Now directly about the hotel: the room was, in principle, clean, but the curtains were dirty, already gray, burnt and stained. This is not fatal, of course, but in a hotel that positions itself as 5 stars, this should not be.
The carpet in the corridors is also stained.
As the hotel guide said - this hotel has always been dirty, this year they are trying very hard, washing and cleaning.
For cleaning, really, there are no complaints.
The waiters in the restaurant are also great, they clean up very quickly.
But the food is very mediocre, very. Perhaps the hotel management is saving money due to the pandemic, I don’t know.
If you remove the olives and cheeses, then the choice, frankly, is small. For breakfast: boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, which alternated with scrambled eggs or croutons in an egg, breakfast cereals with milk, sometimes pancakes. Lunch: one kind of soup. One day I realized that they gave the remnants of yesterday's soup: we came to the beginning of dinner, the container was half full, after 15 minutes there was no soup at all. I also noticed that for breakfast several times they gave yesterday's heated pastries - it just cools down and crumbles.
It seems like a trifle, but unpleasant...
Dinner is a total disaster! More or less tasty dishes (good fish or chicken chops, yes, yes, chicken chops are a delicacy here, they were given 1 time in 10 days and sorted out in 15 minutes !!! ) are sorted out in the first 20 minutes and no longer brought. Well, the queue of 30-40 people is understandable! So if you came to dinner not at 19-00, but at 19-30, then with a probability of 90 percent that you will eat spaghetti or french fries with stewed beans.
Ayran is a national drink, it's just some kind of strategic product here! In 10 days I managed to try it 2 times already! This despite the fact that everyone constantly asked him at the bar!

Here he will sit down near the sun loungers and monotonously says: we have a large factory in Side and a store, let's take you there for free at 20-00, take a look, etc. And so the whole day, 5-6 times on the beach and the same in the hotel. People already shied away from them, cursed, sent... Better "Hot corn, sweet-honey baklava" honestly.

The sea in October was wonderful! The beach, alas, is not cleaned. Urns are removed - yes. But the whole beach is covered with old algae, sticks, stones. There were enough sunbeds, places under awnings too. As with 100% occupancy, this is the case - I don’t know.
Entering the sea is not very convenient, but we did not buy special shoes.
The pool in the hotel is quite large, the area around it is comfortably decorated, this is perhaps the only plus of the hotel. But I'm not a fan of pools.
In general, I cannot recommend the Cenger Hotel Beach Resort & Spa 5 * - Side, Turkey for recreation, not only for more or less active tourists, but also for those who travel specifically for all-inclusive, because. little pleasure.

I don’t know who didn’t have enough food there and who couldn’t find it))) Everything was in bulk and everything was really tasty. Every day fish and several types of meat, vegetables are always fresh, salads are not from what was yesterday, as happens in other hotels. Alcohol is even nothing. Whiskey is local and so-so, but all other drinks are just super!!!
The territory of the hotel is very small, but the hotel itself is huge. There is always something to do and where to sit. Given that the hotel was full, we always found free chairs and sunbeds for ourselves. The beach is a separate issue)))) It is worth a little walk from the hotel and the endless expanses of beauty. The entrance to the sea is very steep, but for those who love to swim - this is a paradise) You won't have to go long.
At first, the room was not cleaned for a couple of days, then I hung a sign with a request to clean the room and almost everything was sterilized for us. Apparently it's because of the covid. But they washed everything thoroughly, even rubbed the balcony)))) We were really shocked))
And another huge plus - the owner of the hotel was there every day. And he reacted very quickly to any slightest remark) I have never seen so much concern for their work.
