cleaned. Air conditioning, safe, refrigerator - everything worked. The bed linen needs updating, but everything is clean. Towels were changed every day,
2 bottles of water (1.5l) and changed the pillowcases every other day.
The cleaning was good, everything was clean, although they only twisted the elephant once and put flowers, but thanks anyway, we were pleased.
The service at this hotel is beyond praise; we have never met such polite, friendly and helpful staff, and most importantly - not intrusive.
Everyone smiles and tries to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. In the evening there is always live music and shows.
There are many pools of different depths, including a Jacuzzi. Various aqua aerobics during the day)
We liked the cuisine; you can choose food to suit every taste. There are always several types of beef, chicken, and fish; lasagna, pasta, cannelloni, pizza,
a lot of raw and baked vegetables, herbs, salads, legumes with different sauces. As usual, for breakfast there are yoghurts with jams, omelettes and pancakes, croissants, sausages, cheeses.
A lot of different sweets, jellies, soufflé s, meringues; The meringue pie was lovely and the mango quiche. Personal respect to the cook!!!
Every evening there is something on the grill: chicken, kebab, fish, liver, cutlets. Once (in a week) there were quail, duck, squid and king prawns.
Side dishes also include fries and baked potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes and much more.
Fruits: oranges, apples, guava, melon, pomegranate, bananas, dates.
There are coffee machines everywhere, so excellent natural coffee. The wines are delicious, there is a large selection of cocktails. Delicious mango and strawberry fresh juices - 2 euros.
The sandy beach is simply huge, there were always free sun loungers, even in the 1st row. There is a rocky entrance into the water, and there is a very smooth one closer to the pontoon with silky sand.
The sea and the reef itself are of indescribable beauty! We saw turtles, octopus, many different types of fish, even a reef shark). We didn't see any dugong this time, we were lucky in Fayrouz.
We were very pleased with our vacation. The hotel is fully consistent with the price-quality ratio. It is clear that the hotel is being renovated and updated, of course not all at once.
They are improving the paths, replacing all the benches with new ones, planting palm trees on the beach and improving the relaxation area, renovations are underway on the 2-3 floors above the main restaurant, etc.

vacation real. Germans, Poles, Czechs, Ukrainians, Russians have a rest, the attitude towards all is the same.
Well, the most important thing for which they go to Mars is the underwater world, who knows how to swim well, he will not be disappointed, each dive will surprise with something new, it is necessary to take a diving mask. And who swims uncertainly, I advise you to go 800 m north to Abu Dabab Bay, there is already a reef from the shore and colorful fish will circle around you.

Accommodation and room: The hotel was about 8 o'clock in the morning. We were immediately offered breakfast. After breakfast we settled in free of charge, the only thing we had to wait for a change of room at our request (from the 1st floor to the 2nd). Room in the 1st building, small, with beautiful sea views. Do not expect special luxury. The repairs are old, but that's not the point.
For a comfortable stay there is everything you need: a balcony with a fabulous view (table and 2 chairs), 2 beds (we immediately moved them together), bedside tables, table, wardrobe, TV (not watched), air conditioning (not used), safe, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, water (replenished daily), mini-bar (paid). The bathroom has a small hair dryer, from cosmetics only liquid soap in the dispenser (take everything you need with you). The cleaner cleaned well, replenished the water every day, asked if we were all right in the room. In my opinion, there are 2 problems. First: a room next to the diving center, in the morning you can hear the clatter of diving balloons, you will not be able to sleep for a long time. Second: very evil mosquitoes. It is good that we brought a fumigator with us, only it saved us from eating completely. Internet is free throughout the hotel, but weak, who needs to work, it is better to buy a local card.

Once we had dinner with quality cooked seafood: crabs, shrimp and squid. In the evening they cook something on the grill. I want to praise for a corner with lots of spices and sauces to choose from. There is always a chef in the restaurant.
They went for drinks themselves, because the waiters are busy due to the large number of visitors.
You can have lunch and snacks in the "Panorama Bar". This is for those who love fast food. There is free ice cream.
You can sign up for a reception at an Italian restaurant on the beach for dinner. We went once, nothing special.

If you sail north along the coral reef, the colors become bright, the architecture and palette are diverse. The underwater world is rich. In addition to the bright "trifle", the group, tuna, stingrays, lionfish, flute, acupuncture, titanium spinors, rhinos, arotrons, pseudo-ballists, barracudas, crocodiles, cuttlefish and a flock of mackerel on the hunt. I was very lucky with the weather, it was a storm for only 2 days, even then it was possible to swim, although it was muddy.

Of the "minuses" I note the lack of fumigators in the rooms in the presence of a huge number of mosquitoes, lack of shampoos, balms, the need to repair rooms and renovate the paths between buildings, lack of staff in the restaurant. The main thing you need to understand for yourself if you choose this hotel is that it is not a luxury resort. This is a 4 * hotel: small rooms, modest area, the usual Egyptian architecture, a small selection of dishes in the restaurant. Don't expect anything special. This hotel is also absolutely not suitable for families with children (no smooth sandy entrance to the sea, no infrastructure, no entertainment). Most vacationers are divers, surfers and kitesurfers from Europe.
Among the "pluses" I will highlight the beautiful location of the hotel for snorkeling and diving, a cozy room, excellent service, healthy food, fun and a good diving center. The sea did not disappoint, and I have something to compare. The hotel left a very positive impression. I would like to come back here again.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 am. They asked for building 1 and floor 2. The manager said to come at 9.30. Immediately fins in hand and into the sea. In the lobby bar, at such an early hour, they drank a delicious cappuccino from the machine. To the right of the beach there is the South Island. In the morning there is complete calm. We swam around, met 3 turtles, a lot of fish, took pictures. For breakfast and at 9.30 we were handed the keys to the room. We were pleasantly surprised by such punctuality!
To the left of the beach there is a good reef. Right in the shallows, a kindergarten, all kinds of children of the Red Sea fish, I saw an octopus.
To the right behind the pontoon is a kiting bay. Turtles and stingrays graze there in the morning. We swam from 6 in the morning, there were no waves or wind. The water was clear. to go to the growing moon. We were a little unlucky. Calm and clear water were only in the morning.
But the main reason why we flew here is the dugong on the hotel's house reef! They say he moved here from the bay of Abu Dabab.
We looked for him for a long time in the mornings. We didn’t find him. Then we turned to the dive center. We were told that he usually sails from 14 to 16 hours. At this time, we found him 2 times. The second time it was just us and him! at a depth, we managed to take photos and videos. Complete delight! Our dream came true!
We went at 6 am to Abu Dabab. Walk 20 minutes. Along the way, you can go to a new pontoon in 10 minutes. walk from the hotel. The beauty is indescribable! Then we specially went there and swam along the reef to our hotel. Abu Dabab is a must see! Super! Fearless fish of all sizes and colors, moray eels, turtles, eagles, squids and beautiful corals! Shine! Buses with tourists arrive at 8.30 and the kapets begins! At this time, we went to the hotel. In August, we rested for the first time. We really liked the warm water in the sea. Finally, we did not freeze. The heat did not bother us at all. We were at sea all the time.
I really liked the service, the food, the hotel room. All questions were resolved instantly, they met each other halfway. For the first time we meet such a wonderful attitude towards our tourists. There was animation, we didn’t go, we got tired of swimming. put on silver bracelets for regular guests. I didn't understand why. Who is the first time - yellow bracelets. Reds are alcohol-free.
On the beach to the left of the pontoon, you can just swim, clean sand in the sea, no corals.
We were alone from Ukraine, mostly Germans. I used Google translator, I speak and understand English not very well.
We will definitely come back to this hotel! There is still so much to be examined. A week was not enough!

Only foreigners rest in the hotel, there are no Russians. There is no animation. This place is ideal for people who want peace and quiet, as well as divers. (We knew why we were going, so we really liked the rest). The sea here is really amazing. There are practically no people on the beach. because divers go to sea early and return only at 5 o'clock. The food is very good (probably because there are few people). The smaller the hotel, the better the food. This has already been proven. They gave meat, and chicken, and fish, a lot of fruits. In addition to the sea and the sun, you will not find anything else here. Of course, you can go on excursions, but since you are farther than all the resorts, you will spend more time on the way and are unlikely to enjoy. Last year, we booked an excursion to Cairo by plane, so we were still taken to Hurghada airport, and not Marsa Alam airport (the difference in the road is 3 hours to Hurghada versus 30 minutes to Marsa Alam). So take your mask, fins and get ready to lay on the beach for the whole trip.
