When buying a tour, I chose a hotel for a long time, read reviews and settled on this particular hotel. I’m writing honestly, as it is, I didn’t see this information anywhere, and on the spot these unpleasant moments surfaced, as it turned out to be common for India, moments. Let's start in order - the long flight tired and upon arrival at about 6 am at the hotel, we were told that there were rooms available, but check-in was from 12 noon, so either we pay extra 1500 rupees for early check-in, or we sit at the reception until 12 noon. And we were not supposed to have breakfast, because again, check-in from 12 and this is a common thing for India. They paid because they took their 8-year-old son with them and he was very exhausted by the flight. They gave me a number.... There are 3 of us and 2 single beds.... When I asked where the third one would sleep, they told me that the tour operator had booked this for us. The voucher clearly stated 3 people. I contacted a travel agency and a guide in India, but alas. . . everyone washed their hands. The travel agency said that everything was booked correctly and the voucher for the settlement has a document confirming this. And the Guide just smiled sweetly and said that in India everything is different and it depends on us how and for how much we will negotiate. The saddest thing is that our English is not very good, but their English with an Indian accent. . It is something. In general, I went to the reception and somehow (I didn’t pay any money) we understood each other and at 12 o’clock we were moved to a room with a large double bed and a single bed (to which the Indian guide said that it didn’t look like Iduses, it was too fast they moved us). The room is small but cozy and clean. Daily cleaning, I changed dirty and holey linen immediately, without wasting my nerves. . just went to the reception and pointed out the problems. 10-15 minutes and everything was decided. The air conditioner worked perfectly, but it is located on the opposite wall from the 2-bed bed, so they turned it on when they did not sleep, so as not to get sick. Hot water did not work, or rather there was a button that it should have turned on, but the button itself did not work - for 2 days I went to the reception after each visit to the room by the repair team trying to fix the breakdown and saying that there was no water. But on the third day, lo and behold, water appeared and there were no more problems. Food. . . this is a separate issue. Breakfast - scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs - Indian cooked on request. There were boiled eggs, packaged juice, ala butter, toast, cereal, milk and 2 bowls of fruit - watermelon, pineapple or papaya. Some sausages or sausages are absolutely not edible. beans in tomato and something else that I tried but this food is not for us.... inedible. But we didn't leave hungry. Dinner - for 10 days only 2 times the edible first in the form of chicken soup was presented. On other days it was something incomprehensible, sometimes jelly-like and with an incomprehensible smell. Very tasty cakes of 2 kinds. Crispy and spicy, the son ate with pleasure, and soft ones are also very tasty. Ice cream is excellent + some strange dessert that I tried to try, but again, this is not food for our taste. The fish was delicious. Rice - which could be watered with something. Sometimes spaghetti with sauce and bows is edible. After dinner, we went to the beach to Joe's shake and, if there was not enough in the canteen, we ordered fish, shrimp, or something else from him. In the afternoon we also dined at Joe's - very tasty. We also tried soups and rice with seafood, excellent tortillas with cheese and garlic. In general, everything you need. As for the territory, it is very green and well-groomed. The pool is the beginning of the season, and the bottom is already full of sand and even mucus in places - it seems that the hotel staff did not hear about the vacuum cleaner for cleaning the pools. We swam there in the evening, because the waves on the sea did not allow the child to swim. The beach is great - crisp sand is something. The water is warm, but at the same time cooling at any air temperature. But the Hindus do not have the concept of a trash can. dirt all around. But from all this you just need to abstract and relax. Excursions are a separate issue. Our family loves outdoor activities, but the first time we encountered the Indian bureaucracy, we went on a waterfall-elephant-spice tour, we didn’t go anywhere else. Kill all day to spend a total of 3 hours in line (at the waterfall, although they were among the first). And in general, everything is done so that we did not get any pleasure. But if anyone is interested, I will write in more detail what and how. In general, there was nothing to do in the hotel. . Ie relaxation in the form of food, swimming and lying on a sun lounger.....For 10 days, it's all just tired.... even in the 2-ke nearby every other day there was live music and some kind of themed evenings, and we have 3+.... nothing. Still, the airport was very tense upon arrival in GOA - all passengers were sent for a medical examination. . . it was all in such a hustle and bustle. 2 hours in line to take the temperature and get a stamp in a green piece of paper. In the course of progress, we were handed 3 more pieces of paper that had to be filled out, otherwise it was impossible to pass the next stage. All of this is very satisfying. The guide, who met us, uttered the duty phrase to everything that was happening - this is India, this is normal here. When passing through passport control at departure, the Hindu, chewing something, became attached to our son.... for about 40 minutes he poked us in the passport on the date of birth of his son and then on the child himself and repeated one phrase, such as the age does not match. My husband and I couldn’t understand what didn’t fit there, but when some girl came up to this worker and poked him at the computer, he shook his head, well, as is customary among Indians, he said that everything was OK and they let us in. . . we had a shock. There were many such moments. There was an impression that the Indians walk in groups one after another, otherwise they simply cannot. Everything is done for a long time, and in general, they are not in a hurry. they lack any logic. In general, the rest was nothing, but in the next 5 years I will not go to India either. Apparently this is not my country.

Take breakfast. Everything worked in the room, one bag of tea and coffee, bottled water, shampoo per person. they give out when cleaning every day, the beach. towels are given out. The hotel is suitable for families with children and a quiet relaxing holiday. I recommend. Any questions, write, I will answer with pleasure. Have a nice rest.

It was also moved from 12-00 to 8-00 in the morning. Departure from the hotel at 4-20 am. On the plane, they issued migration cards and asked them to fill them out. Everything is in English and if you don’t know it, it’s better to print a sample of its filling on the Pegasus website. Kind people helped to fill. We pushed through the airport for an hour and a half, going through customs and getting luggage, and finally we were on the street. We quickly find a meeting person and our bus. The road to the hotel took about an hour. Dawn caught us on the road and first impressions: where did we get to? The roads are narrow, there are no sidewalks, there is garbage, fog, and the smell of burning garbage on the sides. The hotel was brought penultimate. There was not a word in Russian at the reception, but they issued it quickly and immediately settled in room 31 on the second floor, but this is subject to availability. (And so the check-in after 12-00. There was not enough space for the next arrival. Of the 3 couples, the 2nd was accepted but after 12-00, and the third couple was sent to another hotel. ) There is a large double bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a sofa, a split system, a ceiling fan, an LCD TV with 70 channels, but not a single Russian one, a refrigerator filled with drinks for an additional fee, a kettle, cups, tea, coffee, sugar. The light in the room turns on after you insert the key tag into a special slot near the door. The key was removed from the tag and hung on the same tag with the key to the safe. There was always light and the air conditioning worked all day. At night it was turned off and the ceiling fan turned on. The windows and doors in the room are wooden, the cracks in the finger, the audibility of the neighbors is excellent, if they speak loudly. The bathroom is large: a huge countertop, a plastic bath (albeit shabby), a built-in shower, a hose with a small mesh for washing feet. . . The toilet flushes as long as you press and hold the lever built into the wall. Of the toiletries, only two bars of soap and three small vials of shampoo, gel and cream. Hot water is switched on by a separate switch in the bathroom. It can be quickly found by turning on all the switches in sequence. . If it does not turn on anything, then this is it and it is better not to turn it off anymore. All outlets in the room are switched on by their own switches. There is no safe in the room, although some rooms do. We changed and went straight to breakfast. Breakfast in a cafe on the 2nd floor - buffet, oatmeal, small sausages or fried sausages, stewed beans, pancakes or pancakes, all kinds of cereals with milk, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs with different fillings are fried on the outdoor terrace at your request, a little baking, butter, jams, juices. Worth a toaster. From fruits: sliced pineapples, watermelons, papaya. Tea and coffee are poured by the waiters. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. And then the beach. Walk to it from the farthest room 5 minutes. The path from the hotel, lined with Indian bricks, ends near the "tent" of Grisha and Sasha. (By the way, they change dollars at a good rate. With us, $1 = 44 rupees, and at the hotel - $ 1 = 41 rupees, but they don’t give information here, there, or at the airport. ) Then a sandy path begins, which is difficult to follow. Feet sink into the sand. It is better to take to the left, the soil is harder there. And here we are at the beach. Loose sand turns to crispy like starch. On the left and right sides are necks - local exotic cafes covered with palm leaves. Tourists who only have breakfast eat here. The food here is delicious, they cook quickly, they understand Russian. We had all inclusive, but we ate shark and crab here. You order, take out, show and after 15 minutes they take out a ready dish with a pile of french fries, finely chopped cabbage salad with cucumber, pimidor and sweet pepper and local flatbread. All this cost us 700 rupees. Beer Kingfisher 0.65l. -70 rupees, sprite, pepsi, local lemonade - 20 rupees. Near the necks are sun loungers under umbrellas. They are municipal and the owners of the shakes are paid for their maintenance, but according to the unspoken law, for a place under an umbrella you must buy at least a bottle of beer and lemonade. A decent wind constantly blows from the sea and almost all the umbrellas are worn out to holes, but this did not bother us. Immediately after the sunbeds, the coastal strip begins. The sand is so compacted that a rescue jeep passing over it leaves no traces. And here it is the sea - eternal waves roll on the shore. Calms are almost non-existent here. The wave height was from 0.5 to 1.5 m. They are not predictable. It used to go and go small, and then all of a sudden from nowhere a meter and a half flies and if you stand knee-deep, it covers with a comb with "handles" and knocks you down. If you go deeper, up to your chest, then the wave goes smooth without foam ridges and bouncing on it, you "ride" on the waves. A very interesting activity. Water temperature over 30 degrees. In the morning, you still feel a little coolness from the first splashes, and after lunch, splashes of warm water. The beach is free, there are few people, as if all nearby hotels are empty. A free pair of sunbeds can be found at any time. There were almost no beggars on the beach. Twice in 10 days, a boy and a girl of about five years old and a woman with a child in her arms appeared, shouting the Russian word "give", but at one word "but" they immediately left. Indians came to the beach for an excursion in white shirts with ties. We walked along the coastal sand and took pictures against the backdrop of the sea. They asked permission to take pictures of Russian girls, but when they refused, they immediately left. . When leaving the hotel, we never saw a single beggar-beggar. The territory of the hotel is very well-groomed, green and blooming. The first floors are buried in greenery and flowers. A small pool is made in the shape of a figure eight. One part is 1.23 meters deep, the other is 1.53. Entrance to the pool from the shallow sorony. Next to the pool bar, restaurant and morning cafe. In the bar you can try good ice cream - vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc. Drink tomato or pineapple juice (we didn’t order another) local Kingfisher beer, Port wine No. 7, Romanov vodka, Feni - local industrial-made moonshine from double cashew nuts distillation, rum "Old Monk". All of this is of very high quality. I tried all this in great quantities and woke up in the morning as if I hadn’t taken it in my mouth for a month, but only went in for sports. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant on a custom menu. The menu is in Russian, but some of the names were baffling. We were taken out of it by our compatriots who arrived a few days earlier or by the oldest among the waiters Milford. They also taught that in order not to wait 40-50 minutes for an order, you need to go to a restaurant and place an order when going from the beach for lunch or dinner. You are assigned a time, about an hour, you come and they immediately set the table for you. Alcoholic drinks are brought immediately at the first request, even in larger quantities than ordered. The custom menu lasted a day and a half and suddenly from April 1, a buffet appeared for dinner. Another new test. You open the lid and try to determine what kind of dish it is, whether it is very spicy or not. Again, our compatriots who knew English or Milford came to the rescue. Everything would be fine if not for a small "but". All this food is brought only once and is not replenished again, neither for breakfast, nor for lunch, nor for dinner. In fact, everything was enough except salads, and they were very interesting. Sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and onions in slices, cabbage and lettuce are coarsely chopped. Each vegetable on its own dish. As they say: who did not have time, he was late. This taught us to go to the "food" to the opening. Now a little about excursions. In principle, we came here to relax and swim in the ocean, but still we also wanted to see something. 2-day trips disappeared immediately at home. Decided on two trips. This is the Arpor Saturday night market and a day trip to the waterfalls and spice plantation. For trips, we decided to find a local taxi driver on the beach in the neck. It wasn't a big deal. Next Saturday at 3 pm we went first to the capital of the state of Panaji for a 2-hour shopping, and then we have to go to Arpor. Our taxi driver's name was Jimmy. A 20-year-old boy is a local Schumacher. On the way, he brought me to a souvenir and jewelry shop, having warned in advance that you could not buy anything, and then to Panjim to the Banzai Bazaar shopping center. The prices in it for all goods are fixed, printed on the label - bargaining is not appropriate. The goods can be paid for in rupees, bucks and credit cards. Opposite bought Port, Fenya and Roma. Then he took us to a tea and coffee shop, where they also stocked up. Then the road lay on Arpor. When driving past landmarks, Jimmy would stop and say "photo". Arrived at the place at half past six. Arpor turned out to be a small cherkizon, in the middle of which there is a stage with benches, a cafe next to it, and around it there is a brisk trade: "catch the fool. " After wandering around the same places for an hour and a half and not waiting, neither the hippies nor the show went home. For those who rest in South Goa, there is nothing to do there. All the action there develops after midnight and not a single taxi driver will wait for you until the morning. Who rests in North Goa is nearby. The price of the trip is $45. We traveled in four. The second trip was waterpods with monkeys and spices with an elephant. A very interesting excursion. We agreed with Jimmy for $100, but later it was offered to ride an elephant for $10, but at the same time "all inclusive". He paid for everything himself, even bought food for the monkeys and paid for the use of the camera. One tip: this tour is best to go on Saturday or Sunday. On the way to the waterfalls there is a quarry, roofing felts of sand, roofing felts of clay. There are a lot of dump trucks in the queue along the road (maybe 10 kilometers), so on a weekday you can get into a decent traffic jam. And one more thing: some taxi drivers take you there for 2000 rupees. At this price, all costs for tickets and other things can be on your shoulders. I really liked the hotel. Small, cozy, designed for a quiet, relaxing holiday, with a temporary detachment from this world. Who rested with us - everyone is delighted. There were only two foreign couples in the entire hotel. The rest are Russians.
