It depends on which TO. I booked a trip to Turkey through Coral, and so its rate changes every day depending on the interbank market. The Coral course can always be viewed on the page of their website, which is very convenient. It is, of course, higher than the exchange rate, but it is quite acceptable. They name the amount of the tour package and we pay 50%, and the balance 2 weeks before departure and in rubles and nothing is recalculated to us in a big way. Vika284, my trip to Turkey was fixed in euros 3 weeks ago at the rate of 33.33, today Coral's euro rate is 31.79. During these 3 weeks, my entire ticket has fallen in price by 3000 hryvnia, I pay in hryvnia, and I get my salary in it. As for me, the savings are still there. )

I understand that the exchange rate in Belarus can change, there are risks, etc., but I usually buy a ticket 3-5 days before departure, I always have money in dollars, then I have to change, rent at the purchase rate and pay in hryvnia, and even more, more expensive! It's kind of always annoying, such a big difference.

I am for maintaining the opportunity pay for travel services in foreign currency (after all, auto-green card insurance is only sold in foreign currency). And it’s not about 40 dollars, although if you count, it’s not at all 40, last year we went to Turkey for 2500, this is already at least 100, plus a 10% commission for TA from TO, another 250, decently. Not critical, of course, but I could spend it on myself with pleasure, it's my money, I earned it myself! And there is always such a moment when they say that a child up to some years is free there! For example, recently I read somewhere in the mailing list Egypt for two adults 800 USD, for 2 + 1 -1135 USD, our child is 4 years old, well, I understand that the flight is not free, but it does not cost 65 dollars hotel for a week per person and 335 dollars for a flight, stir up again

If TO wanted to minimize the risks, then they would have written in the contract that if the exchange rate increases, it will be necessary to pay extra, if the exchange rate decreases, respectively, get the difference back - this would solve all the risks associated with fluctuations. Why do they not want to shift the risks to buyers, as is the case everywhere? And the answer is very simple - profitable.
