My friends and I booked rooms of the "Premium" category, especially since the hotel has a "weekend rate". So a double room with a luxurious double bed, electric kettle, plasma cost 2 thousand rubles.
The room is small in size, but everything you need is available. The room is clean, comfortable, with a modern renovation. A nice bonus is a wonderful view of the Volga from the balcony. The girls at the reception are friendly, issued quickly. yourself).
In the evening, my friends and I grilled a barbecue on a rented veranda with a table and a barbecue, and in the morning we went fishing on the banks of the Volga. The catch, of course, was small, but the main thing was the process!
In general, the holiday was a success.
I recommend this hotel not only to tourists from other cities, but also to Volgograd residents who prefer an active, but at the same time comfortable rest.

I didn’t expect such an individual approach to each guest (you must agree, I’m glad that your request is responsive, a very comfortable room on the 5th floor, clean, comfortable, the kitchen is simple, home, but most of all I liked the surrounding area, the park area, everything is so green, everything is really beautiful and pleasing to the eye, as they say)))) there will be an opportunity to come to the Start again, I liked it very much, I recommend

I was half lucky with the food, once I liked it, the other not so much. The place is quiet, with a view not of the Volga, as promised in the advertisement, but of nine-story buildings. I didn’t live in suites, I rented an economy one. In short, everything there is junk. Old elevator, old furniture, repairs are going on somewhere. It can be seen that this hotel was built back in the fifties, so it stands in ruins, only the wallpaper was pasted. In my presence, the administrator was asked about the idle Internet, but they did not receive a clear answer. There is no TV in the room, boredom in the evenings, you can play billiards on a crooked broken table or drink beer. I have never heard of a sauna. I would not say that the hotel is cozy and clean. Nothing has changed here, including the guard in slippers.
If I have to come to Volgograd again, I will try to look for another place. My review is probably unforested, but I am not a competitor and not an ill-wisher, I am writing what I saw.

After reading reviews about the Start hotel the day before, we decided to stay there. We found it with difficulty, and for this we had to drive the whole city and spin for a long time by car near the hotel itself, because. getting there was very difficult. And now we were completely tired, we parked, went to the door of the hotel and rang the bell. And the polite and wonderful staff of this hotel in the face of a sleepy security guard in slippers and torn pants did not even bother to open the door for us !! ! We were waved vaguely from behind the door and left!! ! We were just shocked! Drive 1000 km. and get treated like this! How we felt at that moment is beyond words! We simply did not have the strength to be indignant then. With the last of our strength, we got back into the car and began to surf the Internet on the phone. We eventually found accommodation. But we still cannot forget the boorish attitude at the Start! I'm just outraged to the core!!!
Moreover, the hotel is declared as round-the-clock!! ! And it is strange that at such a time it was not the administrator who represented her, but the guard in rags !! ! We still didn’t understand what these hand gestures meant at all!??
I think that such an attitude towards customers already shows the level of the hotel and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE!!!
