Almost all my life I lived in the Crimea, but NEVER rested in the Crimea as a tourist! : )
After all, it’s like with the natives - you see all the charms of the Crimea only when guests come to you and you show them our local beauty.
Well, here I myself had the opportunity to be in the shoes of a tourist and feel for myself all the delights of a holiday in the Crimea.
Through friends, I learned that there is such a Private cottage village "DIM" in Koktebel. And I settled there for five days.
I will try to describe the pros and cons of staying in this place point by point.
This cottage settlement was built in 2007 and is still relatively young and not killed by our domestic tourists : ) (somewhere in Egypt during this time nothing would have been left of its pristine purity : ) ) )
He has several owners, each of whom owns several rooms.
This reminds me of how in Bulgaria many of ours buy out studios in hotel complexes, and then rent them out to tourists.

One could recall our saying that "seven nannies have a child without an eye", but no! It's all right with that.
LOCATION. This is one of the main advantages, perhaps. Cottages are located right on the seashore, just behind the fence of the complex (the territory is fenced and guarded - this is another plus! )
Thus, to the sea to go 1-2 minutes in total! : )
To the left of the cottages is a magnificent view of the bay with Cape Chameleon, which changes color several times a day.
On the right is the famous Kara-Dag.
Directly on the course (if you face the sea) is the hill in which the founder of the Koktebel estate, professor ophthalmologist Eduard Andreevich Junge, his sons and grandson are buried. Our tourists have chosen this hill as an observation deck.
Especially those who on the sly want to look at naked vacationers on a nudist beach - and this beach is right behind this hill. And this is also one of the attractions. Especially during the traditional jazz festival in September. One of the scenes will be right on this beach.
Another plus of the location is the beginning of the Koktebel embankment. For 15-20 minutes walking, you can walk the entire embankment. But the beginning (or vice versa, the end? ) is right here.
In principle, the famous water park, the dolphinarium, the house-museum of Maximilian Voloshin are within easy reach - everything is nearby.

Another plus is a guarded and fenced area, as I said. Therefore, there are no strangers here. There is a lot of greenery on the territory itself: grass, rose bushes throughout the territory. Clean and tidy.
Free secure parking - if you come by car, you can not worry about the safety of the car.
There is a swimming pool on the territory of the cottage settlement.
I remember how Americans who came to visit me joked about such paper. For a long time they could not believe that it was actually toilet paper, they thought that they were being joked with : )

Further. Another minus. I spilled some sweet tea on the kitchen table the night before. The next morning, dozens of ants arranged a feast around this spot. It was worth wiping the stain - the ants no longer showed up.
Another little thing - there was no lamp above the table. In principle, there was enough light in the room even without it, however ...it should be! : )
And one more thing - a lamp hangs over the mirror in the bathroom - a fluorescent lamp. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to turn it on, because the switch was hidden somewhere in the depths of the wooden case.

That's probably all the little things. Of course, they have no fundamental significance - in Egypt it happened even worse.

Yes, another plus...
Many rooms belonging to the same hostess are decorated in a designer, author's manner. One room - in a marine style, the other - in Japanese. The third is in the Provence style, etc. The hostess is an interesting, unusual creative person. Unusually, she even has a name. Her name is Ludwig. Like many Crimeans, she has a mixture of different bloodlines (both Greek and Polish and others) - hence her creative abilities, intelligence, and I would say, some kind of noble demeanor - like in old noble families. . We got to know her and talked. She even took me to show her house (which impressed me pleasantly). I don’t know how she manages to combine her creative nature with a business approach ...But she succeeds. In a word, she belongs to the category of people who do business "with a human face" and create a reputation for themselves so that this business (and this name) can be used by her children and grandchildren.
And I really, really like this approach.

Well, let's go back to the hotel. You can come here as one or two, or as a whole company, even from 5-7 people (there are also rooms where you can sit all together). By the way, it is better and cheaper to travel with a company, for example, from neighboring Feodosia, from the bus station: for example, the four of us chipped in for 25-30 UAH and you can take a taxi.
Here I take from their site: "For whom is a holiday with us suitable?

For couples.
For families with children.
For companies with several people.

For those who want to get to the traditional jazz festival in Koktebel.
For creative people interested in the literary heritage of the golden age of Russian poetry.
For those who like to relax on a nudist beach (it is located in close proximity to the cottage village)
For everyone who loves the sea, good rest and amazing surrounding nature! "

In a word, personally verified - I recommend to rest.
