The hotel is good for its 3 *, but we got not the best room. The door in the bathroom did not close, in fact it was not there, water was constantly pouring onto the floor, this was a big minus. The food (breakfast) is not bad, average, what you would expect from a troika. In fact, there is no territory there, only the hotel itself.

The beach was close, but since the hotel is in the center of the village, there were always a lot of people on the beach, there seems to be enough space, but very crowded. We went to another beach, which was a little further, but there were fewer people there.

In June 2017, I visited the Regina Mare Hotel in Paralia Katerinis with a friend. The hotel is 3 *, but for the wonderful atmosphere inside the hotel, attentive staff and cleanliness of the rooms, I would probably add another star! I'll start with the location of the hotel. It is located in the very epicenter of the town, directly opposite the main church, which is a landmark for tourists.

In June 2017, I visited the Regina Mare Hotel in Paralia Katerinis with a friend. The hotel is 3 *, but for the wonderful atmosphere inside the hotel, attentive staff and cleanliness of the rooms, I would probably add another star!
I'll start with the location of the hotel. It is located in the very epicenter of the town, directly opposite the main church, which is a landmark for tourists. From the sea literally 2 minutes, if you walk very slowly. Despite this location, at night we got enough sleep, it was quiet and calm.
There was nothing superfluous in the room: beds, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning. There are 2 towels per person, which are changed every day. At first we did not find the Russian channel, which was announced, we turned to the reception and literally the next day a specialist came, set up a channel for us, on which we watched the news.
I would like to say a separate word about the kitchen in the hotel. We took only breakfasts, which surprised us every day. Always a great choice for a full hearty breakfast and seems to suit all tastes. We were especially struck by pastries: muffins, pies, biscuits - vanilla, cinnamon, with oranges. And all this is baked every day by the owner of the hotel herself, who absolutely loves her hotel and the business she does.
In the evenings we had dinner in the city, there are a large number of taverns with more than affordable prices. And everything is very close to the hotel.
I would recommend Regina Mare to those who love comfort in the city center, a combination of a beach holiday with an active lifestyle.
