About immersion in the abyss.

Today we got a whole range of emotions - we tried diving!

When we learned that we have a diving route "Embroidery Way", I first looked at the map and thought, where is the liquid, where we need to dive. After all, on the outskirts of Zhytomyr region there are no seas, large lakes.

But it turns out that there is a place here - in Korostyshiv's career.

But first we said goodbye to Zhytomyr, had a hearty breakfast of porridge from iidlo. com, so that we have enough strength before a bright and busy day.

On the route, near Zhytomyr and Kyiv, there is an interesting place - quarries.

Granite was once mined here, and quarries were flooded after mining.

And now there are several quarries here in the picturesque forest. People come here for picnics, swim in the quarry, breathe fresh air and relax in nature.

The rocks here are quite high, and the nature is really beautiful.

From Zhytomyr we took a minibus to the quarries. And there they immediately plunged into the world of diving. First figuratively, and then literally.

Diving is not an easy task. From the side it may seem that it is enough to climb into a black suit, wear a mask and all - swim, now you're a diver. But no. Here you need to first put on a lot of incomprehensible things, understand how the valve works, put on weights and learn to gain height, learn to breathe, and most importantly - learn to deal with panic and water in a mask.

Fortunately, we did not dive ourselves.

Andriy Bragin from the submarine club "Murenac" http:// murenaclub. com.

ua / today was our guide to the underwater world and instructor.

By the way, today we passed the first basic instruction of the Padi system. And that's cool!

Of course, we did not expect to see colorful fish, jellyfish and corals in the Korostyshiv quarry. But for the first training dive - this is a great place. Often the first dive is done in the pool, but it's not interesting. And the knowledge that you now need to dive into a real body of water, still increases the emotions.

First, Andrew told us what signs divers have. Then we put on our gear.

And went on the first test swim. Was it scary? I do. I'm always a little afraid of water, especially when I don't know the situation.

But Andriy took a test swim with each of us, held his hand and showed us everything in detail and told us how to do and behave under water.

After that, we conducted a joint underwater instruction, where we tested situations when the valve falls out, tried to sit on your knees, situations when water falls into the mask.

Damn, I didn't get along with the water in the mask. The hardest thing is to deal with panic. And when water gets into the mask and into the nose, overcoming this panic is just harder.

Underwater, calm and measured breathing are important, as in yoga. And most importantly - do not fuss, focus and do not make unnecessary movements, so as not to lose oxygen.

And after the final briefing, we went swimming.

Although the depth was small, 5 meters in all, I could clearly feel the pressure and temperature difference.

You dive in, you hear your own heartbeat, oxygen comes out of the valve, and fish swim in front of you… I thought there was nothing to look at in a career. And here it turned out to be very interesting.

At the bottom we saw many souvenirs of nature: the trees that are already covered with shadow, spread their branches and are still trying to touch you, an old boat at the bottom, the remains of a stone wall, huge blocks of granite. You sail and feel like a gold digger or at least a pirate of the Caribbean.

We swam for only 30 or 40 minutes, but underwater time is different and it seemed like an hour.

Very cool, though scary in some places!

If not cold water. I would still swim. But I already did. And Serhiyko studied the bottom of his career a little more.

In total, in 3-4 hours we passed our first briefing and for the first time dived to a depth of 5 meters! At least feel a little like Jacques Yves Cousteau!

And after our career we went to Radomyshl.

First we caught a minibus before turning to Radomyshl, and then we caught a trip to the city itself.

Hitchhiking is a great way to learn about local life, to meet people you would hardly meet in everyday life. This time we went with the local prosecutor.

In Radomyshl we settled with our coordinator Ira. And we have gradually begun to immerse ourselves in the comfort of home, we were very warmly received, fed, rested and equipped with the best conditions.

We managed to walk around the city, see some murals and buildings that have remained here since the days of the Commonwealth.

But the most interesting thing in Radomš l will be tomorrow - the last day of our tour.
