Overall impression:
Not suitable for families with children under 7 years old !! ! We felt like uninvited guests at someone else's party. The hotel did a lot to make us suffer, and even what to do was not at all necessary.
But for an adult and modest person in life, hardened by Soviet reality, not afraid of petty hardships and neglect, not spoiled by foreign holidays - all shortcomings will be compensated by excellent excursions and guides, chic nature, as well as homemade food.
Keep in mind that 90% of excursions require additional payments for all sorts of "environmental fees" so that the failure does not fail. Some "tickets" cost more than 1000 rubles. On average, per person per week, you need to count another 3.000 for surcharges.

In general, for an “outbound” tourist there is nothing in Crimea for which it would make sense to go there, for the price that is asked for him (taking into account the cost of the flight). The region is depressive (the opinion of the locals, and I agree with them). But the Yalta KG hotel is one of the best options if you are not with small children and the main thing for you is to climb mountains and look at nature.
I brought all our claims to the hotel management. They promised to post additional information on the site for tourists with children, indicate additional fees for each excursion, correct shortcomings, and even offered compensation. What do you think, which one? ? That's right - come again with a 15% discount
Advantages:
1. The rooms are good, given the tourist orientation of the hotel (but extremely cramped and ascetic)
2. Food is homemade and quite varied (the best we have seen in economy resorts)
3. Wonderful excursions and guides (but the impression is greatly spoiled by management)
4. The location is convenient enough for independent walks
5. Not bad by Soviet standards staff (but only until you ask a non-standard question - then all the depths of Soviet upbringing are revealed)
Disadvantages:
1. There are formal age restrictions on many excursions - children under 7 years old are not allowed into some parks.
2. On most excursions there are additional fees (tickets, ecological ones, so that the failure does not fail, etc. ) - about 3000 rubles per person per week.
3. Excursions are often canceled due to a shortage of the required number of people, and inadequate replacements are offered.
4. Sometimes Alexandra's manager deliberately dissuades tourists from excursions that are unfavorable for her, and also artificially blocks recruitment for them.
5. In a week, they turned off the water (all) twice without warning, once for half a day - wash yourself with water from the cooler. After the fact, it turned out that information about shutdowns is published on the website of the water utility, but hotel managers do not bother to bring it to tourists.
6. The ugly work of the "shuttles" to the beach and the embankment - there is a schedule, but they do not follow it, they leave EARLIER than the agreed time. This is especially “pleasant” before long breaks or the last flights.

7. A bunch of small problems will not be solved by the hotel, for example, the banality “where can I throw away a bag of diapers” will meet with surprise and misunderstanding - turn around as you like, look for containers in city blocks.
