We are a Muscovite family. The husband is Ukrainian. My dream to get to Kyiv came true. I really liked the hotel. Soviet-style with a slight veneer of modernity. Very good rooms. We took the block for a family of 4. Clean, all plumbing works great. There was no hanger for towels, so immediately, when asked, they sent a locksmith.

Close to buses, metro. Supermarkets with everything you need. On the other side of the avenue, inexpensive cafes that cook very tasty, at Moscow prices. Breakfast at the hotel is very satisfying, like lunch without the first one. We ate very well and had enough until the evening. Comfortable beds and warm duvets and blankets. They slept like the dead. The heating was turned on in the evening. We got very wet while walking around the wonderful Kiev, everything was dry in the morning. I liked the hotel and the city very much.

Single in a block under renovation. Room area - no more than a kitchen in Khrushchev. Apparently, this is the former kitchen (and the block is a one-room living room). There is no closet, because there is nowhere to put it. The bed was completely dead - they don’t even put this in the country. Replaced after the request with another - heavily used, but without technological defects.

Stayed at this hotel for 11 days. Only pleasant impressions remained. The staff is polite, friendly. The rooms are clean, simple but comfortable. I took a suite, the employee was paid a cheaper room, but it was also decent enough. A separate laudatory song for the hotel restaurant. Delicious, fast. Breakfasts were pleasing to the eye and stomach.

One of the restaurant shifts (unfortunately, I remember only the waiter Anton, and three more girls with him) just worked amazingly! The waiters served very quickly and discreetly, the service is at the highest level! But the other shift is the complete opposite - lazy young ladies who didn't care about customers. Half of the tables with dirty dishes, and they are talking. Well, we were already leaving Kyiv on their shift. In general, my verdict is that you can and should have a rest in a hotel.

The restaurant has delicious food. The rest is rather sad: far from the metro and the center. Although the hotel is cheap, I think for the same money in the center you can find something the same or even better.

Rooms are spacious and good value for the price. I liked the location of the hotel and its own parking. Shared bathroom for two rooms is of course not very convenient, but, again, for such a price it will do. The hotel has an inexpensive restaurant with normal cuisine.

Low cost of accommodation. And the rooms for such a price are quite decent. For an early check-in, they asked for payment for half a day of accommodation, and it doesn’t matter early - it’s really early, or an hour before the official check-in. The hotel is a bit far from the subway, but we had a car, so it didn't matter.

Quite a decent hotel for car transit through Kyiv. Convenient secure parking. Pleasant staff. When trying to pay with a VISA card, it was proposed to pay some additional fee of a few percent - I had to take out cash.

Responsive staff, regular cleaning of the room, convenient location from a public transport stop, you can literally get anywhere. There is a storage room. WIFI only in the lobby, when paying by card they charge a tourist tax of about 1 percent of the amount paid, and if in cash then no fee.

I lived in a hotel for two days while working at the exhibition (VDNKh). Chose a simple single room with amenities per block. Very similar to a room in a pioneer camp. Area maximum 10 m2. In the room: an old bed, a table, a chair, a telephone, a small TV set, a closet in the hallway. The block consists of a corridor, a refrigerator, 3 or 4 rooms, two combined toilets with a shower.

The plumbing is good.
Breakfast was included in the price, but I only took coffee. Firstly, it smelled like buckwheat and meatballs in the canteen. Secondly, the queue is huge. Why not finally make a buffet??
Most of all, I didn’t like that when you check out the room, you have to wait until the floor attendant counts the towels and other junk. I was in a hurry in the morning, so I ran away while the "reception" called the "floor".
Conclusion: if you need a hotel for an exhibition, take a better room, it will do for a couple of days. If you are just looking for a cheap hotel in Kyiv, look elsewhere.
