Hello. We flew from Kyiv with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. There docking is 8 hours, so we went for a walk in the city. Turkish Airlines provides a free overview of the city, but we missed the time. I advise you to plan your route in advance. There is a metro from Ataturk Airport. The taxi option was immediately dismissed, and they did not regret it, everything was stuck in traffic jams. The city is very beautiful.
Then 7 hours and a tail and we are in Zanzibar. Visa $50, fingerprinted, retina scanned, photo taken for visa. The money was changed at the airport. Course 1dol - 2145 shillings.
Another hour and a half and we are at the hotel. Settled immediately (the hotel was about 8 am).

The hotel area is very nice. Bushes, palm trees, clean. The room was given opposite the reception. The room is good. Canopy bed, we did not use it, there were no mosquitoes. Other insects too. Sometimes a lone ant will crawl. The room has a safe, table, chair, wardrobe, bed, refrigerator, ceiling fan, air conditioning. Plumbing all worked, the boiler for heating water must be turned on independently. Cleaning on demand. Since the room is opposite the reception, wi-fi caught in the room. In general, Wi-Fi was everywhere and even on the beach.
We only had breakfast. Normal breakfasts, eggs, pancakes, stewed vegetables with meat, fruits, coffee. Everything is delicious. From fruits, watermelon, papaya, grapefruit, oranges, pineapples and very tasty bananas. The variety is not great, but they said this is the season now. We went for lunch and dinner with the neighboring restaurants Mama Miya and Baraka. Mostly in Baraka, a little cheaper (you can pay with a hryvnia card). If you are facing the ocean, then go right. These restaurants are just behind the Langi Langi hotel. In general, there are enough restaurants nearby. Soups 5 thousand shillings, 9 thousand with seafood. In the evening in Baraka they put tables right on the beach, candles on the tables. Very romantic. And grilled seafood. Medium-sized lobster 25 thousand shillings, octopuses, fish from 13 thousand. We ordered that they would make fish in foil, juicier. Very tasty sea bass and jack fish (that's what they call it).
If you walk along the beach to the left, there is a shop where you can buy beer (4 thousand shillings, 0.5 l). The market is there. I can recommend a souvenir shop, third from the beach. Very nice seller Kanu. Well resets the price, not intrusive.
If you go even further along the beach there is a Maasai market.
If you leave the hotel gate, walk past the school, there are also shops and a market.
We went on excursions with a guy named John, who introduces himself as Vanyusha. Nice guy, funny. Everything that was stated in the program was everything. There is no hurry anywhere. You can also bargain, especially if you are teaming up with someone else. The first excursion was - Stone Town, Nakupenda island and the island (Prison island) with turtles. The second to the island of Mnemba, they swam over the reef (they are not allowed on the island - private territory).

If you go right along the beach, about 15-20 minutes, behind the fish market, there are two farms with turtles. One state (landmark oval blue billboard), there only to see and feed. The second is private "(landmark white billboard), you need to go a little deeper into the village, there you can swim with them and feed them for $ 10 per person. Time is not limited. If you don’t find it, ask any local where to swim with turtles, they will take you.
In the first days - hold on, there will be an attack of all kinds of offers on the beach, from excursions and minibuses to weed. In a couple of days, you will be remembered and will be less bothered. And in the end, just say hello.
The hotel is located in the Nungwi area. The tides are not so strong. We went for a walk along the beach, 30 minutes to the right and the ocean already goes very far.
Nothing to write about the beach. It's gorgeous. . . white sand and amazingly colored water.
There are no sun loungers on the beach, because of the tides, they lay on towels on the sand. By the way, towels are issued on the first day against signature and on the last day you return against signature. And so every day in the evening at the reception changed to clean.
Road home through Tanzania. Kilimanjaro. They stood there for an hour, people got out and got on the plane. If you sit on the left you will see a volcano.
In closing, I will say. We liked. Nice country, nice hotel with amazing beach, nice people. "Hakuna matata" was felt to the fullest.
