Tell me, tea bags and bagels on the table in the hotel room are free?
living in October 2012 in a hotel in Istanbul, I saw an electric kettle on the table in the room, and next to it were tea bags, packed gingerbread or pretzels. I didn’t use them, since I drink only Ceylon tea, and I don’t use cake, but there is an interest in paying for this. I did not find any information about this when ordering a room on the site.

Coffee, tea, chocolate, sweets and pretzels are a compliment that hotels use for their customers. Of course it's free.
For a fee, usually alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar and refrigerator, there is often a price tag next to it.

It happens that in the minibar there is a choice of snacks - the same "gingerbread and pretzel" :), then a piece of paper with a price tag lies nearby.
I have never seen tea bags for money :)
Sergei, some time ago you asked questions about paying for a hotel - in what currency, by what method, etc.? You are back, how did it go? Did you have any problems in Istanbul?

Yes, it was I who asked questions about Istanbul. It turned out that everything went well, I paid for the room in cash, received a receipt for payment. But: 1). after I twice insistently demanded the issuance of a check-receipt, 2). very reluctantly the employee wrote me a check for payment for the room,3). did not put their signature and the stamp of the hotel on the receipt, which, according to the Laws of the Russian Federation, is not a document. That's exactly what I asked the tourists before the trip, but all the answers to my questions were abstract, and therefore unnecessary. I also want to make a remark to the organizers of this site. You can not allow answers that do not reveal the essence of the problem of the question asked by the tourist, otherwise what is the point of asking them? And I need a check for the payment for a room for the reason that this is a rule of the Law in any normal society. After all, the Turks give a receipt when exchanging even 1 dollar? Issuing. Then why don't they want to issue a receipt for the hotel payment? That's why I asked tourists, because I live in the Rostov region, where there are a lot of Turks - citizens of the Russian Federation.
