We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of July 2023, for a couple of days. The first negative point was the visit of the maid in the early morning. On the day of departure at 9 am, the maid knocked on the room just to clarify whether we would extend our stay or move out. With her visit, she woke up the children and stunned us with her incomprehensible visit and incorrect behavior. The worst was yet to come. We got ready to go to breakfast before leaving, collected some things and took them to the car. Returning at about 10.30 am, we found an open room, already cleaned for the next guests. I draw your attention to the fact that the checkout time is 12.00, that is, until 12.00 we paid for the room. To say we were shocked is an understatement! This is the first time we've encountered such an attitude!
The most outrageous thing was that our things left in the room were not just in one place (such as the place of forgotten things), but they had already been taken apart by the hotel staff, apparently distributed according to need. When asked to bring our things, we were told that there was only one box left, which is currently at the guards. They couldn't offer us anything else. We were outraged. We had no choice but to remember together with the children what was left in our room at the time of leaving for breakfast. We called things from memory and they brought them to us with a displeased look, and they brought them from different places: the flowers given to the child for his birthday were on another floor, stood on the table, already delighted the staff; the sports bag was with the administrator (apparently she liked it very much); a box of sweets for a child - a birthday present, was found in a completely different place (apparently, someone also decided to drink tea).
Then it was even more interesting - on the request to return the balloons, which the child remembered, which were also presented to my daughter for her birthday, they refused us, saying that they had thrown them away. After the arranged scandal, some of the balloons were miraculously found, and they returned them to the child. I can’t help but note the fact that we were gone for about 30 minutes, that is, in 30 minutes they managed to sort and distribute all the things left in the room, clean the two-room suite and throw out the balls. One gets the impression that they were watching when we left the room in order to immediately go there. This mess! Again, we have never seen anything like this. Apparently it was not in vain that the maid came in early in the morning, clarifying our plans. Subsequently, there was a fear that even at the time of our stay, when we went out for a walk around Yalta, they could enter the room and take things.
At that moment, living in a hotel that inspires confidence at that time, the thought does not come to keep an eye on things in the room and check the amount of money. We came to rest. To be honest, it still doesn’t fit in my head that in this kind of hotel, positioning itself as a high-level hotel, it is necessary to check money and things.
Of the minuses, I would also like to note the terrible parking lot, where there is critically little space for parking and a normal exit.
Of the pluses, perhaps only the location is possible, close to the embankment. But again, this is a plus only for those who like this kind of hotel location. As for us, this is far from the most important factor in choosing a hotel for recreation and accommodation. We love to walk a lot. Here the choice of the hotel was based on the presentability of the hotel, but as it turned out in the end, we made a mistake with the choice. For ourselves, we consider important the comfort of living and friendly people who welcome guests of the hotel.
It's great when you have pleasant impressions about hotels where you want to return.
DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL!! !

We stopped at this hotel by accident. So, we got to the hotel, it was getting dark. Of course, prices have risen a little over the year, but not critically. There are rooms with a sea view, and there are cheaper ones with a view of the cable car. They settled us in a standard room, our friends had a junior suite. Our room had everything: cable with 60 Russian channels, a safe, Wi-Fi, a shower with a radio, a kettle, cutlery, a microwave, a huge refrigerator, a huge bed, a sofa bed, an iron, a hair dryer, a balcony with a table and wooden chairs. The junior suite also had a small kitchenette, but we were satisfied anyway, it’s much easier to please us))
Unfortunately, the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, but this is not essential, since the nearest cafe is within walking distance. The next day, we immediately went for a ride on the cable car and discovered the Cousteau restaurant at the top of the cable car, and in the evening we chose the traditional promenade along the embankment, which is separated from the hotel by several steps and intermediate cafes "Marina" and, it seems, "Victoria". In "Marina" the portions were not for children, but "Cousteau" was remembered for its Italian menu, cheese plate, Crimean bottled wine with a cork stopper, excellent view from the terrace and impeccable service.
In the afternoon, the hotel booked an excursion to Massandra, I also wanted to go to their hair stylist, but there was about half an hour left before the excursion, and we gladly went to take pictures in the hotel's winter garden.
Marble stairs, high ceilings and other aristocratic surroundings made us think about the date of construction of this hotel. It turns out that it was built already in 1875 and was called Russia. I think that only the hall and white marble stairs remained from the old building, it’s a pity that the name has not been preserved, and it’s a pity that the vacation flew by quickly . .

We booked a room in advance, chose on the Internet on the hotel website. In fact, this is not a hotel, but apartments for rent with different owners, but managed as a hotel by a single management. In fact, this is not a hotel, but apartments for rent with different owners, but managed as a hotel by a single management. The prices for all rooms on the site were the same for all 4-bed rooms (as it turned out, regardless of the condition of the room). So, the apartment that we eventually chose (No. 314) was not just overpriced, they do not even come close to the declared level of the hotel. Non-working and shabby plumbing, not a single (!!! ) chandelier with all working light bulbs, the door in the bathroom that does not close (this is in a 4-bed room! ), lack of WiFi, poor soundproofing of windows (road noise, drunken laughter and swearing from neighboring balconies do not contribute to relaxation), a small set of dishes (I had to adapt a bottle of yogurt for sugar). All this became clear after the settlement, of course, this is not visible in the photographs on the site. This is all in a room for 6000 rubles per day (the price is high even for Moscow). The staff also has an ambiguous impression - some seem to be ready to help and respond to requests, others are openly rude. But even taking into account the fact that they are ready to help you, an unpleasant impression remains - many of the jambs that I pointed out to them and with which they agreed and tried to eliminate could be eliminated in advance , the fact that a single set of bed linen was issued for a double bed could also be tracked before check-in, etc. ), and not wait for a disgruntled guest to come to you. I also found out about the accompanying WiFi after checking in, and they told me about it with a laugh - of course not, but what were you waiting for ? . It also seemed strange to me immediately upon check-in that we were strictly pointed out that "you cannot fry fish in the room. " We wouldn’t even think of such a thing, but judging by the contingent of vacationers, this is not what happens in the rooms of this hotel. . . The hotel is located almost on the embankment, but not on the first line, at the bottom platform of the cable car (did you watch the movie "ACCA"? In it, in the scene when the main characters climb the cable car to Grebenshchikov's song "Under the blue sky there is a golden city. . . " the hotel flashes in the background). Pluses - close to the embankment, but the windows overlook the road, so you can not hear the music from the embankment; - a historical building (although this fact in itself does not affect anything); - its own parking. Cons: - shabby room, - non-working plumbing, - poor soundproofing of windows, - lack of WiFi; - inflated prices for rooms; - rude staff; - incomplete set of dishes in the apartment; - far from the beaches. Conclusion: categorically do not recommend for a normal family holiday.

No breakfast, not even a water cooler in the lobby. There is no internet in the rooms either - it is available only in the lobby. The room overlooked the road where it was noisy even with the windows closed. The man representing the administration is rude, shouting and very aggressive. When moving in, they promise one thing, take the money, and then they are cunning and say that I'm sorry - you didn't understand us. … More ▾ No breakfast, not even a water cooler in the lobby.
