I have been traveling for 19 years and in my collection of impressions there was a different type of vacation: both budget and expensive, there is something to compare and what to compare with.
I bought a ticket to Dombai from the Hummingbird tour-Belgorod. The tour collected a whole bus of 45 people. We arrived early in the morning at 6 am. We were settled immediately, because this was previously agreed by the tour operator.
The cost of my room on the 6th floor was 3300 rubles. When I entered the room, I was really dumbfounded by the poverty and wretchedness of living conditions:
- old broken furniture. It seemed that it was collected in all dumps and garbage dumps of the village
- lack of full-fledged lighting in the room, one Ilyich bulb for 60 W
- lack of outlets around the perimeter of the room, one for the whole room and then falls out
- lack of a wardrobe closet, there was some kind of raw plywood

- lack of sanitary conditions in the bathroom: the tiles are covered with mold, the bathroom is wooden from lime deposits, a plastic cup for oral hygiene, shabby walls and floors, and the most unpleasant thing is pouring water from under the shower tray during water procedures. The hotel administration solved this problem in the following way - they brought a towel on the floor (water injector)
- the absence of a clothes dryer on the balcony or they want something similar to this design. Things had to be dried on a rusty battery
- problems with hot water: it was periodically turned off - I had to winter ice
- lack of cleaning of rooms and change of linen: towels
- lack of air conditioning and ventilation.
Now about the hotel itself and breakfast:
The hotel is under renovation, the ceiling is not plastered and the walls are shabby. There is tasteless furniture in the hall: sofas in the form of lips for a break with sofas from the times of the USSR.
The hotel has 2 elevators. But there is only 1 elevator. Therefore, if loaded with bags or uniforms, you have to wait for him for 10 minutes.
Breakfast: all 4 days we were fed with burnt scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, margarine, dryers, cottage cheese and some kind of pickled cabbage. The whole kind of food does not cause a desire to get enough, but rather to refuse this food. Greasy tables, cutlery, a la chandeliers - these are horns in electrical tape with a greasy touch of age-old dust.
For myself, I opened the Yolki-Palki cafe, next to the hotel. Breakfast price - 120 rubles. Always fresh, tasty and appetizing.
In order not to be unfounded, I will stir up a photo of my entire retelling.
I wish everyone a great holiday in Dombay, but I recommend choosing another hotel.
