At the hotel we were greeted with a smile, at the reception immediately clarified all the wishes for a comfortable stay. The room was given one for two, but very comfortable, spacious and clean. The furniture is very modest but well maintained. Two beds, a sliding wardrobe with a large mirrored door, a sofa for rest. Everywhere everything is neat, there is nothing superfluous. All plumbing in the bathroom worked perfectly, there were no problems with it. We were very pleased with the balcony, it was also furnished. We often not only dried things there, but also arranged gatherings. They cleaned our place with high quality, they always twisted all sorts of figures from towels, changed bed linen and towels. The service is excellent, the staff is well trained, there were no comments on the service and bad attitude. Everything is great.
The territory of the hotel is very large, green and well-groomed. Many times we noticed how the workers water the lawns, mow the bushes, process the flowers. It was nice to walk in the evening, admire this beauty. In addition to this beauty, there were three more beaches and two pools. Most of all we liked the beach on the spit. The sand is clean, there is no debris. Everything is cultural, it is just pleasure itself. The beach bar always has the freshest pizza, beer and drinks for every taste. Eat and drink as much as you like. The basic food was also top notch. Always fresh dishes of meat, fish, excellent side dishes, seafood with different sauces, vegetables and salads. There were a lot of fruits, especially exotic ones. We tried everything, we were satisfied! We spoiled ourselves with desserts several times - this is something delicious. Yummy!!!
From the animation, we remember the incendiary aqua aerobics, belly dancing, playing volleyball. In the evenings different show programs. Many thanks to the animators for a great mood.
Most of the time, of course, devoted to excursions. For a very modest price, on the Super Safari excursion we tried ourselves as ATV drivers, rode and took pictures on camels. We also went to Utopia Island, learned a lot of history and had a great time, went swimming in the Red Sea, sunbathed and caught fish)))
Time flew by very quickly and it was time for us to return home. We want to visit this fairy tale more than once) Thank you very much to all the hotel staff for a great vacation.

In general, a triple is a triple... but the sea is just super . . the beach is always clean and tidy....the service is not very... not least, the hotel is twenty-five minutes from the airport . . I don’t know how it is in other cities of Egypt, but in Hurghada there are strong winds... we sunbathed for 3 days out of ten days and the remaining seven days we were simply blown away .

Apparently those people who wrote, for the first time outside of Russia or Gelenzhik. Of course, you can't please everyone, so there are pros and cons. The hotel is old, has not been renovated for a long time, is located on the very outskirts of Old Hurghada, if anyone rested in the center of Old Hurghada (Sharaton St. ), then you can’t walk the center on foot, you have to take a taxi. On the territory of the hotel there are bungalows from 1 to 3 and two buildings 4 and 5 (2 floors). I recommend “give” when checking in (put $ 5-10 in your passport) and ask for a more interesting number, we always did this, they gave numbers 5212 and 5211 (building 5.2nd floor) - it is considered, sort of, the best, next to the sea etc. , although everything is not important. These buildings are purely for Russian tourists. And also two more buildings - 6 and 7, this is for foreigners, called SMART. LAIN COLOR, of course, is better there (apartments + restaurant + free Wi-Fi, etc. ) Therefore, if you want to more or less relax and eat like a human being, I recommend taking neither STANDART-ROOM, but COMFORT-ROOM (more expensive by 5000 rubles, approximately) and upon check-in at the hotel you will be assigned to the 6th or 7th building and put on pink bracelets. There is another option: come to the hotel and ask for COMFORT-ROOM at the reception immediately upon check-in, and in fact pay $ 5 per person, i. e. $ 10 for a 2-bed room, but if there are free rooms at 6 and 7 buildings, we were when the hotel was 1/3 full. Of course, a person came to rest, gets used to everything. If you speak a little Russian, and still know how to smile, then this is a bonus for you. The territory is large, the sea is clean (its own beach), but a bit small, it’s good with children, if you look deeper and look at the fish, then you need to walk 500 meters to the spit, it’s more fun there. All 9 days there was wind, for the first time at this time of the year, although they got tanned like blacks, the air temperature was 30 degrees, the water was 22-23 degrees (well, it’s peppy, who loves fresh milk, it probably won’t be very comfortable). Well, what else is so interesting to remember: they went from Anex, which can be said, apparently after their revolutions they generally have a head of cuckoo. For the first time we had a rest in the winter on the sea. I liked it when you get from winter to summer - this is an unforgettable experience, although the sea in January is cold + 18 and you don’t swim much with fish. Yes, it's cold in the evenings. By the way, Shedvanians are not allowed to swim in the heated pool. The food is good. big and beautiful. as well as the beaches - no pretensions. The slides still don't work. As for watering with sewage, it’s true - you won’t envy those living on the 1st floors of Shedvan, you don’t feel it in Smart. The food is delicious, but without frills, there is always meat, fish and chicken. As for me, Turkey tastes better. Fruits have always been sweet on the fan. The service is good, the Arab boys try hard. Special thanks to the waiters Hussein, Sheriff (showed the night Khurgud) and others. Of course, they are clinging to women, but they do not cross borders. There are a lot of Germans in Smart, but they are very cheerful and friendly. Animation is so-so, maybe because it's winter. In general, the impressions are good, the time flew by quickly and did not want to leave.

My husband went out for a smoke, since we arrived early and expected that they would procrastinate us until at least 2:00 pm....but no, within 5 minutes a porter jumped out with the keys and said that he was ready to see us off. They settled in a room with 2 beds... hmm....sent my husband to change the room, he was gone for 20 minutes... he returned cheerful like that, he says they begged for money for changing the room, so he starved them out : ) In short, they changed and no 5 We didn't give 10 bucks to anyone.

Beach. 3 pieces, huge, a lot of sunbeds, there are always free places, and the main thing is a beautiful lagoon, something like a long bulk pier with a squiggle (you can see it on the map, it goes so far into the sea). There is sand in the sea, one of the beaches is shallow, deeper in the lagoon, and behind it is the open sea, if you sail further and to the left you can find a reef : )
We went on excursions to an aneksturom, everything is fine. If you know what you want, then no one will divorce you for grandmas.

On the second day of rest, I recklessly hung hotel towels to dry on the balcony (attention, 1st floor), and one of them was successfully squeezed : ) I was worried that I would have to pay for it now....but we decided... eye for eye and on the penultimate holiday day they themselves squeezed the same towel with the same suckers as us : )

We left our luggage, went to have breakfast, walked around the hotel, sat in the bar. By 10.30 I went to the reception, gave a large chocolate bar and asked if possible to give a room as soon as possible and next to my brother's family. To which they answered that there were no rooms yet and asked me to walk for another hour.
Exactly 5 minutes later, an employee imperceptibly approached me and asked me to follow him.
After another 5 minutes, we stood at the door of our rooms in building 6 on the 1st floor.
ROOMS
They arranged us, we stayed. Everything fresh, after repair, hair dryer in the room. They wrote here that you need to ask only not for the 1st floor - why didn’t you understand? ! They went out from their balcony directly to the pavement and to the pool, very convenient. On the contrary, I saw how hard vacationers climbed the spiral staircases. No one walked past our building, I counted three cats for the whole hotel, and even those were not stationed with us. There was no safe in the room, all things remained in the room, they were not handed over to the reception. Nothing is missing. The room was cleaned daily, towels thrown on the floor were changed. The glass door in the shower closes only one side, on the floor of the other we put a towel. The bathroom after cleaning just shone with cleanliness. There is a regular TV set with three Russian-language channels. But there were hardly any in the room.
BEACHES.
For these beaches, I am ready to forgive the hotel for all its shortcomings. My brother even joked that there were too many of them and since all the beaches had different offers, I had to stomp a lot during the day. For example, we went to the beach near the slides to play boccia and ride the slides, but we didn’t stay there, because the music is loud there. We spent most of the day on the spit, there is less wind, the water is warmer and you can swim with masks. Everywhere there is a gentle sandy entry, cleanliness, there is a bar and M and F near each beach. We were lucky with the weather, we swam every day and only in the sea (children are also in the pool), the wind was once, but very strong, but before lunch .

Everything took place in a single dining room-restaurant. We had enough, you could always choose something to your taste: delicious yoghurts for breakfast, cheeses, pastries, scrambled eggs, etc. I don’t see the point in listing the products. I missed the grill and seafood. They certainly were, but not exactly the way I like.
I didn't like that there were no tables outside. Of course, they are - near the pool and in the evening we went out there with glasses, but you can’t go there with food during a meal. We prefer to eat in silence in the open air. During rush hour the restaurant is quite noisy. From time to time there were not enough cups, cutting or some dishes ended. Whoever wanted to - stood waiting, we just approached a few minutes later, when the queue cleared up. It didn't bother us. But since there are practically only Slavs in this hotel, quite often I had to observe disgruntled screaming faces or a murmuring crowd of FIVE! ! ! people dissatisfied with the fact that they are standing in line. But that was in the early days when the hotel was full. Then, somehow, there were fewer people. I still didn’t like the greed of our fellow citizens, who will pick up huge plates of everything in a row, but they can’t put everything in themselves and the mountains of food remain untouched.
As if someone forbids you to come up to food several times or strained with plates there. I don't understand this! And then they stand in line and are indignant that something was not enough for them.
I was very impressed by the Christmas dinner, smart chefs and waiters, the change of interior in the dining room and boots with gifts on the doors of each room. It was very nice. On the same day, we talked with men who walked around our territory, they came to us from neighboring Triton: their dinner was almost identical to the daily one and they paid 1000 Russian rubles for it.
By the way, I was surprised to learn how simply in the evening people from other hotels penetrate us, because and then I already met women at a disco in a sea restaurant. Somehow we need to take security more seriously! I have nothing against my compatriots who came to see how we live, but can they come with bad intentions? !

We bought a six liter bottle of water from a store behind the Mafia cafe a minute's walk from the hotel, which was just enough for the three of us.
From time to time there are not enough glasses in bars, but part of the blame for this lies with us vacationers. The beaches are large, and 1-2 people work near the bar, they also run and collect cups scattered all over the sunbeds.
On the first day we saw salsa and zumbo shows by the pool. We decided that we were not interested in it, because everyone who lies by the pool stares at the dancers.
My daughter-in-law and I really wanted water aerobics and step aerobics (the steps are right on the street near the slides). Several times we approached the animators first with the questions when? Children's animation is good, and there are programs for them during the day and in the evening, there is also a good children's room and a playground on the central beach. There is table tennis (please light it up in the evening! ) and big chess.
Evening adult animation begins immediately after the children's one, in the same hall where the reception and the lobby bar are located. It is inconvenient that not everyone can sit down. Many have to stand, not everyone can see equally well, as, say, it would be in the amphitheater. I suppose that in the summer it happens on the street, I saw two scenes there. From what I saw (even participated in some things): dance with skirts, fakir show, belly dance, Mr. and Miss hotel, something like Irish dances, but they didn’t go to everything.
SERVICE
Cleaning is daily, cleaning of cups and plates is lightning fast, everyone smiles at you, sings something. We are friendly guys, not greedy. We got acquainted with all the bartenders-waiters, personally I have no complaints.

Since we have already been to many places, this time we went from Ramses on the beach to Paradise Island. I liked that only our hotel guests went, therefore, there were not many of us and we didn’t call for anyone else at other hotels.
In other boats, the people were like herring in a barrel, we were 11 people. The island itself was not particularly impressive, but I liked the boat trip itself with two snorkeling dives and a little fishing. The guys on the boat did their best to entertain us.
We also used the services of a diving club on the beach. Scuba diving (albeit from our own beach on the spit) cost us $100 for six of us. Nothing superb, but it was our first experience, we had enough impressions. By the way, if it’s cold for someone to swim, you can rent a wetsuit in a diving club (if for a long time - $ 4, if for the whole day - $ 7). Perfectly keeps not only heat, but also you on the water.
The son went surfing, they took only a trial lesson.
PURCHASES
A trifle was bought almost immediately behind the hotel in shops to the left of the hotel (a mask with a snorkel 5, a snorkel - $ 2, a vest for me - 11 euros). For larger purchases, we went to the Sheraton. In Pharaoh they bought a leather bag and jacket, wallet and belts.
Prior to this, the taxi driver insisted that we first go to another leather store - Moscow, but although there were all bags, all 25, but of poor quality.
For sweets, we went to the confectionery El Zahra. Located halfway from the hotel to the market. From the hotel to the left, to the crossroads past the Triton empire hotel (which is on the second line) to a large fork in 5-7 minutes. Conveniently pack sweets for the road. If you go around this shop on the right, then in another 5 minutes, past the Coptic church, go to the market with vegetables, fruits, shrimps, fish ....Don't let the oriental "color" of the market bother you, the fruits are delicious.
WI-FI. Free for Smartline guests. For Shedwan at the hotel costs 3$, can be used in installments for three days. At the reception there is a computer with headphones with Skype. You can also use the services of the fish restaurant and the Mafia cafe immediately to the left of the hotel, ordering any trifle from them. Hookah is free of charge.
DEPARTURE
Men handed over things at 12, they cut off their bracelets. The rest were not even asked. We enjoyed all the bars and the dining area quietly until we left. Heard earlier from other vacationers waiting to check out that cut bracelets were not served in the lobby bar. But there are plenty of others! Rather than sit, exhausted in the lobby, we still got enough to swim, took a walk, and at 5 pm we were like that!
TOTAL
We gained strength, rested, sunbathed, no one got poisoned or got sick. The hotel is not bad, and in many ways even surpasses not only the fours, but also some fives. It must be taken into account when going there that all of us are there. The main thing is a good mood, setting for a good rest.
People with show-offs, dissatisfied with life, in Egypt in any hotel are unlikely to be satisfied with everything!
