I am writing what is called from the wheels, I have just returned from the Shefik Bay hotel, where we spent 14 days. Impressions from the hotel are extremely positive. The hotel is located close to the center of Kemer. The so-called "Kemeri Broadway" is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Upon arrival they were seated immediately. No money was given to anyone when they moved in. When checking in, there were no free 2-bed rooms, so they settled in an apartment, and the next day they transferred to a double room on the 2nd floor. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, bedding and towels are changed every 4-5 days, you don’t have to pay any money for cleaning. The view from the windows is amazing - mountains and orange groves. Air conditioning and TV in each room work properly, there is Wi-Fi at the reception. No one steals anything from the rooms. The staff is exquisitely polite (of course, if you behave like a human being, and not like drunken pigs). The manager - Knight is a very friendly, hospitable person, he solves all problems immediately, no one extorts any money in the hotel. Upon check-out, Knight and the hotel owner personally escorted us to the bus, which was very nice. The food is excellent. A chef deserves a job in a 5 star hotel. The food is always varied, although Turkish cuisine is somewhat specific and unusual for a Russian person, we always ate with pleasure and appetite. Almost every other day they cooked chicken, 3 times there was fried fish, a large selection of very tasty salads, there are always watermelons, plums - in 1-2 days. Indignant at the absence of peaches, figs, grapes, etc. on the menu. I can advise you to walk 50 meters to the nearest shop and buy all this for $ 3 per kg. The hotel has 2 swimming pools with always clean water. There is a cozy bar with a disco, for 3 *** quite decent. Music until 23:00. Loud. At the request of tourists, they can play music for up to 24 hours. The musical repertoire is typical for all local hotels, mostly Russian and world pop, with some good Turkish music included. The hotel does not have its own beach, but you can choose to go to a free non-equipped "people's" beach (400 meters), a beach for $ 2 per day (the same) and "Panorama Beach" for $ 1 per person, with umbrellas, sun loungers and sandy beach (in Kemer, basically all the beaches are pebbly). Panorama Beach is about 1.5 km away, but there is a regular free shuttle bus service from the hotel. The bus interval is well thought out and very convenient (3 trips after breakfast - 8-15.9-15.10-15.2 trips after lunch 14-15.15-15 and delivery from the beach for lunch and dinner). Drive 3 minutes, walk, slowly - 20 minutes). We took the bus to Panorama Beach every day. The beach is served by very cool guys, there is a water sports station (parachute, jet skis, water skiing, banana, etc. , etc. , everything is paid). I want to note that there are no 3 *** hotels with their own beach in Kemer, at least I have not seen such.
In general, out of 3 *** hotels, I recommend Shefik Bay, and for people with big claims, something like Amsterdam Central, Makim, Queen Mary, etc. with 5+***** and corresponding prices.
