In Bukovel (the village of Polyanytsya) the conditions are excellent, the slopes are difficult for skiers from beginners to pros. A very picturesque place. Lots of lifts and trails. Getting to Bukovel and leaving from there is easy, minibuses go very often towards Ivano-Frankivsk and Yaremche. Accommodation prices vary. As a rule, daily free use of the sauna (1 hour) is included in the price. You can save money if you rent equipment somewhere far away from Bukovel itself. The main disadvantages: bad roads, very expensive food, even in Bukovel stores food is more expensive. Everything can be viewed and ordered on the website: bukovel.com

Bukovel is considered an expensive resort. The slopes there are different, but most of them are not for beginners.
If you are just starting to ski, I advise Migovo. The slide for beginners is excellent, the prices will pleasantly surprise you. I wrote about it here http://www.turpravda.ua/ur/migovo/blog-107581.html

Bukovel is expensive. Want cheap and cheerful - Vorokhta. And the trails are simple, and the prices are smaller.

And what is Vorokhta. Are there trails?

I looked. There is.
I think - Migovo - all the same - better.
The infrastructure is good there, and the tracks are better for beginners.
Vorokhta - I think for those who will travel to Bukovel or Dragobrat, and sometimes they want to stay in a hotel and ride nearby .....
My opinion.

My wife and I started our ski history in Vorokhta. There was one track with a drag lift to Mount Rebrovach. The track is quite difficult, not for beginners. And I had to look for different opportunities for learning. There are no problems with instructors. And then they made a small hill with a lift there and everything was just fine! There is an opportunity to exercise, there is an opportunity to try yourself on Rebrovach. We did just that. And when they came by car, they still stayed at the "Hatki on stumps" hotel, took skis in Vorokhta and went skiing to Bukovel. It's 20 miles there and 20 miles back. But, even taking into account the cost of gasoline = 40 km * 7 days = 280 * well, let it be 8 liters per 100 = 22.5 liters * 20 UAH = 450 UAH, we are left with a bonus - since housing in Vorokhta is cheaper! Rental is cheaper! (I can give Roman's address at the box office). Lifts in Vorokhta are generally a SHAR!!! So think. Follow my link for more details. Good luck .

Pylypets, Volovets, Slavske. Easy to get to - train close. Not expensive. Enough trails for beginners. I do not recommend Bukovel for starters. Expensive to study there (you want to save money). And learn, next year - Bukovel. Then another year Bukovel. And there, as it drags on - and you will get to Austria))) (all from personal experience)

I can also advise Vorokhta. I don’t know how it is now, but three years ago it was saved by the fact that they made snow, and we went there for 80 km, because at +5 it was the nearest track (mountains are all around, but snow is not everywhere).
