Where can I take my mother (55 years old) on vacation in July, where there is no (or easier to tolerate) heat and no high humidity?
Maybe not in Turkey? Surprising for me, but I read opinions that in Egypt, due to the dry climate, it is even more comfortable in July than in Turkey or other countries (Greece, Cyprus)?! The budget is not very large ($ 1600)

Turkey in July is easier to carry in Fethiye, Oludeniz, Dalaman, but not in the specified budget. You don’t have to go to Crete in July - it’s very hot with high humidity, besides, this is not a budget country, you shouldn’t count on decent conditions for this money. Look Montenegro, not so hot and budget. If possible, it is better to go to the sea in the second half of September, because. the weather is more comfortable and the prices are more loyal.

You need the western coast of Turkey, where the humidity is low, the sea is cooler and the heat is easily tolerated, even blouses will not interfere in the evening. Been there 2 times in July. Marmaris and Bodrum are expensive, but in Kusadasi there are good threes or fours.

Dalyan, Davutlar, Guzelcamli, Dikili, Ayvalik, Burkhaniye. It's good everywhere, cheap, excellent beaches, especially Dalyan.

I would also recommend Montenegro, the Slavs live, visas are not needed, planes fly to Tivat.

In my first message, I wrote incorrectly - not Crete, but Cyprus.
You can also consider Bulgaria, a suitable option for a holiday in July.

Igor_m, can you recommend a hotel?

jn2w33ey, I abandoned hotels with stars a long time ago, I became a wanderer, I don’t rest in one place for more than five days, I’m interested in seeing more in the country that I’ve entered, even Turkey or Bulgaria. I travel by car, otherwise there would be no vacation at all. We live, i.e. we spend the night, in motels, guest houses, boarding houses - direct contact with the owner, the solution of all questions and wishes instantly, breakfasts are prepared, taking into account the tastes of the guests (not everywhere), there are no problems with irons and other trifles - everything is there and everything is free. The best of the listed places I consider (taking into account your wishes) Dalyan and Guzelcamly. We spent four nights in Dalyan at Onder Hostel, we went to Guzelcamli from Kusadasi, where we lived in Suer Otel, but there are many inexpensive and expensive hotels, the same boarding houses (you can see it on booking). Gorgeous beach, near Dilek Park, 40 km to Ephesus, an awesome market in Davutlar (nearby), a chic outlet in Sok (20 km). You can talk about Dalyan for a very long time, but it's better to go there. Animation, entertainers, attractions, etc. are not there - only the sea, cleanliness, nature and the necessary set in the hotel. Look at my account - stories.

Yes, a normal budget for two for a week, people, what are you?
Z.Y. Personally, I take my mother only to hotels, only the first line and only with meals.

Pachok, that's exactly what I need! I present these 3 * villas in Montenegro, they are good for young people who are interested in exploring the country, who rent a car and do not stay at the hotel, but we plan to spend the whole vacation in the hotel, well, maybe one excursion.
аватар Pachok
In addition, the generation of my parents remembers very well the soviet holidays "savage" and "in the houses", if they could not get a ticket. He remembers and does not love. Your mother, of course, is young for such memories, but mine ... For the rest of my life I remember how, on our first visit to Turkey, we rode a transfer bus through boarding houses and treshki in the backyards of Beldibi, dropping people off, and she asked me: "Olya , will we also have such a hotel?" Yes, for nothing!
аватар AlterEgo34
Pachok, Olya, can you recommend a hotel in Fethiye?

I am writing from Montenegro, so far everything I see here suggests that the coast west of Budva to the very border with Croatia is resort villages specifically for FAMILY vacations. There are a lot of kids and tourists of respectable age. The climate is mild, there is no heat and humidity, the prices are exorbitant too, if you choose an apartment rather than a hotel. The only inconvenience for mom may be the lack of a private beach at the apart-hotel or private villa.
In terms of silence and comfortable climate, Montenegro wins against the Aegean coast of Turkey.

Montenegro budget of Turkey??????? some fairy tale! if only apartments on the mountain without meals)
аватар ollennka
Apartments - they are all without meals, but there are cafes with set menus for 5-8 euros per person. Montenegro, of course, will not be cheaper than the Turkish "all-inclusive" three-ruble note, but in these "inclusive" meals are sometimes such that they do not fit.

If you are interested in Bulgaria, I can help you find a good hotel within the budget. We've been driving for many years. We like.
аватар PolikSVT
If you have the means, pay attention to Greece) I am a little younger than your mother and I have something to compare with! The islands have a very light and comfortable climate, the heat is almost not felt) I just returned from Corfu, it's just a fairy tale!!!!!!!!

In the area of Fethiye and Marmaris, by the way, there are also many hotels that are not classified as "all inclusive". There are half boards and hotels where only breakfast is included. Foreigners just like this and prefer. Firstly, there is an opportunity to sit in a normal restaurant in the evening and eat something delicious, and secondly, not to overpay for lunch at the hotel if you go on an excursion during the day or sit on the beach all day.
It’s just that our mentality is such that it’s easier to overpay for a tour right away and then not be afraid that there may not be enough money for food.
Of course, the budget for July is not too big, so you can search among budget hotels.
I want to make a reservation right away that Marmaris is a windy region and the sea there seems cooler than in Fethiye. Although on the shore, due to the same breeze, you feel relatively comfortable even in the heat.
In Marmaris, you can see Flamingo 4 * hotels; Green Nature Diamond 5 * (a new "cool" hotel in the very center of Marmaris, last year it was being completed with might and main, I think that next year the price will skyrocket); L'Etoile 4 (in Icmeler, a very pleasant village with a fairly developed infrastructure).

Fethiye: Majesty Club Lykia Botanica HV-1 (in Yaniklar). The hotel is considered to be on the first line, but you need to go to the beach through a small forest with a stream, it’s not particularly annoying. Nearby is the less budgetary and more respectable Majesty Club Tuana Park 5. Both of these hotels are close to each other, but there is nowhere to go beyond their territory, if only to get to Fethiye by dolmush.
It is expensive to rest in Oludeniz in July. One of the cheapest first line hotels is Noa Hotels Oludeniz Resort 4*. The beach is nearby, but it is urban, i.e. sunbeds, umbrellas, deck chairs are paid. Its own beach in the Blue Lagoon, the hotel shuttle bus goes there, but its schedule is not very convenient. Although Oludeniz himself is a fairy tale!

Tuana and Letunia are, if they are good all-inclusives. Unfortunately, I do not know the current prices for them. If you are considering something more budgetary, look at the hotels of the village of Calis - this is next to Fethiye, a few kilometers of the promenade, on which there are hotels of different levels, but there are no 5 * and no alla. And there is practically no Russian speech either.
Comrades, all - it is not only related to the cost! This is a completely different way of organizing TIME. He ran, chose from what was already ready and you can see and smell, sorry, and ran on to do interesting things. Going to a cafe two or three times a day, waiting for an order, waiting for a calculation, not always being satisfied with a dish (and ordering another - again a whole story) - you get sick already on the third day.

How many people, so many opinions. Sybarite Pachok, modest and not picky Poola, semi-ascetic igor_m, almost the same fidget ollennka. And everyone has a good rest, they easily choose a place and conditions for rest. But no one can give objective advice to a stranger, everyone proceeds from their subjective perception. But a combination of different opinions will certainly help you choose a vacation to your liking and the author of the question, and will bring novelty to the minds of Connoisseurs. And no one will be able to convince anyone. ".

Igor_m, I really envy you that you have moved away from package holidays))) I would also like to travel like this and see))) BUT! Every time I don’t bother and take package tours) But I always choose myself, I don’t trust anyone) Although this is a plus))) I’ll be happy to read all your information about the rest)

No labels needed. I organize trips for myself and my family depending on the situation. And it can be 3*, and 5*, and RO, BB and all. The situations are significantly different: if my husband and I are flying together, then the lack of food is the last thing that can scare us. Low-cost, electric trains, 3 * or guest houses - which is convenient, if only to London :))) Thailand is also always without food. But, if with children and pensioners, then without a buffet, I won’t even move. We have just returned with the whole camp from Polyana, and just lucky that we chose the right hotel.

Now, for the sake of interest, I looked through Budva and Petrovac on booking ... Well, what can I say - my hair is on end. Everything decent, which is closer than 400 m to the beach - about 3500-4000 dollars for two with a child for 14 days. Not hotels, but apartments. No meals or flights. Of course, it's too late to look at the end of July, of course, there are sites other than booking. But, comrades, this is still a gesture for resting as a "savage".
аватар Igor_m
Pachok, if this is addressed to me, then I'm sorry. It's not a label, it's a compliment.
аватар Pachok
I'm not offended that you :) Simply, very often tourists are divided according to the principle of which hotels they go to and what service they take. And this is wrong. Since the same tourist can travel in completely different ways! My case.

jn2w33ey, I also wanted to offer you to monitor the Mouzenidis website for several days. Or ask your agent. This season they have very good offers in Greece. At 1600 you will definitely pick up something, and if there is a special offer, then it may turn out to be 5 * in the first line. They have a sale every day for one hotel.
аватар PolikSVT
I just came from Mouzenidis director's advertiser) you can see excellent 3 * home hotels in Pieria, 1.5 hours from the airport. Eden, Aphrodite. Based on BB or HB. All full-fledged ALL go off scale)))
аватар Pachok
We caught Porto Carras Sithonia in September at a very good price from Mouzenidis. There were other interesting offers, but I "sat" on their site for several weeks.

"about 3500-4000 dollars for two with a child for 14 days"
I booked an apartment in Herceg Novi - the nearest beach is less than 100 meters, 50 euros per night for a double room. Before that, I looked in Sveti Stefan, there were even cheaper excellent options.
