We rested in Castle on June 14-21.2019. I chose a hotel for many parameters, for a long time and reverently. Thanks to some positive reviews left here, I still decided. We were ready for almost anything, but hoped for the best. As a result: REST SUCCESSFUL! People, why so much negativity? ! Yes, the hotel is not new, the furniture is shabby in places, but I didn’t run around the hotels looking for a broken lamp in the lobby, there is something to do there anyway. For its price category, the hotel is just super, but if you manage to "catch" a normal tour, the price of 60-65k for two per week is very good for him, but I paid more, the minimum price that came across from Moscow on these dates is 47k.
And now to business.
Check-in (all without surcharges). We were not lucky, we changed the room twice, settled on the third. The first time they mistakenly settled on the ground floor, I did not understand why. After they offered a hefty room behind the pool, but had to refuse, he had not seen repairs for a long time, the refrigerator was broken and there was a terrible smell of dampness. The third room - 3rd floor of the main building and "sea view". The problem is that there is no double bed, there are two odnushki next to each other. But it didn't bother me at all. And as if they had not said before - there is a view of the sea, albeit through the pool. Initially, I was afraid that it would be noisy, but my fears were not confirmed, the windows are very good, the whole vacation we slept better than at home, and this is no exaggeration. Thanks to the girl at the reception, she was polite and tried to solve all the problems. It was very pleasant to communicate with her.

Sea. Far from the sea, the minibus goes quite often. We went only once - it was very cold there, although I said that the water was 24C : ( The sea is shallow, my husband did not like it. We spent all the time in a large pool.
Swimming pools: there are two. The main one seemed cold on the first day, and a day later I splashed there with pleasure. For all the days I never came across a broken sun lounger, there were always places, except when a crowd of tourists from Marmaris settled in the hotel, whose flight was postponed. The second pool is small, behind the restaurant. The water is warmer there and it is a little deeper than the main one. But we managed to swim there once, then the sun loungers were removed from there. The water is clean everywhere, it smells a little like chlorine. I didn’t find any broken tiles, no damage : ) There are a lot of ants around the pool, I had to shake them off the sun loungers, but after laying the towels they go somewhere and don’t interfere.
Food: so we didn’t have time to try everything. Surprisingly, everything is fresh and almost everything is edible, but this is a matter of taste. My husband ate what I didn’t eat, soups, for example. There was always either chicken or turkey (a masterpiece is simple), grilled in the evenings, a lot of fruits: plums, pears, apples, apricots, cherries, melons (not edible), watermelons (very ripe and tasty) and some other unidentified, a lot types of cheeses, olives, pickles. If something ends, then report. Sweets are taken out only for lunch and dinner. Therefore, I had to crush them, first the main meal, and after an hour coffee with sweets. In a word - an overeating place, it is impossible to stay hungry. Alya Kart - they took the sea, served the fish that they ate on the buffet : ) Not interesting. The drinks. Coffee machine, teapots and yuppie machine. For lunch, they offer wine and beer in the restaurant, and for dinner at the entrance, non-alcoholic champagne (a nice pop). The bars make quite normal cocktails, there are 4 types of alcoholic and 2 without, but you can ask to mix something of your own. Everything is served in glass.
Entertainment. Sauna, hammam, billiards, darts - free of charge and in any quantity. We didn't go to the disco. During the day there is animation in the pool, but the guests are reluctant to respond to this, everyone is lying down : ) In the evening until Friday there is karaoke, the animator girl sings great. Of the excursions, we went to Dalyan (did not like it) and 12 islands (excellent) from Coral Travel. The price is expensive, but you can take excursions from the representative of Intourist at the hotel, they are much cheaper, he cooperates with the Panda Tour in Sarigerme. Our guide Julia said that the price difference is due to different routes. By the way, the guides at Koral, Yulia and Olya, are very good, they will tell you everything, show you and help you.

Cleaning. Well, everything they say is true. This is the biggest minus. But we did not pay attention to this, did not litter, and "ordered" cleaning only twice. They didn’t notice much difference, the towels were changed 1 time, the second maid asked if the bed needed to be remade. But the soap is not reported, forgot, apparently. The balcony is not cleaned at all. At the same time, towels and linen are clean and white, we came across without any stains. The exception is beach towels, it would not hurt to replace them.
General impression. The hotel grounds are chic and well maintained, wherever guests go. Wherever you look, everywhere is beautiful! The staff is friendly and welcoming, the reception speaks pure Russian, the animator speaks at least three languages, and the waiters and bartenders try to speak something in Russian, it looks nice. And everyone is smiling! Although maybe because we smiled at them. I really liked the lounge area, with lots of sofas and good wi-fi. We caught in the room with varying degrees of success, but everything is free.
Summary. Great hotel. We may even return if we get a good tour, but only at the end of the season, otherwise the sea is cold. Suitable for those who are looking for a calm, beach holiday, silence and normal food!
