Now food: the usual boarding house food, not a restaurant, of course, but there is meat, fish, chicken, vegetables and side dishes. No one has ever gone hungry. Another plus - animation from morning to 22.00, children's animation, adult karaoke and disco by the pool, darts, volleyball. There was a great company of families with children with disabilities during our race, we still remember our volleyball tournaments with warmth. On vacation, you need to relax, and not walk around with your phone and take pictures of smudges on the ceiling in the dining room and garbage on the beach. Better rooms in building 1, in building 2 older furniture and plumbing. We lived in both. In the 2nd building there are more children, there are 2 bunk beds and you can settle in three. Our daughter found friends there, hung out with them all the time, we also saw a plus in this. Wifi only in the lobby. But for me personally, this is a plus, I work at the computer all day, staring at the phone while I go home on the subway. So I need a reboot, I only reacted positively to this. Oksana, a wonderful female guide, told us about Marat's plants, she sold various oils on the territory and led a free tour. Marat is conveniently located: near the Vorontsov and Livadia palaces, not very far from Yalta. We didn’t like it on the beach last year, some kind of desolation, many cafes moved out, but you can eat everything hehe by the sea and upstairs next to the hotel. The mini-market is expensive, the prices are more expensive than in Moscow. And the last thing: in Marat in the evenings it's fun, dancing, karaoke, parties are different. This is not available in nearby hotels. All the movement at the pool bar. There is no need to look for one negative, we are going to rest and personally in my phone there were amazing pictures of the hotel area, the sea, I put everything on my Instagram stories. And when I read super negative reviews, not healthy criticism, but negative ones, I definitely go to the profile of this person and see that he writes the same review for both the hotel in Turkey and the hotel in Bulgaria. As psychologists say, "You're not talking about me, you're talking about yourself. " So relax and enjoy your vacation. It's all up to us.

Gave for 9 nights (2 adults + 1 child) SEMILYUSK (it is very difficult to call it a junior suite), the same as for Turkey 5 *. Shame, nothing else.
From the airport to the resort to go 2.40-3 hours. At 11 in the morning we drove up to the fence with the inscription "Park Hotel MARAT", met some man with a badge from the hand "MARAT" and showed with his hand where to go. The road from the gate to the first building of the sanatorium goes 500 meters to a very decent hill with asphalt from the 50s, along which it is simply impossible to carry a suitcase of 20 kg (and no one will help you even for money).
After we got to the first building, we were pleasantly surprised (see photo) - very beautiful! We quickly filled out guest questionnaires, in return we received cardboard cards instead of bracelets with a chip (we don’t eat, swim and ride a cable car). They said to come for the bracelets after lunch (14h).
At 11.15 we checked into the room (unfortunately, there is no original view of the room, since there was a night flight and it was simply not up to it, but the photo was taken at check-out) and went to the pool for a swim.
The main area of the pool is 2 meters deep - and not a SINGLE staircase! Have you ever seen this?
After the pool, we returned to the room, changed clothes and gathered for dinner, but found that in the JUNIOR SUITE, which was paid for three, only 2 pillows. On the way to lunch, we went to the reception and said that after a night flight we want to rest - they said okay, after dinner there will be a third pillow. After lunch, we went to the reception (1 building) to get bracelets with chips - a deposit for 1 pc. 300r. Having reached the reception of their building (2), they called us and said that the third pillow would be brought to us only by 21.00, since the maids could not cope (there were 3 of them on 10 floors). WOW! And we want to sleep. The issue was resolved with difficulty.

The child ate only pasta (which is not every day), chicken broth (by the way 3 times a day) and bread - a very successful menu for all inclusive! No beer, white/red dry wine for lunch and dinner. Breakfast 8.00 – 10.00. Lunch 13.00 - 15.00. Dinner 18.00 - 20.00.
Twice I found dirty cutlery and hair in the food, the administrator Maria climbed into my plate and took a piece of food with a napkin to notify the cooks. After that, she developed a prejudiced attitude towards me (she didn’t answer the questions posed; if she did, she spoke in a boorish way; she forbade me to photograph the buffet, and didn’t make any comments to others). In addition, with our family, the administrator of the VIP dining room, Maria, approached the next table and asked three lovely ladies to write more positive reviews in the book of complaints and suggestions (arguing that they were getting bonuses for this). The mirror in the bathroom is about 70 cm away from it, and the second one is in the back room at the level of the navel. That is, there is nothing to look at before going out. They don’t take out the garbage from the rooms themselves (we always had a battery of bottles, see photo), until you also ask (they also ask vacationers and children to give them trash cans... ). I had to buy toilet paper, because it is simply unbearable to use what they provide. The toilet lid closes as soon as you sit on it - you had to stick it with tape! ))) There are no safes in the rooms, only at the reception - 60 rubles. per day (they give the key, the cells are freely available - like at the station). The bed creaks so much that it's impossible to just silently get out of it, let alone lie down comfortably. There is not a single lamp in any room! SAVING ON EVERYTHING!!!
The reception staff (who have been working for 15 years) say that they regularly report complaints to the management, but the management has seen everything!

The choice of this hotel is not accidental, as it is located in picturesque places, 20 minutes to Yalta by transport, on foot you can walk to Mount Ai-Petri and the Vorontsov Palace (2.4 km), 2 hours to Sevastopol by bus, you can walk to Yusupov Palace and the Palace of Countess Panina. If you like hiking, you will get a lot of pleasure walking through the park, filled with the aromas of different plants and the sea.

They settled us in the sanatorium within 10 minutes (the young man at the reception was polite), took into account our wish. The room matches the description on the site. The impressions from the rest are the most positive, thanks to the hotel staff, so to those gentlemen who write that it’s expensive and everything is bad, I personally can say that only cheese in a mousetrap is cheap, keep in mind that some rooms in the Marat Hotel are, well, a maximum of 3 stars, and therefore, in my opinion, the price and quality here are quite adequate, all the conditions are spelled out on the site.

At the reception they were very hospitably greeted, issued quickly, thanks to Maria. We lived in building number 2, in a 2-room junior suite, there is no European-quality repair, of course, but the room is bright and clean, price-quality ratio.

The kids loved the playground and the mini disco in the evenings. Large swimming pool, its own cable car to the sea, the area is green and quiet. There was one minus: there was not one towel in the room, but this little thing was quickly fixed.

With the beginning of the season, those living in standard and comfort rooms eat in a separate dining room about 200 meters from the first building. Meals (buffet) no frills, not varied, coffee only in the morning. For dinner from drinks: tea, milk, kefir. For my taste, the food is average. VIP residents eat in the first building, where the menu is a little better + wine. The beach can be reached by cable car (300 meters from the hotel) from 8.00 to 19.30 + lunch break. Cable car and sun loungers are free for hotel guests. On the cable car pass on the bracelet, and on the beach for all free. Wi-Fi in the lobby, outdoor pool and beach.
