We vacationed in this country (although I didn’t really want to go there) for the first time, in past years we vacationed in Spain and Cyprus, that is, there is something to compare with (this was the first mistake). If you go on vacation for the first time, it is better to go to Turkey or Egypt (whatever there is nothing to compare with). We bought tickets from Alfa Travel. This system offers to take a trial week of rest for free (you pay for the flight and meals), almost anywhere in the world. At first we were going to fly to the Canary Islands, but because in August, the peak of holidays and the most expensive air tickets, I had to fly to Turkey.
I have never seen a worse country! Although I will make a reservation, the sea is warmer than in Spain, nature is more beautiful (we were in Kemer) than in Cyprus, but all the positive emotions more than crossed out the negative ones. We do not like passive rest, so we deliberately took vouchers without food, and even more so all inclusive, but again it was our mistake, almost every time we went to a restaurant or cafe we were cheated or tried to do it. What humiliation and disappointment you experience when you have to bargain in a restaurant! And in the evening when you go for a walk - it's a nightmare, they try to drag you into every store or restaurant, when you say (they understand and speak Russian very decently there) that you and your husband - what do you hear - husband - no problems! They cheat, they cheat - we have a wallet for them there - a cattle that needs to be gutted. Turkey is a cheap country - ha-ha-ha, neither in Spain, nor in Cyprus, nor in Sweden we ate so expensively, but I generally keep quiet about drinks, you can only drink beer from strong ones, water $ 1-4. In Cyprus (Ai ANAPA) we dined together for 10 pounds (450 rubles) with beer, in Turkey there was no less than $ 17! Maybe of course Kemer is an expensive resort compared to others, but for a beer $ 3 - in a bar it's cool, if in Spain it is 0.8-1.2 euros, in Cyprus 1.2 pounds! We flew on a plane with a couple who had a rest in 4 * all inclusive, they said that already on the third day they turned up in the restaurant from the same food. I didn’t like the kitchen, they tried to order something spicy, there is no spicy there, and our lame shawarma is a thousand times tastier than there. Of course, you need to go to Turkey and see with your own eyes (after all, people go every year), but with a few BUT:
1-hotel 5 stars all inclusive, away from the city

2-company - otherwise in these 5 * you will die of boredom
3-no more than a week
We had a 3 * apartment with kitchen utensils and all equipment and appliances - the hotel is good, two-room suite with a large terrace, the hotel has a large swimming pool, but we need a hotel to spend the night, I don’t need five stars and intrusive service, the main thing is that it would be clean and quiet and the condo worked, in the second week it dripped, I have never seen such condos anywhere! the last century. Yes, I also want to say that you can only buy excursions on a tour. firms on the street, in no case do not buy excursions at the hotel, exactly two or three times more expensive (and the more stars, the more bred - checked), we were bred at the hotel for a full day excursion on a yacht with lunch and drinks all included at $50, on the street then we saw it costs $25, and without drinks $10. I would especially like to note the boorish attitude of the Russian guides at the hotel, specifically the manager Inna seems to be Kuznetsova her last name, since they imposed food and excursions on us, how rude we were when we refused their services - I am neither in Spain nor in Cyprus nor in Sweden nor didn’t meet in the Czech Republic, and when we refused to buy leather goods in Antalya (because we ourselves were there the day before and bought everything we needed) and were 5 minutes late for the bus, we (4 people) were left in the center of Antalya and left without us, because 30% of us did not have our guide! And we had to get on our own, and the money was not returned, although they said that the excursion to Antalya was free - we only pay for lunch. And so at every step! Moreover, the hotel is bred professionally - we just arrived, they tell us, urgently bring things to the room and go down, we need to discuss the recreation program, otherwise you won’t be able to order anything tomorrow (we haven’t been to the city yet, Prices have not yet seen) Like this. But on the other hand, Turkey has the cheapest excursions, we have visited almost all of them! Maybe it turned out a little incoherently, but if you have any questions, please contact me, of course I didn’t describe everything. And most importantly, how many people and so many opinions, everyone relaxes in different ways, who likes to climb the ruins, who go diving, who lie on the beach all day and sip beer, I don’t impose my opinion, I just described my impressions, maybe someone use our experience. Our guide warned us that it is impossible to judge Turkey by resorts, that Antalya and the entire coast are not Turkey, I will go and see Istanbul with pleasure, but not at the resort.
Masha and Oleg.
