For me, the main condition when choosing a hotel in Sharm is a beautiful "home" reef. And this hotel clearly meets this requirement. This was my third trip to Sharm, but this is the first time I see such an interesting reef near the hotel. I have explored virtually all of Sharks Bay and I can safely say that Concord has the best site in this bay. True, the reefs in this area are gradually dying ...
Now a little about the hotel itself.
Nutrition. Diverse and in general, you can even call it delicious. Sometimes they delight with delicacies such as crabs.
Alcohol. From local alcohol you can drink not only beer (as in many hotels in Egypt), but gin and tonic and white wine. They also make cocktails in the lobby bar - it seems to be something similar to a pino colada.
Rooms.
Without surcharge, they will settle in the buildings farthest from the beach overlooking the road. If you pay a little extra (10 dollars), then they will settle in buildings closer to the pools. BUT not all rooms on the second floor have balconies - for some vacationers this is critical.
Staff. I have not seen rudeness from the staff, and some bartenders really try to make you a delicious cocktail. The only character that causes strong antipathy is the Anex Tour guide Ahmed. You can’t just take and refuse excursions without rudeness on his part. I advise you not to waste time meeting this type at all.
The only criticism of the hotel: the lack of breakfast for guests arriving early in the morning. They offer tea/coffee with buns, which may not be enough for everyone. But it would be better to make the cost of the tour more expensive by $ 10 and include the usual breakfast on the first day.

Without losing hope, we tried to explain in "broken" English about further actions, but our attempts were unsuccessful. By 09.00 we came back to the reception and Hurray! an employee appeared with whom we understood each other and we were told that now there can be no breakfast only for a surcharge, and since the settlement at 14.00 we can go to the upper bar, they will make tea / coffee and bring buns. We did just that and went to the bar, ordered 2 coffees and buns (even 5 small ones), the wait was 15 minutes. It was also said that we can use everything except food, bracelets will be issued around 12.00 and at 13.00 we can go for lunch. But since we had an anniversary, they went to meet us and settled at about 11.00, but the bracelets were still at 12.00.

The happy ones ran to dinner, took tomatoes, cucumbers, white peppers, cheese (feta), potatoes, which turned out to be raw (but as the result Ukrainian chef Denis explained to us, they say, all Egyptian potatoes are quite hard no matter how you cook them) , beef in gravy (it was quite tasty), desserts (buns were hard, the same), fruits - orange, melon, apple cut in sugar syrup, guava - tart (because green) and sometimes there were bananas.
For dinner, everything was extremely the same potatoes, beef, vegetables. We have already said jokingly that we know what will happen tomorrow for lunch and dinner =) There is food for diabetics in the canteen. Tried to take pasta in tomato sauce, turned out to be raw, did not eat. We also tried pizza - did not like it, although people took it.
During the 10 days of our vacation, there were crabs 2 times, but they put them on 3 pieces per person, when I asked to add they looked like I don’t know who. Many will say why not take a couple of pieces and come again? Because it's impossible, you stand in line for 20 minutes to get food. You try to take as much as possible so as not to stand in this HELL several times. And 4 times there were squids in tomato sauce with pepper and some kind of fish quite spicy. 2 more times there was a whole fried fish - well, ochcheeennn delicious.
The location is good, on the way out of the SOHO hotel where the prices are above the norm.
The sea is amazing!! ! Crazy reef, already breathtaking, a variety of fish. But in order to get to the sea, you need to overcome obstacles - namely, to go “over the heads” of tourists, but basically it’s 80-90% of the Arabs who just hung on the stairs near the pontoon.
The pontoon was plastic (NOT STATIONARY) - it staggers, but you can safely walk. In the description of the hotel, it was said about 2 plastic pontoons, as a result it turned out that 1 was open, and boats moored on 2, boats on which tourists ride (parachute, bananas, plates, etc. ) which create inconvenience for vacationers due to constant waves and disgusting smell of solarium. A lifeguard was sitting on the pontoon who helped if something happened with a mask (it leaks, you can’t put it on, etc. ). In the evening after 15.00 there were 2 lifeguards, but since this hotel consists of 2 lines (1 - Front, 2 - Sport), people were simply unmeasuredoooooooo, it was extremely difficult to push through to get down the stairs into the water, many CIS (our tourists) took and jumped from a pontoon - it was much faster that way.
Beach - consists of 3 tiers. In the middle there is a bar where you can take ice cream, water, juices, cola, fanta, sprite, from 10.00 you can take alcohol.
The sunbeds are disgusting (white plastic), everything is broken, only 2 positions of the backrest (lying and sitting), the mattresses are torn.
Towels in both lines are blue. And the tourists - the Arabs who came from the 2nd line did not take their towels, they brazenly poked those that were on the sunbeds. And this did not bypass us, we came to the beach in the morning, while swimming and enjoying the reef - our towel was stolen. Such a situation for 3 times in Egypt for the first time! I found a young man who works on the hotel's beach, but he also does not speak ours, he led me to the main beach - a wonderful man who speaks Russian, they brought me a towel without any problems. After talking with him, it became clear that this situation is not new, but the norm - alas.
Animation. This is quite a different story. When choosing a hotel, the tour operator claimed that the animation in the hotel is quite active and will not be bored when. But alas… the animation started its hourly work at 10 am. On the beach there was Bocha (throwing balls 1 set for everyone), Darts (1 target again for everyone), gymnastics. The pool had water aerobics for about 20 minutes, and what captivated us was water volleyball - the animators played with us for about an hour.
In the evening, a man was playing the piano from upstairs at the bar. There was live music in the dining room on the outdoor terrace. This completes the animation on line 1. If you want activities for adults and children, you need to wait for the bus and go to line 2. Disco for children, show dances, songs, disco for adults.
Swimming pool. There are 3 on the territory.
Main pool. The entrance is only from the stairs, there are about 4 of them in a circle. There was a bar right in the water. Alcohol from 10 am, until soft drinks only. The pool itself was in tiles - which were crumbling and moldy, all the drains were constantly clogged with flowers, leaves, cups, etc. Why they were not removed is unclear. We saw personally that in the morning when the vacationers were already swimming, an employee came and cleaned something inside the pool, but not drains.
Swimming pool with exercise equipment. Entrance from stairs and steps. Nearby was a small bar that had everything but water. The pool is quite small, it did not have any animation, although it had a fun schedule.
Swimming pool "lounge-zone". It is not allowed to turn on music from the phone speaker, as the pool is a quiet relaxing place. NOoooooooo it wasn't there. As a rule, the Arabs rested with him, mostly their children, they raised such a crazy cry that they did not hear each other, but the music was not allowed. The lifeguard sat and did nothing.
The first night at the hotel, but we can’t sleep because our neighbors, or rather their children, are kicking the walls, the doors have the impression that they will kick the door for us too. It was 01.00 at night, we could not stand it and called the reception, switched to a Russian speaker. Within 10 minutes of our call, there was peace and quiet.
Well, guides are, as usual, a scam of tourists. The sightseeing tour cost $ 15 per person, it was taken to the presidential mosque and some kind of dinosaur park (it might be interesting for children) and after that a shopping tour began, in which the prices were sky high. If you want to buy something, go to the Old City.
