I would like to describe the story that happened to me in the Chalet Graal medical and diagnostic complex, mind you, the medical one, and not just in the hotel complex. But everything, in order, after my check-in to the room, I found that ashtrays were installed on the balconies, the balconies were fenced off from each other with wooden beams and actually viewed, it was possible to see the neighbors on one side and on the other from many rooms without leaving completely to the balcony. But this is not the point at all, but the fact that, everyone who goes out to smoke, tobacco smoke immediately spreads to neighboring rooms and people who do not smoke breathe all this. I went to the reception and asked to resolve this issue, but time passed, and I continued to breathe this stench. The issue was not resolved in any way, time passed, three days later I asked to set up a meeting with the administration, with the director or deputy director of the Chalet Graal. First, at the reception, they promised me a meeting with the deputy director (the director was on vacation, as I was told). The next day he was at the "meeting", then he did not appear at all at the time appointed for me, and instead of him the hostess sister came to the meeting, who does not solve these issues. On my demand to speak with someone from the administration, finally, a "lawyer" was invited. At the meeting, after I introduced myself, she did not even deign to introduce herself, who she was and what her name was, which struck me very unpleasantly. Having stated my problem and referring to Law n 4844-VI Article 13 In order to protect citizens from the harmful effects of second-hand tobacco smoke on restricting places for smoking tobacco products, I explained that the installation of ashtrays on balconies is a violation of this law and the administration is responsible for its violation that there should be specially equipped smoking areas, and smoking on the balcony should be prohibited. To which this "lawyer" answered me that smokers have the right to smoke on the balcony, and neither she nor anyone else can protect my rights as a non-smoker. Then I suggested that she draw up an act on the harm caused to my health due to forced inhalation of tobacco smoke and payment of monetary compensation to me. After that, the administration proposed to remove one ashtray from the neighboring balcony, but the problem as a whole was not resolved. Smokers, as they smoked on the balconies and smoke, the smell of tobacco smoke is constantly heard in the room. If you are traveling to enjoy the fresh air, then leave these dreams at home, because you will not have to breathe the amazing air of the Carpathian meadows, but tobacco smoke from neighboring balconies. The vacation is spoiled, whether I will come to rest next time - everything will depend on the decision of the hotel owner of the situation with smoking on the territory of the hotel, outside specially equipped places.
