The hotel is very suitable for this. The village in which Estival is located is called La Pineda (3 km to Salou), pinus in Latin is pine, as the name implies, it is all surrounded by pine trees. The hotel has an excellent location for a beach holiday and for walking and excursions. We got to Estival at 23:00 local time. From Barcelona airport to go an average of 1.5 hours. We quickly settled in building 3, room 3325, they gave us a "cold dinner" (instead of the dinner that we missed). The sea near the shore is warm, shallow, the sand shimmers with gold in the sun. Paradise for families with children! Our neighbors on the beach brought a big crab from the sea (they looked at it and took it back). I also saw a lot of small fish in shallow water. Those. living creatures in the coastal zone do not suffer from the plant and the port. If someone is very worried about the refinery, I advise you not to worry - there are still two nuclear power plants 30 kilometers away))). In the evenings, abandoned inflatable toys, umbrellas, folding chairs remain on the beach, which tourists buy for the rest period and leave at the end. Sometimes inflated, almost new, bright ones lie alone on the beach. Anyone who wants can take. . .
Also near the hotel there are 2 supermarkets (mini)-Michelangelo and a 5-minute walk Alcampo (Auchan). We had a breakfast-dinner concept, we bought beer, wine, water, shrimp for lunch in supermarkets. Very convenient and not expensive. Beer in Alcampo at a price of 0.27 euro bank.
