. Theft thrives in this hotel, they steal from everything: money, perfume, cosmetics, glasses, hairpins, clothes. We are not the only ones affected by the theft. The rooms are cleaned disgustingly, it is clear that they do not have enough time for cleaning, it is necessary to crawl through things in the first place. At best, wipe the floors with a dirty rag. Towels are not changed. Throw a towel on the floor - they will take it away, but, alas, they put a clean one, you run after them all over the territory for clean towels. The air conditioner in the room lived its own life, it looks like he also has a vacation. The territory of the hotel is small, everything is green, and it decorates. The bar is a masterpiece! I'm indifferent to alcohol, I can't rate it. Plastic glasses and wine glasses are not the first freshness, all peeled off, the staff washes their hands under the tap in the bar (just rinses under running water), the counter is wiped with vodka. Now briefly about the restaurant, do not stay hungry, this is the only plus of the hotel, meat - chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, fish, but you need to pay attention to the dishes, a lot of unwashed. Seafront restaurant with a very nice view. The staff at the restaurant is very smart, tried their best. The beach is not big, there is a pier, but there are no stairs to the sea from the pier. The entrance to the sea is comfortable, the sand, the water is clear in the sea, you can see the fish. The only drawback is that the Aegean Sea in Bodrum is always cold, but someone likes it. We swam in the pools, there are two of them, they are cleaned every morning, no complaints. Beach towels are always in abundance, you can freely change during the day. The service in the hotels is very low, in contrast to the Antalya coast, I did not expect this, because Bodrum is a European resort. We did not go on excursions, because in 2014 we were in Marmaris and visited everything we could (Dalyan, Pamukkale, the islands of the Aegean Sea). We were in the hammam, but not from the guide Aneks, because he did not get in touch. Independent visitors to the fortress, entrance ticket 30 lire. Amphitheater under reconstruction. This is how we rested, if you have any questions, I will answer everyone.
