Evropa Guest House is a small, cozy tourist-class hotel with good service and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located on the northern outskirts of Prague in a quiet area of Prague-8, a 15-minute drive from the center by car, a 10-minute bus ride, the stop of which is 200 meters away, to the Kobylisy metro station. There is a restaurant, snack bar, supermarket, pharmacy, post office and sports center within a radius of 150 meters from the hotel. The hotel has 3 floors and was last renovated in 2008.More →

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hostess is rude. Breakfasts are disgusting. Don't expect a decent buffet. You will be served on a plate with a few pieces of sausage and cheese. There is no hot food at all (no cereals, no omelettes, no sausages). You will dry yourself with one towel for several days in a row. An unscheduled change (none of the hotels have seen this) only for a fee. In general, everything here is paid, except for the hair dryer. In the 21st century, paid internet in a hotel (250 CZK) is nonsense!! ! By the way, the local hosts can be brought under the article about fraud, because Wi-Fi is declared as free. There is nowhere to eat in the area. So that there is not even a seedy cafe nearby - sorry. Bed linen is torn. The funny thing is that at the end the hostess accused us of tearing her pillowcase!
Список услуг. Вай-фай - 250 крон.

"Survived" in this place the first week of October. Wouldn't wish this on an enemy.
About everything in order.
This hostel was strongly recommended to me by the tour operator. They say it will be easy to get to the center from it, and it’s quiet, and the conditions are good.
But there was none of that.
I met a certain person who did not even bother to introduce himself. (Later it turned out that her name was Lyuba). She simply copied the data from my passport into her notebook, said that the room was not yet ready and went somewhere with other guests. True, she told me how to get to the center. But if you do not have Czech crowns, then this will be very problematic.
After 2 they still settled me. The room is terrible. Firstly, wi-fi in this guesthouse is paid, although on all resources they write that it is free. I paid 250 crowns for a week of stay (about 750 rubles) and I can’t say that it was of excellent quality.
Secondly, in the bathroom, not only was there nothing but liquid soap diluted with water, but also the shower tray was covered in hair, the shower head was covered with black mold, and there was no water pressure in the sink (to wash your hands you need to carry along the shell wall).
Third, there are no sheets on the bed. Only the mattress topper, and that tattered and mended one. And he has some hair on him too. The pillows are more like bags stuffed with old tights.
The TV channels are only in Czech.
For the whole week, the room was never cleaned (only the garbage was taken away and the corner of the toilet paper was bent).
The bedside tables are old and dirty, the curtains are all stained, the walls are black striped and with footprints. Also, there is no soundproofing at all in the room, all night I listened to the “magnificent” snoring of the neighbors and the screams of their children.
And this same Lyuba is apparently not at all familiar with the sense of tact. She burst into the locked door of the room, did not even knock.
In fairness, it is worth noting the presence of a mini-fridge, but it does not save the situation.
But there is a whole price list on the table. The kettle is paid, the slippers are paid, the safe is paid.
Check out at 10 am. The hotel management is not even able to call a taxi for their guests.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It is very convenient!! ! I recommend this guesthouse for your holiday in Prague.

We were in September 2012. . . The transfer (standard bus) cannot drive up to the boarding house, as there is nowhere to turn around. Therefore, 300 meters from the road to go on foot with things. The guesthouse is a typical building (3 floors) with plywood walls and tiny reception rooms, there is no mention of anything else.
Smoking room on the 2nd floor with 1 sofa and 3 armchairs. The entrance doors open freely in one direction (from the inside) - if you go out without a key (by the way, usual) you won’t get back.
Breakfast is hard to call tears.
The owners of this institution are our former compatriots who lived in Ivanteevka near Moscow, well, you understand . . A bottle of beer in the dining room is 80 kroons (at a price in the nearby market-10)))), and even then you need to ask.
Hot water is present + TV with Russian nonsense on it. .
For access to the Internet, pay again (150 kroons)!
To the bus stop on foot 5-7min (final + ticket machine may not work)). The bus takes you out of this area for 15-20 minutes. After the bus, to the center of Prague 25-30min metro or tram, to choose from.
To the nearest cafe (Chinese restaurant, there are no others in the area) -15 minutes on the same foot.
The place is dull and to whom all of the above is indifferent or suits you here! But this is not Europe, believe me...

Moreover, the Prague 8 area has always seemed to me to be some edge of civilization. However, almost it is, but a lot lies in this word almost. Hotel-boarding house "Europe". Three stars. For me it was the first acquaintance with hotels of this type. It's not even really a hotel, but rather a guest house. The owners of the house welcome you. They give you a double key, where one key is for your room, and the second is for the house. You come and go as you please. This was a very unexpected discovery. No reception for you and other hotel bells and whistles. The room is cozy, contains absolutely everything you need for life. This boarding house is located in the private sector, near expensive private villas. This is quite an interesting side of Prague. However. The remoteness from the center of the hotel-boarding house Europe should be mentioned separately. If you look at the map of Prague, the first thought is: “Nightmare! It's so far away from all the sights! ” The words of the hotel owner that you need to get to the center by two modes of transport also do not add optimism. . However, having studied the bus schedule (and it is worth remembering that buses and other public transport in Prague run exactly as it is written in the schedule! ) you understand that you can go to the Center literally every 5 minutes! The bus brings you straight to the metro entrance, and there are 4 stations and the Museum. The total duration of such a trip is a maximum of 20 minutes! Home atmosphere is felt in every little thing. For example, if you were gone all day, and the hostess knew that you were on a long excursion, then in the morning she will ask you how the trip was, what you liked, if you were tired, etc. She can also advise a lot, tell about her life in Prague and about how and why she decided to leave Moscow. Very interesting people, the owners of this pension. The whole holiday is like visiting friends. (this is from my blog - http://www. gorod. sumy. ua/blogs/Maryniki_647.html) The photo is there.

Porters were promised in the tour company? So what about the hotel? Where did you find Hamok? I didn’t notice - very polite people (owners), there would be such people around...
Did it take you an hour to get to the center? Probably walked on foot? )))) Maximum 15 minutes - 7 minutes bus, 6 - subway.
In short, I am writing here in defense of this boarding house about the angry fools.
Cool, just a great guesthouse!!!!!
I will only stay here and recommend to all my friends.

Pros: I really liked the area, I do not like the bustle of the city. Polite hosts. We arrived at one in the morning, but at the request of Andrei (the owner) he gave us a thermos with hot water, tea and rolls. The cleanliness of the rooms. Linen and towels were changed three times during the 8 days of stay. I like it when I have my own key that I don't have to hand over to anyone. Excellent Chinese restaurant 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse.
Cons: Breakfast really leaves a lot to be desired. You can hold out on muesli and toast for a couple of days, but now it’s already boring for a week. Remoteness. The first time I got into a wild heat (it was under 40C all week), I wanted to take a shower between excursions, but it was a pity to lose time. The second time was in April. And it was wonderful. They played all night. Buses run every half an hour from the center to the guesthouse. So there were no problems with getting there.
In general, I will probably go to this guesthouse for the third time. Evening walks under the starry sky away from the city center are great!

Check in at any time which is very convenient. The keys are with you - you can return to the pension at any time after walking around Prague. Clean guesthouse, cozy and economical by Prague standards. Friendly hosts - they speak Russian. Near a convenient location of transport, there are shops, a pharmacy, a post office, restaurants.
I really liked this guesthouse!

Check in at any time which is very convenient. The keys are with you - you can return to the pension at any time after walking around Prague. Clean boarding house, cozy (like at home) and economical by Prague standards. Friendly hosts - they speak Russian. You can solve various issues with them, starting with information about the city, ending with tea and ironing.
Near Public Transport Stop, There Are Shops, Pharmacy, Post Office, Restaurants.
The only thing that is a little minus is the location from the center (15 minutes), but again, this is not Moscow and Prague is small, everything is close, transport runs on schedule. But the place is ecologically clean and there is no round-the-clock ora that is in the center....In a word, everything is convenient.
I really liked this guesthouse!

My husband and I stayed at the "Europe" boarding house in September 2009. I can say that this is a good hotel that corresponds to the ECONOMY class - in terms of quality, service and price of the tour. Unfortunately, some compatriots who are offended by life (they don’t have enough places in “good” hotels, it turns out that they have to pay for travel, and they simply cannot live without floor scales in the room) clearly do not match their desires with their capabilities, so choosing the cheapest tours, for some reason they believe that they should be accommodated in a luxury hotel in the center, and be sure to be fed with caviar, lobsters and pineapples. … More ▾ My husband and I stayed at the "Europe" boarding house in September 2009. Unfortunately, this does not happen and that is why they do not like such tourists. Therefore, when choosing an inexpensive tour, think about what you want to get for your money and what class of hotel you can count on, and maybe it’s better for someone to save up money and go to a hotel worthy of them. Well, to all realists who understand that an economy hotel is just a place to spend the night before the next interesting day of rest, good weather in Prague and so that you have enough space in the boarding house "Europe".
