Hotel ratings by criteria:
Rooms: 7.0
Service: 7.0
Cleanliness: 8.0
Food: 6.0
Amenities: 7.0
Advantages:
Decent level overall (according to the rating of local residents, this is the best four)
Reception with Russian speaking representatives
Beach nearby
Quality food
Disadvantages:
Super-stuffy elevator, no ventilation at all, stuffiness in the corridors
Obsessive food system - it was impossible to choose only breakfasts - either half board or all inclusive
The farther from the reception and the restaurant, the less the staff knows English (cleaners, repairmen)
In the room there is no information at all about the hotel and room service, except for advertising paid phone calls
problems with water (forced contrast shower), excess bleach
Issuing towels at the reception is insanity (IMHO)
Review:
Nat Tenerife was the first time.

The hotel was chosen on the recommendation of a travel agent - TUI, my main requirements are the first line and 4 *. First line with 100% municipal beaches means you don't have to cross the road to get to the beach. Even 5 * hotels do not have their own beaches. All beaches are municipal. According to local residents, this hotel is the best in its category. In general, I agree with them.
I booked a standard room with a garden view, but upon arrival I needed an upgrade with a sea view, and as a result I paid extra for a suite with a huge terrace with panoramic views of the volcano, city, port and sea. The suite also had a Jacuzzi, daily delivery of fruit and water and weekly champagne in an ice bucket + access to the rooftop pool. As a result, I got the best room in the hotel and never regretted it.
Beach: The main drawback of the beach is half-plastic-half-rag sunbeds (for the first time I encountered such sunbeds), and the beach itself is quite narrow, there is a lot of fuss from bars and restaurants located right on the beach. Therefore, do not be lazy and go to a normal beach - where I actually went - the best beach of Costa Adeje - Playa del Duque. Walk to it for 20-25 minutes, it's worth it. It is wider and longer, there are full-fledged 100% plastic sunbeds with mattresses (only 1 euro more expensive than in Playa Torviscas).
Meals: quite tolerable, very tasty cheeses, fish, 3-4 types of ice cream for dinner, for people with lactose allergy or vegetarians - 6 types of soy milk for breakfast)))). In general, I would prefer one breakfast, because I don’t like to tie myself to food at the hotel, under which I inevitably have to adjust my daily routine. But the hotel food system forced me to half board. I spent 40 euros for drinks for dinner in 14 days.
Cleaning: Many reviews say that the maids do not take tips - just leave them either in the figures from the towels that they wind up for you or put a bill on the sign that is in the bathroom with the name of your maid. The main disadvantages of cleaning: ignorance of English and excessive initiative (I took them the water I needed in the jacuzzi, I had to explain in sign language so that I would not do this again). All in all, I didn't notice any special attention to cleaning up after tips other than verbal thanks for their increased amount of clean towels and sweets.

The water in the hotel is highly chlorinated. The water in the jacuzzi had to be defended for a day so that the bleach would disappear. Perhaps this is only a problem of the upper floors (I lived on the 6th floor), but when taking a shower, the water flowed either cold or hot and was very poorly regulated.
Hotel Features (don't be alarmed): the minibar is empty and that's how it should be. It is filled in the nearest supermarket)))). Towels are issued at the reception for a 10 euro deposit per 1 piece, keep your receipt to get your money back. The towels themselves are short and in order to properly cover the sunbed on the beach you need 2 of these towels. There is no information about the hotel and room service in the room (only advertising of paid telephone calls). Pina colada in hotel bars is disgusting. . . Mojito is not. There is only one outlet in the room (such as not figs to waste electricity).
Helpful Hints:
When leaving the room, leave one card (sockets are also cut down and if you store something in the refrigerator, it will defrost by your arrival), you can easily take an additional card at the reception. Sunbeds by the pool should be borrowed early in the morning, so it's much better and healthier to go to the beach)))))
It is better to come to dinner either very early (at the opening of the restaurant) or very late (at the closing), otherwise you will see huge queues and you may not find a free table at all. Breakfast is almost the same - better as soon as possible, but not later, because the waiters practically stop working and it is difficult to find a set table and get your legitimate tea or coffee. It's better to order tea. The coffee is complete rubbish.
If you like to drink tea in the room, it is better to take a kettle with you, there are no kettles (just for God's sake, don't burn the hotel)))))
Room service is poor, I took a photocopy of the menu to the reception, which is delivered to the room. Don’t count on the opportunity to order food in your room - only breakfast (breakfast delivery 3.95 euros) and a couple of salads, a steak. Why all this information could not be originally in a special folder in the room is very difficult to understand.

If you need Internet for more than two days, it is better to pay 20 euros per week, since daily Internet costs 7 euros.
Excursions: flamenco show - be sure to visit - you won't regret it, Loros Park, a sightseeing tour with a volcano and buying wines (you can't buy malvasia in regular stores near hotels).
What to buy: of course, malvasia (there will be a tasting on the tour, which is great, because without tasting I would definitely buy something wrong for myself), chocolate with Teide honey, fig bread, goat cheese. Pearls, jewelry with olivine.
