I will say right away for those who are going on vacation for the first time: you can safely choose from 4 * hotels - for the first time everything will seem cool (with a good choice of hotel, of course). So it was with us. chose Sonesta Club - and were not mistaken. Judging by the number of vacationers in general, foreigners and families with small children, the hotel justifies itself.
We had a departure at 04:00 from Boryspil, landed at 08:00. Our hotel was the first on the way from the airport, but we were the last to arrive due to the bike races in the area. But this fact gave us the opportunity to see the surroundings and the facades of the hotels of other tourists from our bus.
Since we arrived later than 10 o'clock, we did not get breakfast. In order not to waste time while waiting for the official start of the check-in, at the reception they "gave" an American "piece of paper" with the inscription "10")))) And they were immediately awarded with the treasured three digits - number 716, keys and cards for towels.
As for the room, we already knew that there were no windows in it and we normally accepted this fact on the spot. Nothing wrong with that. The room itself is quite spacious, it has all the necessary furniture, albeit an old one.
You had to walk a little to the reception and the restaurant, but the territory is beautiful, it's even a pleasure. And the fact that the balcony overlooked the backyard was even better - you can not hear the noise-din from the party around the pool.
We were pleased with the pools - some of them were heated - everyone hung out there, the depth was for different tastes))))
At sea, we went to Sonesta Beach. The beach is really small and if you come later, you can not find enough sunbeds in sufficient numbers.
We liked the food. During the first days we tried almost everything and then we had a clear idea of what we would take for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Although all the same, over time, the dishes became boring, we began to take only the most attractive and modest portions. The only thing is that the interior of the restaurant is not "restaurant". More like a dining room. But the local staff works well - they instantly remove dirty dishes from the table. The presence of plastic spoons and cups surprised us a little, but as it turned out, this is practiced even in 5 * hotels, i. e. , the level dropped a little. And the number of guests in the hotel during our vacation has grown so much that in the middle of dinner in the restaurant there were not enough tables for everyone at the same time, and some were waiting for their turn on the street. We went to the very opening - 18:30, so there were no problems with places.
The territory of the hotel is large and beautiful, well-groomed. The gardeners and other personnel constantly and conscientiously swept, mowed, cut, and watered everywhere.
Room cleaning is also good. The guy came in regularly, they didn’t even always leave a dollar, he still cleaned and changed towels.
Walked in the evenings on foot to the center of Naama Bay. It is best to walk along the sea coast. It is necessary, without going to our beach, to turn onto the path to the right and so go between the hotels (on the right) and the beaches and cafes (on the left). We bought some souvenirs and just clothes there. The quality of knitwear and towels is excellent. If you know how to bargain, you can be very profitable to skimp.
Time flew by quickly, it was sad to leave. On vacation, we didn’t really think about any problems. The husband says that he will not go to this hotel for the second time, they say, you need to visit others for a change, but he was satisfied with the hotel - the best combination of price / quality. And personally, I would once again return to my dear Sonestochka)))).
