We rested in the GoodZone in August 2013. We chose the hotel mainly based on the photos. Huge respect to the people who create these "funny" pictures. The reality is far from the reality that is depicted on them. On several sites, the posted photos depict a generally different, clearly oceanic hotel. The GoodZone is located in an area where garden plots used to be located, it is not easy to find it and drive on concrete slabs. The nearest store, market is more than two kilometers away. The territory is small, limited by concrete fences, guards with weapons at the entrance and exit. From whom is there such formidable protection? Apparently from the local population. Booked a room with a sea view. Upon arrival, we were very surprised that the "sea view" is the view from the front door (in the understanding of the institution's administration). The cost of living, comparable to the prices of Greece this year, does not even include free parking and breakfast. Food is quite expensive, whoever thinks that borscht can be cooked from unfried vegetables is delicious. Waiter service is just not good. Delay for 50-60 minutes from the order, bring a cold dish or the wrong order, "forget" about the change and quickly run away until you come to your senses - this is the norm. When you try to understand the situation from the administration, you will hear: "Yes, well?! ". The beach area of the hotel is very small, the sunbeds are close to each other. And there are not very many people who want to swim in the sea, which is dirty in algae. At first, we were glad that the institution at least provided a pool. But the joy was short-lived, because the pool is very cold. Although the temperature of the water in the pool was constantly written on the fence, 26 degrees, but a specially purchased thermometer did not want to show more than 22-23 degrees. The hotel is intended mainly for parents with small children, so during the day you get the complete feeling that you are in a kindergarten with eternal children's crying, and in the evening there is a feeling of a pioneer camp forgotten in the past. Yes, and parents with crumbs should be pitied, because the tiled floor in the rooms, from which the feet freeze, provides that you should also bring a rug for a baby who does not walk well with you. I remind you that, moreover, a child should not swim in a dirty sea or in a cold pool. Wonderful party photos are events that take place only on Friday and Saturday from 20.00 to 23.00. The rest of the week there is simply nothing to do! Of the three hours of entertainment, two are for children and only when adult activities begin. . . This is where everything ends. From 23.00 everyone goes to bed. I had to eat in restaurants and cafes 2 km from the institution. And who did we meet there? The man who called "master of the Hudson". The next morning after the party, he "soaked" there with beer and boasted of an Italian chef (very revealing about the quality of food in the Hudzone and prices !!! ). The "owner" told the first person he met about a stormy night, during which he "persuaded" his employee to go to the workplace. At a party dedicated to the independence of Ukraine, the "owner" wanted to hear only Jewish tunes. Therefore, all those present had fun only to this music. And he personally ordered a Russian girl who decided to sing karaoke to turn off the microphone. . Being in the Hudson for your money, you also pay for the living there of all the children of the "owner" and his relatives. The fact that it was useless to go to the authorities of the Hudson with the problems that arose was clearly demonstrated by one case. It seemed to the maid that the issued towel was damaged, which she reported to the reception. Three clean towels provided at check out were of no use. The reception staff believed only the maid, and they looked at us like an empty place. The elderly, half-bald lady with bony fingers deftly shoved the 20 hryvnias paid into her purse. When asked to explain why they were taken from us, the answer was: "For beautiful eyes. " A receipt with which one could apply to the court, of course, was also not issued. So, if you want to feel like "fat wallets" from which money is constantly being pulled, not being responsible for the quality of the services provided, welcome to HAdZON!
