Good afternoon!
I decided to leave my review about the Phuket Orchid Resort & Spa.
I think it will be short and to the point.
Purpose - family vacation.

Rooms - the hotel is not new.
The rooms are standard - beds, table, chairs, TV, bathroom. knot, etc.

The territory is gorgeous.
Very large, beautiful, well-groomed and well-planned territory. The highlight is a large concrete head in the middle of one of the pools and a bar underneath.

Food - we ate.
The hotel has 2 restaurants, one big and the other not so much. Drinks bar in the pool (you can swim up and freshen up without leaving the water), a snack bar by the pool and an open-air cafe.
The food options are different from "without it" to full board, but we chose to eat only breakfast in order to try how they cook in other restaurants and "macashnitsa" of which there are a dime a dozen in the area.

Breakfast starts at 6 in the morning and ends at 10:00, since we have small children, we got up early and had time to go to breakfast 2 times))) On weekdays, buffets with different cuisines are held in the large restaurant "LE BAYON". We were at an evening of steaks and royal Thai food. We barely crawled away from there))) I highly recommend it. In addition, the entrance ticket also includes a light drink: wine, beer or soda.

Animation - present.
Very unobtrusive, practically only for children, with the exception of "aqua aerobics". In German)))

Children's mini club - yes.
Draw, applique, cartoons, constructors and various types of applied art.

Water slides - yes.
2 large and 2 in the children's pool. They work by the hour. Lifeguards are constantly on duty.

Pools - a lot on the territory, did not count))) There are rooms with access to the pool through the balcony.
In one of the pools, there is a smooth entrance with a handrail equipped for people with disabilities. Service of issue and exchange of towels. I note that towels can be changed an infinite number of times during the day. (Which compares favorably with Turkish hotels, where towels are exchanged once a day)

The children's pool is very good.
Water slide for children 2 pcs. Wall for climbers. Dolphins, etc. I was pleased with the smooth entry into the water. A 2-year-old child himself entered the water. And a big awning stretched over it.

Services: Miscellaneous
On the territory there is a Spa salon, a massage parlor and a gym.
Children are braided (by the way, it turned out to be cheaper in the hotel than in hairdressers outside the hotel).
In the gym, the girl is a professional fitness instructor, she has all sorts of awards hanging on the wall.
An artist sits in the lobby next to the reception, he paints very beautiful pictures.

The area around the hotel is densely built up.
Cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, beauty salons and massage parlors, souvenir shops, kitchens on wheels and fruit stalls and again cafes, restaurants, bars ....
In general, a lot of things, here you can eat, junk, massage, etc.

The sea is exciting

To the sea 2 minutes walk, municipal beach. Very clean and the sand is pleasant, the entrance to the sea is not very smooth, so be vigilant about the waves, the WAVES and the current. There are also lifeguards on the sea and a system of signs to determine if it is safe to swim. Right here you can get a Thai massage, of course, for a modest fee)))

In the end, I want to say that I liked the hotel very much and the family vacation copes with its function 100%.

PS Lean more on fruits, here they are tastier and cheaper than on our shelves.
