I am constantly writing reviews about my travels, whether it is a hotel in any country, or an independent trip, as well as a business trip.
This time I want to share my impression of staying at the Queens Park Le Jardin 5 * hotel from August 3 to 14.2017.

Like many travelers, I also have to monitor reviews about the country and about the place of residence. After reading various reviews about this hotel, I was driving in some tension.
The past experience of such trips taught me to contact the hotel administration in advance, or directly with the accommodation service.

I was answered by a charming girl Gulchan (G? l? in HEPTEM? Z), who promised to help me. And it did not disappoint - a huge thank you from all of us to her ! ! !

On August 12, we had a family celebration - "Silver Wedding" and asked me to pick up a good room, as well as help our friends who accompanied us on this trip, not far from our room.
We arrived at the hotel at night, so we had to wait on the sofas in the reception. After breakfast in the morning, we went to sunbathe on the sea. At about 11.30 I went to the reception desk to find out if there were free rooms (they check in from 14.00) I was pleasantly surprised that ready-made rooms were already waiting for us on the second floor of the first building, numbers 1235 and 1232. Moreover, the administrator, as if in secret, said: - This is you same wedding? You got good numbers!
We took our things and went up to the room.
The room was not big, but quite comfortable (photo attached). The central air conditioner worked flawlessly. At night, the wife even covered herself with a warm blanket.
As we were told by the tourists who lived in the second building on the 4th floor, the air conditioner could no longer cope there, it was stuffy for them to sleep. Everything was fine with us.
The room has a free safe, minibar, which is replenished daily. It contained 2 bottles of 330 ml. carbonated drinks (mirinda and cola), one of the same bottle of carbonated mineral water, juice in a tetra pack (200 ml. ) and 05, plain water. . Linoleum on the floor, which also pleased, the floor is not cold.
The bathroom had a bathtub itself, which is nice. The bed, apparently for newlyweds - a huge double, was decorated with an ornament from a sheet and lined with patterns of flowers. There was a compliment from the hotel on the table - a bottle of red wine, and a plate of fruit, which my friends and I drank on arrival)))
We were very pleased with the room, without any particular flaws, the only negative is from 23.00 to 24.00 - even with the doors closed, the noise of the disco from the neighboring hotel was heard.
And other tourists with whom we spoke in the hotel, the rooms facing the opposite side were quiet, but they were awakened early in the morning by the cock crows from the opposite hotel.
So, the ideal location, apparently, is not there. ))))


The hotel area is not big, but very beautiful. Lots of foreigners, especially Turks. And this is an indicator of the quality of the hotel. Looking ahead, I’ll say that when we celebrated our celebration in an Italian restaurant, and they brought us a cake from the hotel, we could no longer eat it, and I began to walk around the neighboring tables, telling that we had a holiday and would like to treat them to this dessert.
There were different nationalities there, and only Russian vacationers were sitting at one more table. There was enough cake for everyone, but then when we met in the corridors of the hotel, the neighbors smiled sweetly at us, greeted us both on the beach and at the hotel, they just talked to us on different topics.
That's when I found out that the Turks have a lot of respect for the service in this place.
But let's move on to accommodation, and most importantly to food at the hotel.

Food and drinks.

The main restaurant consists of two wings. You can eat both on the open veranda and in the closed one. It would seem that it could not be better to eat wonderful dishes, washed down with drinks of your choice in the open air ...But everywhere there are pluses and minuses.
Outdoor terrace, subjected to constant terror! As soon as you brought the first plate of hot, and went for salads, fruits and cuts, how do you wonder when you return, who was picking at your plate? Food scattered on the table, though not eaten, but bitten? And it turns out, a flock of nothing and no one is afraid, and in the end, insolent sparrows!
And we had to constantly leave the "on duty", who drove them away, while the rest were gaining their assortment!
Under the roof - it is calmer, but so that it is not hot - it is better to sit in the middle - there are air conditioners.
Food - no complaints! The choice is quite decent, there was even a dietary table.
Fried, boiled and steamed meat, chicken, turkey, veal, liver, fish, different, sometimes not tasty, and bony, sometimes just overeating, tuna.
Salads, seafood, there were mussels and shrimp in unlimited quantities, which in the following days were tritely added to salads and dressings.
A bunch of sweets, it's already a tradition. Canape with salmon, mackerel (salted and smoked), rolls with all the attributes.
Of the fruits were: watermelons, melons, plums, peaches, oranges, apples, green and dark grapes, grapefruit, figs (did not ripen a bit).

For breakfast, you could even put yourself a honeycomb! ! !
In general - food is from the belly!
Whoever wishes - later I will give a link to a video shot by us in the hotel restaurant.
Of the drinks in the main restaurant, it is offered to you (brings the waiter, but you can take it yourself): - crayfish, vodka, cognac, beer and white and red wine. Well, carbonated drinks such as sprite, cola, etc. Coffee and tea - a choice of vending machines, or on their own (a bag or tea leaves) Freshly squeezed juice - 2 euros.
Moreover, the strong alcohol that the waiters bring is poured in microscopic doses. 20 grams each. Therefore, it’s better to go to the bartenders yourself and ask them to pour as you need, or give the waiter a dollar, and they will bring you a “Russian dose”. )))

In the bar near the pool, their assortment is much richer, there is already whiskey, gin, martini, rum, champagne, Baileys liquor, tequila, a bunch of cocktails, popsicles, juices. Everything is as it should be with paraphernalia, lemon, salt, cherries, etc.

In the bar on the beach - from alcohol - only beer, but in my opinion - they have beer, apparently non-alcoholic.
Well, and a bar near the reception - there we took mostly cocktails, almost a full range of drinks.
Although the hotel is declared as "Ultra-All-Inclusive", it is difficult to call it ultra, the drinks are all Turkish.

During the day, you can eat everywhere, you didn’t have time for the most part, go to the beach, they constantly fry something and somewhere or bring it to take away - cakes, corn, ice cream (from 16.00), although there is always a line behind it, but it goes quickly and the portions are huge , bring it to the sunbed and not get dirty - it's not possible. ))) They also bake something near the pool. At beach parties - they put tables with food and drinks on the lawns.
You won't leave hungry! I have gained 2 kg. )))

A la carte.


There are several "A la carte" restaurants in the hotel, in which you can sign up strictly from 9.00-10.00 near the reception. Gulchan writes you down there. But keep in mind that if you stay for 7-8 days, you can visit only one restaurant, if from 10-14, then two.
But even here there are tricks.
In terms of time, we could visit any two restaurants to choose from: - Turkish, Chinese, fish and Italian.
As I wrote above, we rested with friends. We did not go to Turkish, but we visited fish, Chinese and Italian. It's just that friends signed up for two restaurants, and they said that five of us would come, then we signed up for one more (we could also have two). In Italian, at the time of recording, they said that on this day we had a celebration, respectively, a more festive table awaited us.
Without describing the whole menu - I will say - we liked everything everywhere, and even in Italian, a huge portion of excellent salmon, and a cake from the hotel - expressed itself in more than usual tips for waiters.
Although in these restaurants you do not have to pay anything, it is customary to tip for service. We usually left 5 euros or bucks. For alcohol, since it is also of Turkish production, they do not bill.

Beach.

It is spacious, there were always enough sunbeds (with mattresses).
We usually got up at 7 in the morning, had breakfast and went to the beach, we always found ourselves 5 nearby sunbeds, at 10-11 it would have been more difficult, but it would have been possible to pick up and move 1-2.
A bunch of sunbeds, standing on the lawn under the trees, we settled down on them after lunch and afternoon sleep, when the heat subsided on the street. Arriving at the beach at about 16.00 - there were plenty of sunbeds. Beach towels can be changed at least 2 times a day.
But around the pool with sun loungers is more difficult. For some reason, foreigners (from Europe) preferred to sunbathe near it, and not on the seashore.

We were not interested in the pool, but we flew to the SEA! Moreover, about the virus, they just reported that it is easiest for them to get infected in the pool. But everything was calm in our hotel, although for prevention in the evenings the pool was shamelessly stocked with bleach, and during the day, bathers passing by us smelled a lot of it ...
There are a lot of water activities on the beach - for your money. )))
The sea in the morning is just perfect.
Many thanks to the hotel administration for the additional descent to the sea, they made a small bridge. Since the bottom is pebbly, it was just perfect to enter the water along it. But there is also a large pier from which you can dive.
The water is as flat as a lake, clear and warm. The waves were rising in the afternoon. And from the ships passing by, garbage sailed, which upset. Therefore, for swimming - morning - the most ideal time. Having sailed to the buoys, many tourists, and we, just lay their heads on the floats and enjoyed the gorgeous view of greenery, mountains and space! You can lie for hours, quietly swaying on the water - relaxation is complete.
The seabed is not rich, for snorkeling. Several times I saw small stingrays, flounder, and random fish - that's all the wealth. Although I suddenly saw a huge crab near the pontoon of the neighboring hotel.
I tried to catch him, grabbed him for the first time, but dropped him, and then he just didn’t let me grab him, placing pretty decent claws. The width of his shell pulled almost two palms, I have never come across such a big one near the beach.
As before, in my previous reviews I wrote that I always find something “useful” at the bottom. In addition to coins from different countries, I fished out glasses, it says Porsche Design. From Italy. Which my wife immediately took away. If this is not a replica, but real ones, then we recaptured 20% of the vacation))))

Service at the hotel.

Here it is no longer possible to give rave reviews. And the main minus is the cleaning of the rooms. On the first day, blinded by flowers on the bed, going to the beach in the morning, I left a dollar on the bed. Arriving at the room, they saw that supposedly they were cleaning here. The bed was made, but for some reason they took away the sheet with which we covered ourselves, leaving only a hard one, such as a bedspread. Hm.

After a couple of hours, catching the maid in the corridor, he asked us to return the sheet. Dala. The next day, no tip was left. The sheet remained in place, but the floors were swept somehow. Again I experimented with tips, left them on the bed - the quality of cleaning has not changed, the tips have disappeared. I decided not to leave them at all. Sand from the beach kept growing in the corridor. Six days have passed. Bed linen was not changed, the sand was not wiped off. We called the reception and asked how often they change bed linen. They answered in 3 days. Complained that it took six, promised to sort it out. Another day passed - the linen is not changed, the garbage is not wiped off. Already with friends went to the reception to complain. And only after that, having come to dinner from the beach, they changed bed linen and wiped the floor in our rooms and in their rooms ! ! !
In the next 5 days it was changed a couple more times, but we no longer left a tip.
Another nuance of the service simply amused us, as it happened not with us, but with our countrymen, with whom we stopped at this hotel.
They wanted to take the iron after washing to iron a couple of T-shirts and a skirt. Asked at the reception for an iron.
They didn’t give it to them, but offered to hand over things for ironing, they say, all this will cost them only $ 30! Expensive, for 3 little things, they decided, and having caught the maid in the corridor, offering her 10 bucks, they asked to bring them an iron.
She took the money and offered with a smile - I say I will stroke everything myself. After picking up things, after a while she brought them ironed to their room and asked to pay her more for this service, almost the same 30 bucks! ! ! The sum became under forty!
Ultimately, you won’t ask for an iron, so bring an iron and iron it yourself!

Although it still covers poisoning with low-quality alcohol in your hotel, or bought in an official store, if you have a receipt for the purchase ! ! !
Dear Alla, if you are reading these lines, please carefully read the insurance policy yourself. And at general meetings, specify in advance who came to Turkey for the first time.
We have already looked at everything that was interesting to us in the past, and listening in a new way is wasting our precious time.
And buying vouchers from you or on the street, for example, to Istanbul, is twice as expensive, and I don’t see the point in flying on the same plane, living in the same hotels. All this is sold in street agencies, and as the repeated experience of trips both to Turkey and other countries shows, they have an order of magnitude better and better than that of the same Pegasus.

And to dissuade vacationers from visiting a Chinese restaurant, referring to someone else's opinion, is the height of unprofessionalism. It’s worth going there just for the fried ice cream, although we liked all the dishes!

Tours.

We are not the first time in Turkey, and in Kemer. Therefore, on the first day on the street, we booked two trips.
The first is in the hammam. To undergo cleansing peeling, foam massage, simple massage, and for women - cleansing masks.

And the second is the "Aquarium" in Antalya.
He sells a hammam for $10, against $25 in our hotel. And the aquarium is 45, against 55 from Pegasus. For the sake of interest, I looked for the cost of an entrance ticket to the aquarium on the Internet - it turned out that it costs 35 bucks. But you still have to get to it, so the profit of the street agency is not so great.
Considering that we ordered two excursions at once - he gave us a discount for the "hammam" already at 8 bucks for each + masks for wives. .


Having learned that our wives would like to buy leather goods, he accompanied his wife, who helped us bargain with the sellers! ! ! Usually this does not happen, given that they get a certain percentage, but here common sense wins, if we do not buy at a high price, he will not receive anything, otherwise - a guaranteed income! ! ! We are not sorry - but such a pleasant trifle - pleases us, as consumers.

At the Aquarium you are given 2 hours, interesting, but not enough. In an hour we have already looked at everything, the second one was killed in McDonald's, on the street. Although the building is huge, there is a lot more in it, but you just had to buy tickets for other floors yourself again. The cashier speaks perfect Russian.
There is a snowy city (it may be interesting for the Turks, but we already have enough snow), you can visit shows in the dolphinarium, various performances with different animals. Some fancy cinema, etc. But the Turk who met us didn’t tell us about this, it turned out he didn’t speak Russian and English, so we just waited for the return bus.

We didn’t go anywhere else, except for leather, but enjoyed a wonderful holiday and a gorgeous sea!

To be honest, the animators there are rather weak. No, of course, they lure people to different games - volleyball, boccia, darts, air shooting, aqua aerobics, etc. They even award some with medals.
But when they have to work on the stage of the amphitheater - this is from the level of school amateur performances, with vulgar elements.
All animation is in Turkish, a little bit in English and a few words in Russian. When Russian tourists take part in it (for example - Mr. Hotel), the animator asks for help in translating tasks for our participant.

The foam party is mediocre, the girls came out with torches, I think there will be a fire show, and they twisted them in discord, went to a pile of firewood and set it on fire. All performance. Then there was a normal fireworks display. Then 45-50 minutes of disco, where mostly children were raging, and in the last 10 minutes they started foaming. From the disco, you could only look at the "go-go" girls. ))) The next week, they didn’t even go to her.
