For the first time I decided to leave a review about the hotel! In Hurghada for the second time (in Egypt - 5). Each time we rested in 5 *, we decided to go to 4 * for the first time. And VERY pleasantly surprised. Now in order:
This time there were four of us - two adults and two kids (3.6 and 2). So the main thing in the rest is to make the kids comfortable.
1. Meals: not as varied as in 5 *, but the most basic - everything is very fresh!! ! Every day there was Meat (beef), fish (either mackerel or pangasius), chicken (sometimes stuffed turkey, rarely duck). There are few salads, and you don’t need a lot - there were a lot of vegetables, herbs, several types of lettuce, cabbage. Shape your salads to your liking. . . dressings, balsamic vinegar, oils, yoghurts. . . Side dishes are worthy too. We were not hungry and the kids were full, despite the fact that there is no children's menu at all. But the kitchen is organized in such a way that the children could eat from the common table - there are both boiled and steam dishes, they don’t overdo it with spices, which also pleases... Several times there was a feast of dishes: one day there was a parade of salads - there were about 30 different salads to choose from , vegetable dishes. Once there was a feast of sweets... breakfasts are standard for Egyptian hotels: scrambled eggs / scrambled eggs, cheeses, sausage, vegetables, pancakes, donuts, toasts. Jams, honey are served in waffle cups. Coffee is terrible. But in the lobby bar from 10.00 to 18.00 you could drink a decent coffee. Another one of the bars on the beach also has good Coffee from 10.00. Donuts in the morning and in the afternoon are very tasty (the kids appreciated), but the pancakes are disgusting. . .
2. Territory: just huge, green well-groomed. The guys every day water, clean, cut. Birds walk on the lawns, the children liked to watch the herons... there is where to walk, we walked a lot in the evenings with a stroller.
Separately, I want to highlight the good location of the playground. One is located near the kids club, but the second is right on the beach! It is covered with a straw canopy, so that even in the heat of the day, the children do not burn and they are comfortable there. And for parents, sunbathing comfortably on the beach, watching the kids who frolic nearby on the playground... After sunset, the playground is lit with lanterns, so evening walks and playing on the playground brought pleasure to the kids!
3. Animation: I will not repeat after the previous tourists who left reviews - I completely agree with them! Animation at a high level!! ! They don’t get impudent, they don’t pester, but they tactfully invite, they tell everything in detail. Children's disco in the evenings - super! The little one dances happily!
4. Numbers: there are small scuffs, signs of wear. But in general, decent rooms (lived in the main building on the ground floor). Cleaning for 5+. The floors are washed - it's a fact. Towels and cosmetics changed every day, water and coffee / tea / sugar / cream - too. There was no shortage. If something is broken - changed within 10 minutes. Iron and ironing board in every room. Electronic clock with an alarm clock and radio - too. Hairdryer - on request. The attitude towards guests is very helpful! (We didn’t pay extra for the room, we liked everything right away). Upon request, a comfortable and whole bed was added for the child. The room is so spacious that you could put two more of the same. The sheets and towels are white with no holes!
5. Beach: simply huge. The sand is very compacted, shuttles can and do ride. You don't need special shoes. The beds are already tired. Flimsy and in need of replacement. But there is a choice and you can find whole and more or less decent ones. The mattresses are comfortable. Sunbathing is quite comfortable. The sea is great for kids, shallow, knee-deep. Especially at low tide. But this fact upset me personally. I love to swim, and the prospect of going half a day to the Pier or 20 minutes 150 meters to the depth did not please me. There is a true lagoon, where it is deep enough and you can swim... but the water there is cold compared to the sea in winter. Yes, and kids love to swim with their parents in armlets and at a depth! And we had to crawl on our knees to swim with the kids... you say - there is a pool... but we then came to the sea !! ! And for the sake of the sea, so clean and beautiful. And one more minus - the dishes at the bar - plastic cups. From a hygiene standpoint, yes. But the wind from negligent guests flies all this into the sea!! ! The bottom is littered with plastic and bags. Not very nice. . .
6. Wi-fi: exclusively in the Aqua bar. There is a sign with a password. We went to Senzo-mall (Uber - $2) and bought a 20 GB phone card. We had enough for 10 days!
7. Water park: large beautiful slides, not very big but not very small either! Children entertainment, but not in winter. Swimming pool not heated.
To sum up: our vacation was a success! There are more pluses than minuses for the money we paid!! ! This is not a VIP hotel, but a good 4 *. The attitude of the staff makes the hotel hospitable.
As a budget but quality stay - I recommend it! Would come here again - of course yes!! !
