The historical building of the hotel is ideally located in the very center of the city, just a few minutes walk from all the main sights of Prague and the Vltava embankment, next to the majestic National Theater and the famous Laterna Magika (Magic Lantern) Theatre. It has been reconstructed to fit into the atmosphere of the Old City. Near the hotel there are traditional Czech restaurants "Novomestsky Pivovar" and "U Fleku". The hotel has 23 rooms. The hotel offers round-the-clock service at the reception, currency exchange, conditions for conferences and negotiations. There is also a parking lot for cars and buses in front of the hotel.More →

Of course, you can go, but if you have a choice, it’s better not to. They write in the center. Well, depending on what to compare with, of course it is better than Prague 3-4, etc. Next to it, Jerome House is also 3, but decent and much more attractive! The hotel is old. Without repair. The hotel is old. Without repair. We were - it was just additionally painted with graffiti. Near the reception - restructuring. The room had cracked and peeling paint on the windows. There are water drips on the ceilings. In the corridor, the same is somehow gloomy. Breakfast - you can eat, but not tasty. Wi-fi only at the reception. By the way, an important fact - the staff is Russian-speaking and friendly.
You can go to the main tourist gathering places, but 15-20 minutes. You can go to Malostranska, but it takes about 7 minutes to get to the bus stop.
Something like that. You choose. But I probably don't.

Choosing a hotel was primarily guided by its location. In principle, this is its main advantage. It is located in Prague 1, which allows you to walk to almost all major attractions. In principle, this is its main advantage. It is located in Prague 1, which allows you to walk to almost all major attractions. They settled us very quickly, they took a double room, the room is small, two beds pushed together, two bedside tables, a wardrobe and a table with TV. We came there only to spend the night, so that was quite enough for us. I didn’t like breakfast, on sightseeing trips, I’m used to having a hearty breakfast. They served a breakfast buffet, these were two types of sausage, cheese, butter, jam, some canned fruit, a bun and two types of bread, it was not even possible to fry a toast. The hotel is small, everything is very quiet and peaceful. Literally around the corner is the famous beer "U Fleku", it was the first place that we visited immediately upon arrival. Everything is very simple and fun there, a positive attitude immediately appears. By the way, this is a great guide! (in the city center there are many narrow, similar streets where it is easy to get lost), asking for directions to this pub, you are much more likely to hear an explanation than naming the address of the hotel. Everything suited us, but I think it was only because we spent only a night in the hotel, but I would not go to this hotel again.

Koruna is a decent hotel. I would even say that it is great for tourists, but there is a minus for me - there is no curtain in the bathroom! A nightmare to go out on wet tiles after a shower. And I’m also angry that I saved money and didn’t take a single room. I went to one of the group in a single room - modest and chic, so I will say. … More ▾ Koruna is a decent hotel. And I’m also angry that I saved money and didn’t take a single room. I went to one of the group in a single room - modest and chic, so I will say. It is small, but cozy, and there is a work table and a wardrobe, and no one hangs next to their bundles until midnight, and you can relax in peace.
Well, in general, I liked the hotel. A beautiful historic mansion, they say, of the 14th century, the facade is impressive, there are cobbled streets around, decent inside, cleanliness. A HUGE plus - that the city center, and at the same time not a busy corner. The hotel is small but with an elevator. They served a decent breakfast. I tried to dine somewhere nearby in restaurants, there are plenty to choose from. On the advice of the guide, we went with one of the group to Pivovarsky Dum, ate and drank great, I advise everyone. It's good to walk just in the evenings in illuminated Prague, just a fairy tale, and we went far from the hotel, once we had to take a taxi back at night.
The room was cleaned, the staff was not rude, the tours were not disrupted. In general, the trip went well and I really liked Prague. Beautiful city.
